Even though most of the resources teach you Sinhala, some might give you the translation in written form. And that's not how we speak!
What I teach is, the spoken Sinhala that people use when they speak in day to day life.

Thank you very much for you video! It's really good!
I have a question: why in sinhala so many english words?
haha it's not actually we have more English words, it's just we use a lot of English words when we speak. We have Sinhala words for almost all of them, but we don't use them that much. mostly, people in cities use more English words when they speak

Hi thank you for making these videos. CAN you make videos on the meanings of the words used in Sri Lankan songs.
If there are specific songs you like, please mention some names
Thank you so much ! Here are some of the songs I'd like:
Bala innam by pomesh sugathapla
Hada viman dorin & wal vahi seethala by jotihpala
Ayeth vandanna by theekshana
Or if you also know more useful words in songs that you think would be good to know, thanks again! I really appreciate it. I'm so excited!!
Hey! As always loving the videos :)
My question today is, which is preferable? Ganna, or Gaana?
So... Ganna means to get/ to take and gaana means the price. Did I confuse you again? Sorry XD
@@LingoCrown_Sinhala Haha no, not at all. It was my misunderstanding :)
