If it is a newer GPU (high end) try to use DisplayPort 2.1 cables. Also make sure to download the latest firmware of the monitor from the manufacturers website support tab.

None of these actually fix the issue. They simply change settings to ignore the issue.

Almost positive it has to do with the micro LEDs and local dimming firmware. I’ve turned off local dimming and haven’t had an issue since.
It’s trash that I pay for a feature I can’t use but aside from that I’ve been very happy with the monitor

Exactly. I bought the monitor for G sync.

The weird flicking issue is a refresh rate problem. For some reason it only happened to me in D2: Resurrected. If the monitor and gpu are out of sync it happens. Not sure why D2R specifically caused it for me, but my guess is it has issues with VRR (which is supposed to sync the gpu with the monitor). Disabling all of it got rid of it. If I game at high FPS I always turn it off now. I only turn it back on in games that jump around a lot with the FPS. IE. Cyberpunk 2077 seems to run between 70-120 FPS for me with all settings cranked (Raytracing maxed) and VRR (G-Sync ON) seems to help with making sure it's constantly smooth. D2R being old, just sits at 240 FPS with V-Sync on so no need for the VRR/Gsync tricks.

sir .. I absolutely cannot understand how turning off the key function (G-sync//adaptive sync) of the monitor can be a solution. if the air conditioning won't work in your car, I as a service technician will advise you to roll down the window... solved .. insane ... for my 28" Odyssey Gaming monitor G70A doesnt exist newest firmware since released this product ..has been flashing for over a year to this day , actually no .. it's already in the closet because I can't continue to look at how I spent 700€ for this garbage, Samsung is not interested, nvdia is not interested .. they both know about it for a year and a half
