Brilliant on many levels. Great to catch a casual conversation with Colin where he's not frenzied building something dangerous, and get some insight into his old projects, while making a really useful tool, to hold really useful tools. Need a bunch for my own modest workshop where 40 years of tool collection sits unorganized and unprotected! EDIT: WAIT WAIT WAIT, the pads are around 10 pounds a drawer?!? How do I not already have these in my workshop? That seems really affordable.
40 years could mean a few tools, great thing is they give you organised layering so larger awkward shaped tools can sit on top and the draws still close. This and trap mat from gear wrench means no more messy tool boxes!
Damn good comment. I agree its nice to see a bit of the man behind the madness of Furze... But if you hadn't mentioned the price I'd not actually have bothered looking, figuring it was too expensive to be worth it - my mishmash of tools I inherited and all the bits I've picked up in the last 15 odd years are already sorted well enough to get by, mostly in recycled cardboard box cutouts. I would however be astonished if the foam wouldn't be neater, look way nicer and allow for even denser tool placement! Don't know when I'll get round to doing it though...

Shadow Foam and Colin Furze, it’s a match made in heaven. I love the look of Shadow Foam and Colin, I can’t wait to see what projects you’ll be building in time to come 👍🏾
Great idea for a product as a up and coming aircraft engineer it is especially important to make sure all of your tools are accounted for, and with shadow foam it would make the process easier. I will definitely be using it when I start my proper tool chest.
I've just spent my last 5yrs in the Military looking after Aircraft Tooling.... hundreds of tool kits, mostly with shoddy single layer foam with holes cut in to it that kinda resemble a tool of some sort.... anyway, here I am, no longer serving and I find myself ordering some Shadow Foam for my own kits haha. You guys could have saved me so much work over the years! Looks amazing stuff
Although maybe not the conventional route for Shadow Foam as most of it is for equipment or tools. Would love to see a collab with an artist. They always have so many brushes, paints and little stuff scattered chaotically, it would be so pleasing to see a painter organize stuff.
This foam is awesome stuff. Never even heard of it until I saw the Furze workshop video. It's great to see all the extra content with Colin and yourself. I'm just about to start building a reloading room for precision shooting, so going to get some of this stuff as I have loads of rifle dies, and loads of other smallish tools as well as scopes, trigger systems and moderators, and wasn't sure how I was going to organise all of them, but this will be ideal. I'm in a wheelchair, so having everything easy to reach and visible is crucial for me. Keep up the good work.😁
@Shadow Foam Not yet. But I will definitely check it out now. This stuff would be ideal for gun cases and cabinets. At the moment in my gun cabinet my rifles and shotguns are held in place with pretty flimsy foam, but your foam would be 100% better. I could carve out the butt stock shape and they'd stand up way better.
@Shadow Foam I just watched the airsoft anonymous video now. Pretty awesome. This would definitely work with my .308, .223, 6.5mm creedmoor and my long barrel pistol. Going to order some foam in now. 😁😁

I've learned a few things watching the master at work. It's really cool to see a collaboration with you guys also. 👍
Colin Furze is such an interesting guy. Great to hear he simply wedged his feet in the swing. If I’d done that I’d be changing my pants pretty quickly as I was trebuchet’d miles away…. Great vid👍🏼

I like Ties. Thank Colin for another subscriber. Shadow Foam is soooo awesome. I challenge you to think outside the box with this stuff. Not only can it be used with tools, but collectibles too. Just think of all the action figures you can put on display. My favorite part of the video was probably while you guys were cutting the logos and just chatting. I am actually planning to use Shadow Foam for work and my WorkShop. My job involves tools so I'm planning to get the Milwaukee tool box with draws and Shadow Foam. My WorkShop is just a single garage and I'll be doing a lot more wood work in there. So once I build my drawers I'll be installing Shadow Foam.
If I win that tie it'll hang proudly in the WorkShop
Look forward to seeing what you do Braydon, have you seen our Milwaukee Packout videos?
This foam drawers looks really helpful!
I have watched Colin for years and recently started buying shadow foam to organise my packouts.
Great work👌🏻
Great video, will definitely be using this system in my tool boxes from now on!
Excellent, what toolboxes do you have?
Those drawers look fantastic!!
I like this kind of tool organization. Good job!
thanks!
Great fun and what a super idea for keeping things tidy. I really like the idea that you can find all the various types of pliers, they are always a pain. On my Christmas list now!!!!
Are yours knipex too?
Got some of this recently after seeing it on Colin's channel and it's amazing, really easy to work with and looks fantastic!
Great to hear! What did you put into foam?
@@JonaShone I'ma a locksmith so I'm setting up a few different cases for different tools so Instead of having 10 different tools in ten different boxes I can have 10 in one case saving me loads of space!
Definitely need to work on lining things up straighter though! 🙈
Have you tried masking tape for straight lines?
@@JonaShone it was more making sure the items were in line with each other, They're nice and straight on their own! 🤣
Looks amazing, love how organized the shadowfoam makes things
Thanks Mike, so do I!
Great to see the end result of these video's - certainly worth the effort!
I couldn't agree more!
Awesome Video. My tools defo need the shadow foam make over.
