colinfurze Hi, Colin! I started watching your videos on your channel when there were 500,000 subscribers, I really like your content, I also like to invent something. I'm really looking forward to your live broadcast if it ever happens.
If you are also waiting for a live broadcast, please make sure that Colin can see it, put a like on this comment!

This is a genuinely good shed tour, especially because of all the little demos. Thanks a lot Colin!
This was good, I hate tours where they're like "here's my 1850s steam mill engine" and they don't have the damn thing running. I like seeing how the work flows and what everything would look like in operation not just a moving photograph.
Agree, great to see the tools in action with explanations, and all the names and model numbers of the tools also incase we want , really really educational. I will definitely be investing on some of those welding magnets for work
Now I know what was missing from this tour! The secret bunker hatch!

It's so badass that you still have the newspaper from getting arrested
I hear mad scientists see this as a form of approval.
So... i wonder what other newspapers are around there :D
"Engage Safety Squints" = Confirmed Ave watcher.
It's the mix of the basic, stupid simple and authentic way of Colin himself including his shed combined with unbelievable attention of the camera angles and marvelous professional editing. "it's crazy that just a single person in a shed this size has generated that sort of audience"
Colin, it's not crazy, you are the reason for this success, you are the example of a person who started with humble and somewhat limited means and made something big out of it. You deserve all this audience: your fantasy, your personality, the sheer crazyness of your projects and your masterful crafting are what make this possible, not the shed, the equipment or lack thereof. To be honest, knowing that all you make comes out of a shed in size simillar to an avergae garage makes it even better!
well thats how TVR started, altho colins products are more reliable
Hear, hear.
He's probably the only major youtuber whose quality hasn't wavered since he started. In fact, I would go so far to say that his content has only improved. Sure, he's now got corporate sponsors and a bucketload of money, but he still lives in his normal house, and still works in a normal shed. He's the most human content creator out there.
This.
Colin makes the channel. Sure, he's toned down a bit of the crazy over the years as he's matured, but he matures like fine wine.
The better tooling has enabled better refinement and larger projects, but non of it would be possible without Mr Furze
@@girlsdrinkfeck What happened to TVR? I've not heard anything from them in years now....

Thank you Colin for making this such a long video, it would have been very easy for you to gloss over things and make a ten minute and one second video. The fact it’s as long as it is shows a lot about how much you care about the channel and all of your projects, so thank you Colin. Stay safe everyone!

British people be like "its chewwsday is en it?"
Coming from Lincolnshire, Colin has a midlands/gentle northern English accent -although he does speak fairly quickly so he's possibly a bit tricky to understand if you're not from the UK. However, for a proper, impenetrable Lincs accent you need to listen to that other mechanical genius - Guy Martin...
I understand him perfectly as I’m from the same place, lol
How dont you understand Colin. Youd have a real issue visiting the UK
I understand him perfectly. Normal Northern accent. This is what does my head in when Americans say "British accent". You can understand people from London but not a town 100 miles away. We don't have an accent. We have hundreds of them.

Here is a question that I carry around for years now:
What do you do with all the things you build. Where do they end up? Especially the big things. Do you sell them??
he made a video about a week ago about his underground bunker where he explains where some of his projects are.
Yeah pretty sure he also has a storage place somewhere, like a mini warehouse, not near his house, for stuff like the 360 degree swing.
Auction them!!!
disassembled and reuse (ithink)
He's kept a surprising amount of stuff tbf
Congratulations Colin on reaching 10M subscribers!

Out of the.... 150 or so channels I regularly watch, Mr. Colin has got to be in the top two or three I would love to meet and spend a day with. He may even be in the top 1 I want to meet.
how do u find the time to watch 150 channels regularly lol
@@kalleroseworld1919 That's easy really. It doesn't necessarily mean ALL 150 channels have new content daily. I have something like 960 channels in my feed, but there's a top 25 or whatever number of ones that i have the full notification bell on for. Some days there's nothing new, other days I get 20 notifications. Filter which ones look neat, and then watch them. Quite honestly I rarely watch TV anymore because all you see are commercials for drugs, old people underwear, and crap I have no idea who'd use. Don't even get me started on the 'news'... I'd rather watch content specific programming that's fun and that I can learn from. I'm 46 years old as a 25 year experienced electrical engineer with 27 years as a fire fighter, who likes to build and operate 1/8 scale live steam trains, when I'm not playing with my cars.... I'm never too old to learn.

There's so much to see!!
Man, 12, or so, years ago I bought some machine tools to play around with and build robots. Then it quickly got out of hand and turned into a full blown business making custom industrial machinery parts. Have yet to build anything fun. I envy your situation. You look like you're having a blast. Keep the videos coming and I hope you always enjoy what you do.
waynec369 I would love to run an engineering business, ofcourse you probably see the negatives but I’d like to say that there’s probably some good things there
Man you've got it all wrong. People love seeing how things are made. People have seen a thousand thousand engine swaps (for example) and yet people keep starting new car channels and watch ANOTHER engine swap. So if you're building anything and you have the tools, get a camera, or a few cameras and put a video together, bit of an explanation as to what you're doing, what you're thinking. Can't edit video? Go on freelancer or Fiverr and hire someone on a short term contract (most likely from the phillipines, india or malaysia) to do it for you, they are incredibly good, have all the reviews and very affordable and at the same time you're providing them with a comparatively good contract job. Put said video on youtube, rinse repeat. Be consistent, and keep adding content, and they will come. Don't give up dude, you're 90% of the way there, and once it starts making money, build your robots, cause people will want to see that too!
I cannot express how much I understand the work involved in making this space possible. You spent hundreds of hours maximising use of a small space. you are a true genius of our time, and if this was 1000 years ago, your intelligence and innovation would be in the history books.
