Why did you go with the Hobbywing 4274 instead of something like a Tekin T8 Gen 3? I am looking at about 1900Kv for my build since I have a lot of 6s batteries and am maybe too cautious about over revving the motor.

If your just bashing you would have more fun with an mt410. But if you are doing both racing and bashing the et410 is great for both. I bashed mine a little at the beginning of quarantine and it held up okay all things considered.
Nice build Rich! Paint looks good but I still don't like the body 😂 Only thing I would change would be some 3.8 badlands which are smaller than the MX38. Or a set of Arrma Outcast LP tires 👍 I like your electronics choice for 4s, should be a beast 💪

It never seemed like I could get the "perfect storm" when doing builds....like, I would have a motor/ESC for testing...but not the right battery, servo, etc. I approached a couple of manufacturers last year about using their products in my kit builds - mostly because I trusted their products, having tested them for years now and I knew they had a wide variety to fit all of my builds from crawlers, to race to U4 to on road. AGFRC is one of those brands. Do they supply product for my builds? Yes. But I stand behind their products and the quality they provide. If I have an issue with their products, I alert them to the issue and provide feedback for them to resolve the issue prior to anything being suggested as being top notch on my channel. I've done this same process with many, many products and brands....and have not published videos or recommended products because of it.
@@TheRCNetwork This answers my question, thanks. Was just wondering if you would actually choose these brands over others if you weren't getting them for free.
Nice! You'll find that on the Tekno, you'll get a bit higher quality parts - like instead of stamped aluminum (on the Kraton) you'll have CNC'd aluminum on the Tekno. You'll also find race inspired geometry and that's fully tunable. Lastly, you'll find much more robust, nearly unbreakable parts on the Tekno
Are we really supporting the hobby by running these AGFRC servos?? I’ve been running them intermittently for a couple years now.. I’m not gonna lie, their customer service is crap, and I feel like my money could go to a smaller company that’s trying to help the racing scene rather than just sell whatever to whoever
I agree on their CS, it’s not the best, but all seriousness, they’re a manufacturer and likely make servos for 10’s of other companies out there with just a different laser etched name on the front. What I have noticed is that AGF’s price is lower without the marketing that other companies have you pay for. Just my $0.02 - and I’ve never had to use their CS
Is that supposed to look like a truck or a boat? Might as well just chop the top off and be done with it. Not saying it is not a capable truck, just a styling disaster. Some people may not be bothered. That’s fair enough.
agree that's the ugly body ever made. It's funny you said it looks like a boat I was think the same too.. fugly...To people loaded with money I'm sure body don't matter..
bashers just showed up in the last 5 years, racers have been here 5 decades. if you have a funny look on your face, that means you were never a racer. the b word should never be used, not in any house.
That might be true...but if more than half of the people are using them for bashing...there's an evolution happening. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying it's happening
With the paint job.. I know that a lot dislike the body because of its shape... But with how you have painted this there is an old school vintage truck style cab to bonnet over what would in that type of truck be the engine bay. .. it's okay but considering my recent paint schemes have been cherry red . Gun metal and black for a ford f150 body for a Stampede.. silver, cherry red , with lame flake in the gun metal areas.. for a rustler body... Then more cherry red, black with lame flake for a Schumacher cat xls... With smoke and green in the windows..
@@TheRCNetwork funny thing is. It's closer to pink than red.. so the f150 body with the chrome monster truck rims and tyres (old school chevron style) looks like a muscle truck even though that wasn't the intention..
So, what would you have changed on the build? 🤔
Body.
It ooks like toilet on wheels.
Lol that goofy body has to go. Spending over $1000 on a build what's another $40 for a body that don't look like a toilet and a boat had a baby
Goofy to you, beautiful to me....

This is a race model and has a ton more upgrades included with the kit as well as upgrades materials like 7075 aluminum.
Wish I could watch,
You can watch anytime after 7:15 PST!
Nah man, that body paint is perfect. Make it a basher for sure.
Thanks buddy!
Never mind. I take my vote back. You should bash this truck!
I agree with that!
Anche io corro con un kraton , pista e bashing
Tekno- contact me for car body designs
I think they did a great job. I'm always a performance guy over looks
I don’t like the new body. I wish there was more of a traditional truggy body like the last one I wonder if the old body would work on the new one.
An old style body can fit with the old body mounts attached....but everyone is now on the "Bruggy" body now!
@@TheRCNetwork cool thanks!
If it drives like a dream, does it matter what it looks like?
agree that's the ugly body ever made.
Thanks for the info.....I've painted a couple of cars red in my time.....but never have been a fan of red for some reason
@@TheRCNetwork funny thing is. It's closer to pink than red.. so the f150 body with the chrome monster truck rims and tyres (old school chevron style) looks like a muscle truck even though that wasn't the intention..
