@@mahferrazffsouhomem7689 Actually when Alkaline Trio first was formed, they always sounded horrible live, out of tune, band and vocals were always a total big mess. Then as years went by, they suddenly got tighter and tighter, and oh man, the last time I saw them live, I almost think they were lipsyncing as it was so perfect.
I wish Mark and Tom could look back on this and realise that what they were talking about at around 6.50 is what we loved about Blink. They didn't give a fuck, they just went up on stage and had fun. It was awesome. The Mark Tom n Travis Show live album was the epitome of this. Love these dudes! They do they're best shit together, no AvA, no +44, no Skiba, just 3 big kids singing songs about love, sex, incest, boobies and dicks haha

I think it wasnt that he sang like shit or that played like shit, it was that he wasn't enthusiastic about anything that he did in blink anymore. Theres a standard you have to have with the singing and playing though and he DID fall way below that
didnt help that tom was a drunkard at pretty much every show. luckily i saw them at riot fest in 2013 and tom wasnt as wasted as usual so he was actually really good that night. mark was the one whos performance was kinda flat that night.

"have you actually listened to REAL punk rock?!?!"..its like people like beating each other up, discussing what real punk is and who are the real punk bands are
i think punk as a whole, is what you define it, you can sing about anarchy, political issues or about girls and bad relationship, you can sound as aggresive or melodic as you want, doesnt really matter, as long as its honest and its important to you

i guess after a long time of touring and getting that experience, they finally realized it's something they'd have to do for the better. Never know what type of wild shit is gonna happen out there
they became much more popular during/after the '05 split so I think security was def needed then
I mean their band blew up so massively and they were staples on MTV and in movies/tv that they really didn't have a choice. I can't imagine the kind of stress that puts you under when you can't even walk into taco bell or down the street without a massive mob of people freaking out over you not to mention paparazzi and shit.
