    • @LingoCrown_Sinhala
      @LingoCrown_Sinhala  4 года назад +1

      Both W and V sounds are the same in Sinhala. SO yes. You can use both.

    Is there a rule to form past tense verbs?

  • @mattlackfordmusic
    @mattlackfordmusic 3 года назад

    Thank you for the vid :) One question: Why do you use different spellings in the example sentences?
    For example Haduawa when showing the word, and then you spell it as Haduwa in the sentence? Thanks :)

    • @LingoCrown_Sinhala
      @LingoCrown_Sinhala  3 года назад +1

      Oh! I'm sorry about that. I didn't do proofreading before uploading the video, so you might see some mistakes like this. Learn only the way I pronounce words. I will do more proofreading in the future. :)

    What is the meaning of athathtm in sinhala

    • @LingoCrown_Sinhala
      @LingoCrown_Sinhala  5 лет назад +2

      That is not a real word. If you see it in a message or a comment, this is not the whole word. It looks like "Aththatama", which means "for real".

    Pl. do not teach incorrect Sinhala to the world. The correct translations of the continuous present tense verbs " karanawa " "kanawa" " enawa " etc: should be " doing " "eating " " coming " and so on.....The way you teach is wrong.

    • @LingoCrown_Sinhala
      @LingoCrown_Sinhala  4 года назад +5

      I'm sorry but you have to remember that it can be both simple present tense and simple present continuous tense. As an example, if you said mama karanawa, it can mean both I do, or I'm doing.
      If you're so sure, can you tell me how to say eat? (Not eating), do (not doing).
      Please understand that that it's the same...
