My partner was murdered in 2008 and when I found out- it was the most devastating news I've ever had in my life- it changed me forever. I was in complete shock & didn't cry for days. I just sat there, unable to think or speak or move. I realize they were divorced but murder of someone close to you, who you've spent a major part of your life with is a tragic experience for everyone who knew the person. Wendy Adelson is such a despicable, selfish human being. The fact that she has changed her kids name & keeping them from their paternal grandparents will come back to her one day. Her boys will want nothing to do with her. They will NEVER be able to get back all those years and they will despise her for it.

Sorry to hear about your partner dear. Hope you're doing ok. Yes, Wendi could've stopped this pointless crime but i guess she was raised by demons and this was the unfortunate outcome. Her brother has been found guilty and will serve the rest of his natural life behind bars, and his mother arrested on the same charges. So although we can't have Dan back, there's some Justice that Wendi has also created her own prison, since there is no statute of limitations on murder. Unfair on the boys but lets hope they seek the truth and heal from this

A mutual friend of both Dan and Wendy said in her police interview how odd it was she went from acting like she was really into Jeffery then overnight it was over and she didn't mention him or act like someone going through a breakup. She was stirring him on, using him to appear that she had fully moved on from Dan with no hard feelings and to use him as a possible suspect.
Her response is so extra. If I’m in her situation and my ex whom I hated and seemingly wanted to sabotage died, I really don’t think I’m bursting out crying like that. I’m sad for my kids, sure. In shock definitely. But her response was a dead giveaway.

She drove near the house and saw crime scene tape near her ex-husband's home and NEVER asked what had happened or verified where her kids were. She just went to lunch with her friends and pretended to be shocked when police came into the restaurant to find her. Never asked about her kids. There is no way to logically explain that away. She inadvertently drove near the house after the murder? Okay... that's hard to believe- but not impossible. She's not concerned about what happened there? THATS impossible for me to believe.
I’ve worked as a nurse in the prison system. The criminal thinking pattern is fascinating. The criminals really do think they are above everyone in their plans. They think they are fooling everyone. Watch how she fakes crying. Everyone can see it’s contrived. How sad for the children. She may have been raised by people with lots of money, but they never taught her ethics, morals or character.
She’s a pathetic human. She will answer to God someday. Wish I could be there....,,

I'm the future, Charlie is arrested, I do also think of Wendi and her mom reading everything we write and watch every show. How could they not? I've been following true crime since I was 15, barely rarely have I seen people following a case be so in agreement about over guilt.

No way Wendi's family orchestrates the killing without her blessing or at her behest. If any of them are convicted of being involved, she's got to go down too. It seems like a case of, everyone knows she's responsible, and she knows everybody knows, but burden of proof hasn't been met. So she walks free.

With Charles Adelson’s recent conviction and Donna being arrested at the airport yesterday it’s nice to finally see some justice being served. I cannot wait to see Wendy go down as well. I feel so sorry for the kids.

I have a copy of one of them. Wendi may have sacked him by now (she does that a lot) but you never know. Lauro is full of it but his letters are pretty blunt.

The EMS people had a sketchy phone call from someone with no medical training who was probably scared stiff , gives little detail and it suddenly every thing that happens afterwards is the fault of the EMS company. I have zero respect for the Markel family for suing in these circumstances. Whether the responded in five or twenty minutes , Markel was still going to die. In the meantime insurance premiums all over the US get forced up because the Markels and people like them sue over this sort of situation - given the outcome was death regardless . They should give the money to charity because it is blood money. TEF

Police are interested in arrests and prosecutors are interested in convictions. If I don't say anything, I don't have to take it back. If I am innocent, I will let my attorney do my talking and demonstrate my innocence.
@UniPoLiteca Mtra. ArVi Most criminals get caught because they are not the smartest. Now with DNA and advanced forensics, I think it is not as easy to get someone off. I saw one video where a lawyer said if you go to trial it's a 50/50 chance someone is getting convicted and going to prison. Most prosecutors want to plea bargain because they like convictions on their record and they know in some instances jail time is mandatory, even in a plea bargain.

There are sooooo many innocent people in prison due to them speaking to the cops thinking bc they were innocent there was no harm. It's better to have a guilty person be found not guilty, then an innocent person be found guilty.

She says sorry because she’s crying and she’s apologizing for her reaction to garner more sympathy from the detective. She thinks she’s smart, but it’s just a way to control another persons reaction.

I'm sorry, but her reaction wasn't normal. I've worked in the ER and in hospice, so I've seen a lot of people told that a loved one is dead and I have told a lot of people their loved one is dead. I've actually seen a murderer told his wife was dead (another dry bathtub drowning *sigh*). There is some variation of course and there is some cultural/family differences - it's true and there is nothing wrong with it. But Wendi's reaction indicated she had a heads up - 'he's been shot' - a normal reaction: how is he? can I see him? what happened? is he going to be okay? - stoic before tears; also normal - do his parents know? And sorry, the hysteria? It wasn't normal. Those were those pretty girl tears that some women try cause they think it renders men stupid; and sometimes it works.

This story fascinates me so much because from the outside, it seems pretty obvious the family orchestrated the murder, but for whatever reason none of them have been arrested.

When i found out my birth father passed my knees buckled and i dropped to the ground. I had food on the stove and immediately lost my appetite. I then started to run around to try to pack. I was a mess. And that wasn't a redrum. He died very suddenly. Dropped dead basically. Couldn't imagine a close relative being murdered

Does anyone know why none of the Adelsons have not been charged? I'm confused or missing something I think. All the money in the world doesn't get u out of murder. So many dots that connect to the ex-wife's family. The ppl that committed the crime had nothing to gain by his death. The payoff had to be big. I say follow the money. Good Lord. These crimes happen all the time, people often get away with it, crimes go unsolved, and accidents happen, they just don't typically become television shows. This girl, omg it's so easy to see why she got caught. You know, murder is wrong, yayaya, but sometimes when a criminal is being THIS stupid you almost want to reach into the screen and tell them to STFU.
