For me real Blink is Tom, Mark and Scott but it's ok if you like the for tv pop punk version with Travis. I prefer the edgier pre RCA hardcore skatepunk version with Scott. But I literally grew up with them in Poway skating and watching them play the local house parties and high school gym pep rallies. Was a special time and place I was lucky to be a part of.

Not worth it, trust me. 2009 was my generations first chance to see them live with "the entire band" and when I left both shows, I was wondering why I wanted them to get back together so badly. AWFUL with Tom! blink in 2019 was SO MUCH better!! Curb your expectations, please. He likes to experiment with different styles and sounds that don’t fit into the blink sound and people think he’s a traitor when he does other projects, but what people don’t take into consideration is the growth that comes with that process.

I feel like Mark's voice hasn't changed at all over the years but Tom's has especially on the new AVA album. It's so much lower and more matured than old Blink was so I'm excited to hear how they're going to work with eachother's
Its always been crazy to me to go back to albums like Dude Ranch and Enema of the State and comparing their voices to Neighborhoods and hearing how similar Mark sounds and how different Tom sounds. On songs like Even if She Falls you can really hear the change
I get you but I reaaaally like the old voice more than the current one. In their last shows in original formation, Tom was so fucking bad. I mean, live shows were never their strongest in terms of quality, but Tom was singing so bad that some performances I've watched were hard to go through until the end.
Clearly don't know anything about music or haven't listened to these two vocalists enough. Mark sounds way better than he used to. Tom changed for the bad. I've never been a big fan of Blink being a few years older to really catch on but respect what they did. This tour will be a huge success with parents bringing their teenage kids. Good on them.

Dogs Eating Dogs was a b-sides to the album Neighborhoods, it wasn't really new music made from them, just songs they recorded during the album sessions but never made it to the final release.
Loved this band since I was 12 and never quit. They are from my hometown, and their music is simpler than other stuff I listen to yet makes me feel great listening to it. Of course the guitar parts are simple, can’t minimize Travis Barker’s drum playing. No one else sounds like them, they accomplished that. Long live Blink 1️⃣8️⃣2️⃣ 🔥🎼🎸🥁

John Feldmann is a genius in his own right. I remember when the first Goldfinger album dropped, I think I was in 9th or 10th grade, that album still brings back so many memories for me. "My girlfriends shower sucks" represents everything the 90's skate/punk/ska era was about.
I do love early goldfinger so I was very confused to see what’s his produced and the production style he does. It’s work for some bands but I was disappointed with how it was with blink

Haven’t seen these guys since college almost 20 years ago. This band has been a big part of growing up for me and my wife having both been listening to them since at least freshman year when Dude Ranch came out. Our best years were spent listening to their music. We were able to grab two tix for the Boston show before they almost instantly sold out. To see them all together again now in our 40s thinking it was never gonna happen again after they broke up. hell yea can’t wait for a night of nostalgia and immaturity. No offense to Matt Skiba, he did a good job filling in but imo the Blink 182 sound and dynamic requires Travis Mark and Tom.

I didn’t even find out until today, which is my birthday at 38 years of age. I never thought I’d see the day to be honest when Tom re-joined. Travis almost died in a plane crash, Mark almost died from cancer and I thought Tom was too far gone to come back. But? A little more than an hour ago, I watched the first music video I’ve seen with Tom in it for the last few years and it means a lot.
Its cool they’re back together. But it does feel a like a kick in the crotch for Skiba seeing as he helped the band out for so long to just be cast aside just because Tom is interested again. They should have added Tom along with Skiba.

Dogs Eating Dogs was a b-sides to the album Neighborhoods, it wasn't really new music made from them, just songs they recorded during the album sessions but never made it to the final release.
Loved this band since I was 12 and never quit. They are from my hometown, and their music is simpler than other stuff I listen to yet makes me feel great listening to it. Of course the guitar parts are simple, can’t minimize Travis Barker’s drum playing. No one else sounds like them, they accomplished that. Long live Blink 1️⃣8️⃣2️⃣ 🔥🎼🎸🥁

John Feldmann is a genius in his own right. I remember when the first Goldfinger album dropped, I think I was in 9th or 10th grade, that album still brings back so many memories for me. "My girlfriends shower sucks" represents everything the 90's skate/punk/ska era was about.
I do love early goldfinger so I was very confused to see what’s his produced and the production style he does. It’s work for some bands but I was disappointed with how it was with blink
He did a terrible job with Blink though way to overproduced
@@dylanburton4955 I'm not sure he's the right fit as a producer for them, we'll see how it works out with Tom back though. He's a great musician/producer, sometimes things aren't a good fit and it's not a knock against anyone.
@@ulisesmartinez251 I would love to see them bring Mark Trombino back, especially with Tom. At the end of the day, they've had success with John so it's all preference even though I personally don't care for their last couple albums. John is still a goat in the space though.

Haven’t seen these guys since college almost 20 years ago. This band has been a big part of growing up for me and my wife having both been listening to them since at least freshman year when Dude Ranch came out. Our best years were spent listening to their music. We were able to grab two tix for the Boston show before they almost instantly sold out. To see them all together again now in our 40s thinking it was never gonna happen again after they broke up. hell yea can’t wait for a night of nostalgia and immaturity. No offense to Matt Skiba, he did a good job filling in but imo the Blink 182 sound and dynamic requires Travis Mark and Tom.

lmao hope you curb that excitement. Tom delonge sucks live. He hasnt been good since you last saw them 20 yrs ago. You already had the opportunity to see them at their peak, idk why you would ruin that memory by seeing them now. Skiba was worth it for me, as someone who was too young to witness good live blink from 90s/early 00s. Tom after their initial outing is just absolutely atrocious and singlehandedly destroyed both shows for me when I saw them 2009.

I was just starting college (late 80’s) so looking back at these tracks bring 🔙 ‘HAPPY DAYS’ (see what I did there?😁😉). And now … I get to listen to 🆕 Artists/Bands like MGK, YUNGBLOOD, etc. who are changing the way the world TRIES to label these artists as ONE SINGLE GENRE! When in reality they able to sing/perform across multiple genres! THAT IS EPIC! 🙌💯👏💞
Most of my friends don’t listen to this new music I do bc they say it’s just not their type of music bc of their age group. Who cares?!! Music is music 🎼… an expression and we can ALL relate to one song or another.
But the best part is when you’re listening to a song and it transports you 🔙 to the exact moment where you first heard that song! 💞That’s MAGICAL 😎☺️♥️. I encounter this EVERY SINGLE TIME (ESP If the band is no longer together and it’s from 90’s/00’s) it takes me back and I can remember EXACTLY WHERE I was WHEN I FIRST HEARD the song! I’m sure you can too … most people can … IF that song had meaning to you!
@@wendythewitch01 Sorry I didn't mean to make you feel older haha. I'm just sad I missed out on a lot of concert opportunities because of when I was born. Freddy mercury for example. Passed just a couple months before I was born, so I never had the chance to see him in concert. But I grew up listening to him so at least I have those memories with my dad.

I didn’t even find out until today, which is my birthday at 38 years of age. I never thought I’d see the day to be honest when Tom re-joined. Travis almost died in a plane crash, Mark almost died from cancer and I thought Tom was too far gone to come back. But? A little more than an hour ago, I watched the first music video I’ve seen with Tom in it for the last few years and it means a lot.
Its cool they’re back together. But it does feel a like a kick in the crotch for Skiba seeing as he helped the band out for so long to just be cast aside just because Tom is interested again. They should have added Tom along with Skiba.
