I would upgrade in a heartbeat
I have mixed opinions on this. I can only get on board if existing Savor holders don't get screwed. I don't want anything that emphasizes fine dining, experiences, etc. I spend heavily on dining (nothing fancy)/entertainment (sporting events and concerts but generally nothing too high end) to make the current $95 fee worth it over SavorOne and just want to be rewarded well for that. I'd love for the UberOne credit to be renewed, but that's a pipe dream. Nonetheless we don't need anything to be a direct competitor to Amex Gold imo.
Yup the option to use points as miles or cash back in 1 card. Every co. Needs an option card.
I think arrive sounds like it could also be a secured / lower credit score card. Maybe absorbing the Discover line?

Capital One gets a lot of criticism for their bucket system and hard pulls on all three credit reporting agencies and terrible offshore customer service. I have a Quicksilver and the Walmart card. I've already received my letter that my WMT card being converted to yet another useless Quicksilver card.
That is exactly what I have, I've had them for 4 yrs. Now my old Quicksilver all of sudden has a yrly $39 fee not a big deal but I don't use it enough to justify $40 a month
Torq? That sounds like something a car enthusiast would say. Like 500 pound-feet of torque. Is Cap One naming cards after cars? Cap One Velocity adds to that theory too.
It seems the trademark for "Velocity" comes from a company they acquired called Velocity Mobile Limited (also Velocity Black) that does digital concierge services. So don't think that one will be a credit card, so maybe Torq is in play?
Actually after further research I am thinking maybe it is going to be a co branded card in partnership with the luxury lifestyle membership service Velocity black
I remember my first Discover card. From 0.25% cash back to 1% cash back, depending on monthly spend (or was it quarterly spend?) And that was considered pretty amazing at the time.
4% at Dollar General in the south would be a huge F you to WalMart.

What do you think happens to my two Discover cards when they get absorbed by C1? I already have two cards from each company.
They need a card that has a 3-5% cash back on car maintenance and repairs. Would be nice to get cash back on oil changes, car repairs, things like that

Hi,
I want to combine combine chase UR points between household members but need some help. I have a CSP and my household member has a FU and a CIU. I know I can call Chase and combine the FU points to my CSP as we share the same address. However most of the points are on the CIU because of the higher earning multiplier and I am not listed on the business. Would my household member be able to move their CIU points to their FU, and then I could combine them from the FU onto my CSP. Or how would I go about getting those points onto my card? Thanks!

Very interesting times. I had recently product-changed my Savor to a Savor One, when they announced the cancellation of the Savor. Now just wishing I’d kept it to see what eventually became of it.
Hopefully stays as is. I'm worried they'll release something to directly compete with Amex Gold and Savor (my heaviest usage card) gets forced into being something else I don't want or need. I'm also really surprised to see a Savor to SavorOne PC that's unheard of.

I have several Capital one cards. They suck. There are several card issuers that are so much better. And they don't give the credit limits others will.
