It's not as bad as they're making it out to be. This is what happens when you're connected to technology 24/7. Before the internet was what it is today, you lived life stress free. The other part of this is people don't realize that Europe had even greater lockdown restrictions than the blue states they came from. Florida never had this problem as you were free to do whatever you pleased so I don't think it's about "politics" lol.

Since Biden took office, there seem to have been more unfavorable results in America. These results include effects on the markets, such as price declines and sharp increases in inflation, as well as bank failures. I wonder if the sudden increase in interest rates will help value investors or if it would be wiser to stay away from the stock and financial markets for the time being.

Many people in the US would have to majorly downsize in terms of housing in Europe. Sure, housing isn't everything, but you have to compare it with the cost of living in various States and regions (not just big cities). Yeah, as a US immigrant living permanently in Spain I was shocked to find that both women and men get 4 months each of paid maternity/paternity leave with job security upon return, that women get paid time-off each month for painful menstrual cramps AND if your kid is sick and needs to stay home from school or daycare, you get paid time off work to be with them. Of course, you need written proof from a doctor or hospital for these benefits, which is easy to obtain. That’s what happens when you have a government that takes care of its people.

Healthcare is about profit (there will never be universal healthcare in America), education is about profit, politics is about money and who has the biggest influence lobbying those in Washington DC. Even the judicial system is for profit( bail and prison industrial complex). America is just such a toxic society, aside from the rampant gun violence and weekly mass shootings, there’s also the opioid epidemic and high suicide rates that’s not often spoken about. Practically nothing can get done in Washington DC without it turning into a partisan slugfest. The so called richest country in the world is failing its citizens. Customer service ain’t what it is in North America so be prepared for inflexible codified laws in contracts, tedious and frustrating bureaucracy and inconvenient office hours for various services.

It's getting ridiculously impossible to live financially comfortable in the U.S. The scenery in the U.S. is criminal activity, drug addicts and, forced homelessness due to rental inflation because we have no regulations or cap to how much apartment complexes can charge for rent.

Leaving the U.S. doesn’t solve all your problems you still have to pay taxes and report your income to the IRS 😂 if you don’t get rid of your citizenship 🤣

I know right. The US is one of the two only countries in the world that still taxes people overseas.

The thing about people leaving the USA for other country is that they want to keep their US dollar earnings while living in other countries.

I’m not American but I’ve visited the US multiple times and Europe as well. I honestly have to say (and sorry if I sound disrespectful to the Americans), I prefer European cities a bit more. If I had to choose, I would probably live in Germany or France or something like that. Again, this is just my opinion.

I'm OFFENDED, jk as an American I probably enjoy European cities a bit more too. The architecture and culture is phenomenal. I like American cities but not places like present day Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston or NYC. They're just not the same or safe anymore 😔

Probably the closest city in North America to a European vibe Is Quebec City.
Absolutely stunning and home to the most important battle in North American history.

I am moving to England in a few days so guess I am part of the trend. Love the US but the European lifestye is much better overall and healthier. The US is very work-driven with long hours. Dont want to end up like my dad who worked his life and cant enjoy the effort put in.
