Legend doesn’t mean only 1, someone who threatened world class bowler is certainly a legend. No doubt bowlers you mentioned were OGs but it doesn’t mean Lee was nothing. He was wonderful Fielder as well, McGrath 381 wickets in 250 matches and Lee has 380 in 221 matches certainly Lee ahed here (ODI) Except Wasim and Waqar none are ahead of him in odi the names you mentioned. He’s fastest in the world to 350 wickets in ODI(yea first) definitely he played less tests but in ODI he was certainly in top 5 greatest bowlers of all times. Not every time you judge a player from his test stats.
The great Brian Lara. Never forget as an Aussie kid going to watch him at Lords in 1994 during my first trip as an overseas player, seeing him play against Middlesex when the ground was almost empty, listening to a 6”6 West Indian man calling out to him constantly from deep in the grandstand.

I don't know if you watch IPL. But, Brett Lee had retired by 2015/2016. He bowled a superb first delivery to an upcoming U19 Captain (forgot his name, touted to he the next Virat Kohli) and from that day his career went down. So, to emphasize your point, Brett Lee was probably 37/38 by then. To imagine (not that I was shocked) a 37 year old veteran bowling a 19 year old kid out and hitting the top of off stump was a class act. 😊
