- United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band performing at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Bandfest on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
This fine band is composed of four Marine bands from Southern California - the Marine Band San Diego from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego; the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band from Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar; the First Marine Division Band from Camp Pendleton; and the Marine Corps Band Twentynine Palms from the Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.

All I can say is this.. If other people give you crap and say your a nerd or sissy for playing in the band...then show them this! The USMC band and this song are immortal in American History.
I have a lot of respect for the Marine Corps Band- I wanted to be in it at one point. Precision! AWESOME BAND!
Susan Bradshaw I auditioned for it back in 1986. Didn’t make it but still enlisted and became a Marine anyway. I worked as a communicator. Overall it was an AMAZING experience!

My Dad retired Marine , my oldest son a US MARINE, saw him March to this on the parade deck.
Having never been in the military, they can do wrong for me, the ONLY band I stand for at every parade! Thank you for your service and dedication!

If it came down to it, everyone of these U.S. Marines would put down their musical instruments and pick up their rifles and protect every American they can. God bless the U.S. Marine Corps and the 2/5 and 3/1 Marines.
It's not "Pass AND Review," it's "Pass In Review," standard military parade/drilling terminology for marching past the reviewing stand. Otherwise, good video, thanks for posting it.

I love the band and have watched them in the Rose parade for many years. I only wish they would use traditional snare drums instead of the ones that appear in this video. The overall sound would be more impressive.
