- These are heartwarming stories about runway pets reuniting with their owners. In 2016, Luna, the world's luckiest German Shepherd, was reunited with her owner after being lost at sea. In 2015, a curious cat names Kevin was home at last after his unusual cross-country experience. In 2018, 1-year-old Bentley was reunited with his owners after wandering the Colorado Rocky Mountains for weeks. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
The man that found Bentley is a literal angel he drove around for hours to reunite her with her baby.
It’s not her baby it’s her dog. But agreed he is an Angel for doing so.

Yes & supposedly they’re smart enough to know not to drink seawater! Heard about a doggo that was stranded on Vancouver Island here… he was dehydrated & even tho he was surrounded by sea water he didn’t drink it. That’s crazy smart!

happened to me as well, he was only gone for a few hours but when we found him again I was over the moon, crying like a baby
I believe that her mom's spirit was watching over her daughter's dog so she'll come back to her and he did so heartwarming 4:50

The girl who lost her mom must have felt so much finding her dog. I cant imagine losing my mother and my beloved pet at the same time, im so glad she at least got to have her fuzzy best friend back ):

Luna was one lucky dog. Life preserver for anyone at sea, even animals. I’m so glad she survived. OMG, Bentley, just breaks my heart, happy he was found.

I literally cried like a baby through this entire video. The bond between human and animal is like no other, it's a gift from God to have the opportunity to communicate and love these creatures. I love my fur babies so much.
My kitty ran away when I was 10 and sadly never came back. You never get over something like that

I remember when I lost my cat for 4 months in middle school. I literally cried myself to sleep every night. We found her after my friend moved in to the neighborhood and just happened to see a black cat in her block. She follows me everywhere and sleeps with me every night.

My cat used to be an outside cat who slept inside at night. So she def knows her way home in case she sneaks out. So glad these were able to be reunited
the first two stories, so heartwarming..... the dog that swam two miles. jesus christ. my jaw dropped. i just started into the distance for a couple minutes. that's literally insane, i can hardly believe it, that's so far........mother of christ, a dog really did that? that's unbelievable to me; little dude is a living legend

Lost my 1st cat, although it was only for 3 days. Those days were hell. Poor boy spent locked in neighbours home after being locked in accidentally. It’s a miracle that we found him as our neighbours were away on holidays.
I’d be terrified if I couldn’t find Spirit. He’s one of the few things in life that make me smile and grateful to be alive. 🐱

While my dad was deployed in Qatar, the family cat ran away from the house, and we desperately tried to find him. One of us accidentally let him out by leaving the backyard door open. Fortunately, he came back after we set his litterbox outside. Needless to say, he doesn't go outside without careful supervison of one of our parents. He refuses to wear a collar, do it was scary for us.

My dog ran away when someone accidentally opened the gate. He was gone for days and we couldn’t find him anywhere. One day, a single bark from outside alerted my mom, and there he was, lying down dehydrated, hungry, and tired, but very much alive. He’s still with us and approaching 11 years of age 😇
my own cat, carl, has been missing for a few months now
he is rehomed in new york thanks to some lady that found him. this lady didn't give me a location, phone number, or name. so i'm convinced that i wont see him again

my childhood cat went missing and after about a week i'd given up hope. i was doing yard work with my mom and as i opened the door to come back out she crawled out from under our wood patio and bolted inside down to the food bowl. she looked like she just got back from nam, her fur was all messed up and filthy.

when i was younger my cat went missing for 3 months and one day i was outside and i heard meowing and he just came walking up to my

this made me cry because i too lost a pet but i still did not find him long story short i went on a cruise in Alaska and i live in Florida came back and he was gone i just hope some family found him and took Mr. kitty (his name) in.

Aw, I'm so glad they got together.
I went through this hell TWICE and thank god both times they came back! My cat in 2012 was gone for 2 weeks. She got hungry enough where she got brave and started scratching at the door of our apartment to come back in. As soon as the door opened, she darted inside. Only problem was, it wasn’t our apartment. She got the right apartment number, just the wrong building, we were the next one down.
I happen to be wondering up and down the parking lot looking for her like I did every day and she came up to me and was like “is this your cat?” She was covered in motor oil. She literally was hiding in one of the vehicles in the parking lot, right under our noses!
The second time our kitten escaped and was gone for 56 days! She just randomly showed back up at our front door. I feed the strays and a new cat came around the day before, I fed it and went in for the night. I saw the same cat the next day and my husband is like “OMG THAT IS OUR CAT!”
I didn’t even recognize her! She was a kitten when she got lost and she came back a full grown cat 🥰. UGH what a nightmare tho

so sweet and heartbreaking, I've had my dog for 13years my son is 6 almost 7 and my dog has mass cell cancer... I'm so scared to see how my son will react. seeing these kids so hurt makes my heart hurt.
