    A super long shallow tank has been a vision of mine for a while. I'm excited to see how you do yours for when I have the space for one, I'm planning on a massive soft coral leather dominant reef

    You got this! I'm very excited to see the new tank! Since it's the same dimensions as your other 3 combined your floor should be fine! And I LOVE the new zoa rack

    3 meters would be amazing! Do you have a tank for your current fish whilst creating the new one?

    You need to make sure your floors can support the weight of a 3 meter tank. Also how would you deliver end to end flow in a 3 meter tank?

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Месяц назад +2

      It’s about 400 liters, I now have ~335 liters. It’ll stretch across the entire wall, where support beams are connected through the wall. Should be able to handle 1500kg/m2. In terms of flow, just a bit more power heads 😛

    I love your channel because you show it as it is. I’ve just gotten into reef keeping and just have zoas but they don’t look nearly as good as yours after 2 months. Can I ask what lighting you are using as I find it quite confusing. Do they need all colours or is blue and white enough? What proportion of the colours do you use? Also, what are you dosing? Sorry for the long comment😊

  • @Csintra
    @Csintra Месяц назад

    Good to see you got the corals and majority looks nice. I still haven't ordered because I've worked where they have the store address, and I was looking on google maps and looks shady and abandoned, so I waited for your update to order 😁 sorry you were my "guinea pig"

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Месяц назад

      Haha no problem! Yep, I had the exact same thoughts before. The very frequent discounts are not helping either. But I talked to some other people and they had great experiences, so I gave it a shot.
      Only thing I don’t like.. I sent a message about the very damaged zoas.. and he read it but I got no reply. Same when I told him his website was offline (pretty much after I ordered lol).

    • @Csintra
      @Csintra Месяц назад

      @DannysAquariums for the look and website doesn't look a legit store, probably someone that is fragging and selling but don't have a business, doing private.
      I can be wrong, but in Portugal it's mandatory put on website on contacts the business official address, and he doesn't have.
      I only find out trying the option pick up in store 😉
      Important it's you got the majority, regardless that 2 seems in bad shape, but we all that can happen easy on travel.

      What is this place? I will give it a try. Or something from china? Etc
      Are the prices way better that over priced LFS? Or state side sites? However some LFS are way better priced than the internet.
      And I’m trying to find a place to buy actual colonies for a good price, not an arm and leg.

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Месяц назад

      It’s a store from Portugal, they seem to ship to most EU countries. I find the prices are lower than in most LFS, this is mainly due to their very frequent sales. And they offer free shipping on orders over 349€ I believe. :)

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Месяц назад

      Yes, it’s not easy to find. But they do have a place on the website with all the contact information. They’re close to Lisbon and by the facility pictures and videos they share on Instagram it looks like a pretty big one!
