Justin, I first heard of this product when you briefly mentioned it on your Nashville tuning video. Now I'm using Nashville tuning and EZ Drummer 3, too! Thanks!
Crazy. I was looking into buying EZDrummer for this exact reason. So I think, "there has to be videos about using EZDrummer 3 on RUclips." Imagine my surprise to find your video on this exact thing! Way cool brother.
Hey Justin!! I'm a long time musician- singer/songwriter. I finally retired from my regular job, and have time to pursue my passion. I'm using the Focusrite 18i20 interface with Studio One DAW. I have EZ Bass. EZ keys, and EZ Drummer 3, as well as the Line 6 Helix Native three for guitar. and mixing effects. This is my first look at your videos, and so far I'm really excited. I have a few of the addons for the EZ Drummer. and EZ Bass. It seems most of the videos I find are for metal. but I'm an old school 90's country and Classic rock guy. You're a breath of fresh air sir! Thanks for taking the time to make this video!! I subscribed this morning!!
Congrats on your retirement David! Thanks for the sub and for reaching out. I have found the same thing with the EZDrummer videos, a lot of metal demos. Keep making your music! Cheers!
My biggest problem is finishing a Song. I have about 7 or 8 songs i have started . . . Should one just buy "Superior drummer " just get it all in one Bundle ?
I have the basic EZDrummer 3 for a week now and for me it sounds crazy good, but I needed more libraries which makes this adventure quite expensive for a hobby musician. Basically I am happy with Logic drummer, but I thought there would be some good sounding electronic of e. g. Yamaha‘s drum machines from the 80s/90s which I‘d need for recreating songs from that time from an audio file. Unfortunately there are none such in this basic version of EZDrummer. Are there any libraries with good sounding electronic drums among all these libraries?
I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. I think all of the sample packs for EZD3 are actually sampled acoustic drums. Thanks for reaching out. Cheers!
Yes you should be able to. I have done it with guitar and have had decent results. I typically hunt a groove I am looking for with "tap 2 find" and start there. Cheers!
There seems to be a lot of confusion about the difference between WRITING a song and PRODUCING a record. They are not the same thing and are only peripherally related.
It’s not. When it comes to exporting files for a mix engineer, it’s a nightmare. Most songwriters don’t want to spend time acting as an engineer, nor is it a strength they have.
I hear you. For me, as a songwriter and self taught engineer it's not that hard once you've done it a handful of times. But, I do agree they could streamline this end of the process and hopefully they will. Everything else about it is superb imo. Cheers!
@@justinbrogdon It’s helpful overall, but getting drums to midi on separate tracks?🤨 i don’t get why the kick is ganged up with other instruments like shaker and tambourine.

Justin, I have Superior Drummer 3 for years now and love it!
I have the bass software too and its good.
I have a feeling I will be upgrading to Superior Drummer at some point in the near distant future.
Thanks for doing this.
Hi Justin , how do you add Easy Drummer 3 to your Daw ? Thanks
Great vid man, really cool tool :)
Thanks for the love man! Cheers!
Do any of you just use EZ drummer for final production?

With Bandmate, can you drop in a bassline and it comes up with a drum part?
Yes you should be able to. I have done it with guitar and have had decent results. I typically hunt a groove I am looking for with "tap 2 find" and start there. Cheers!
About midway through the video your system shows a midi groove titled Levon Halftime. Can you tell me what midi pack that one comes from?
Thanks for reaching out. I believe it is in the EZX Nashville pack. Cheers!
