Sorry for the late reply.While your observations on the diverse methods used by the founders of Astrology might be right, even Nadi astrology follows the parasara system for dasa calculations and general characterestics of planets and zodiacs. Apart from the material view on the Nadi system i am convinced of a celestial intervention while getting the reads. The consciousness per se is eternal and as such consciousness in different dimensions is a reality that the material science is yet to explore. Today, the west has progressed a lot in Artificial intelligence and machine learning. Naadi jyotisha Is based on ML that is based on statistical regression. The result is based on input data and the models that are created by training and testing to arrive at the best fit.
Today accuracy is not considered practically extraordinarily useful. Rather it is about approximation to truth/accuracy that is more practical.
Predictive models rely only on data and not on original input.
Jyotisha is about providing input pertaining to the origin/installation of an equipment/system etc. and thereafter predicting based on time elapsed.
Jyotisha is not just about predicting human acts, but for any event based on the start time and place (space-time); rolling out what happens in the timeline. For example, if we know at what time Parasuram express train starts at Trivandrum in a particular day, it is possible to predict what time it would reach Kochi or Kozhikode just by using distance and average speed. This is known as first principle based prediction.
Whereas in naadi jyotisha, data for last say 3-5 years about the Parasuram express is taken and a regression model is fit onto it through the process of training. Thereafter it is tested and accuracy of the model is adjudged.
Thus this model serves thereafter in such a way that for that accuracy levels, it can predict the time it would reach Kochi, based on previous instances of history.
In short, these are mathematical systems developed by our ancient ancestors who have to be really credited for such depth of intelligence.
It is however true that modern day guys who handle it neither know any mathematics nor how to retrain those models in current scenario.

Sorry for the late reply.While your observations on the diverse methods used by the founders of Astrology might be right, even Nadi astrology follows the parasara system for dasa calculations and general characterestics of planets and zodiacs. Apart from the material view on the Nadi system i am convinced of a celestial intervention while getting the reads. The consciousness per se is eternal and as such consciousness in different dimensions is a reality that the material science is yet to explore. Many a time Nadi puzzeled me by current predictions of a live nature. So it is not simply a statistical model there is something more to it. Thank you for the thoughts.
