I don’t understand why cricut doesn’t just alter the software to allow us to print then cut full 12 inch x 12 page. For the amount of $ we fork out for the machines, it should be included. Print then cut was the main reason I purchased my cricut. And having to do the work around is such a pain in the neck. Hopefully it changes soon. ❤️🇦🇺
Does your printer print on 12 inch paper? Otherwise I agree, it should be able to print on 8.5x11. So much waste! I’m gonna try this trick to do printable htv!
I've been tearing my hair out all evening trying to find a way to print and cut on my 12x12 mats because Cricut will only let me print 2- 3.5 circles on1- 8.5 x11 mat! That is a huge waste of sticker paper! I agree with everyone who said that Cricut needs to step it up and update the software! Why only have a 12x12 mat to just cut instead of Print and Cut! Hacks are great but for the money we pay for the machine....this should be a piece of cake! Pardon my rant but I had to chime in.
Instead of painters tape I just used cardstock to make the frame! doesn't wreck the mat and still worked perfectly. I just leave the Frame on my mat now and use that mat specifically for this!
thanks for the hack. its crazy that we gotta do this. we should do petition to cricut to make it so we can print and cut full size paper. its ridiculous we gotta do this for a product that we fork out so much money for.
Thanks for sharing, your explanations are great! I have watched several other youtubers sharing this method too. I found yours the easiest for me to follow. One detail that was shared in another vid by Leigh Whitaker was instead of tape she used a piece of card stock instead so there was no concern of tape removing the adhesive...a good idea if all ones mats are newish.
I just want to say thank you so much for this tutorial. I just got into making my own stickers again, and previously I would cut them by hand (which is a huge pain and takes a long time). I have a friend who's letting me borrow their Cricut machine within the next few days. I have all the preparation ready and my stickers are printed as per your directions :) Thank you so much again!!! I can't wait for the results.
I was so confused at first but when I didn't see registration marks I figured out what you were doing and I'm so glad I stayed to watch the rest. This is an awesome trick
Omg this absolutely genius!!! I’ve been out off doing stickers as print n cut wastes sooo much sticker space, I ended up fussy cutting stickers just to get more value out of the sheets! Can’t wait to try this out tomorrow thank you!
Brilliant. I've seen other people do this but it was more of a hassle. I use inkscape so this will be one more thing to know I can do. There is a less tacky painters tape. The yellow frog tape is one and does a great job with trim, if painting walls! Just keep it in the package between uses. Thank-you!
It's a lovely method! And I'm glad to see that people have managed to make their projects work this way. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make it work despite attempting it for hours. It constantly seems to shift around a few millimetres despite using the tape and following each step as recommended. Has anyone else stumbled upon this issue or perhaps know what I might have done wrong? At this point I'm really just feeling like I've wasted my money on this machine. Thank you for the tutorial nonetheless! ^^
I'm so sorry you are having issues :( That makes me sad. I will say I did have to try a bunch of different methods to figure this out and not all of my attempts went great. I ended up having a lot of fails. I wonder if you could try calibrating your machine to get the blade realigned. That could be causing the issue if for some reason it is not aligned properly
I recalibrated and that helped somewhat! But I agree, mm off and it really affects the stickers. I wound up making the white sticker background larger so there would be more room for error.

Hello. Loved your video. What printer do you use to print your stickers? They have such great colors. Thanks for the video. Really, really neat and explanation is wonderful.
Great hack! I love this because I have wasted so much sticker paper in the past! Now .... I have to have that kitty! My granddaughter had a kitty that she adored & he passed away last year at the ripe old age of 17. She would go bananas over stickers that look like Rosco!
Love this tutorial!! Trying it out now but adjusting to A3 size ..🤞🏼hope it works!!! Quick question if you don't mind, why do we need all for square registration marks in the corners? Reason is I'm trying to get a boarderless print to cut out and I don't have much room in a couple corners. Thx in advance for anyone that can help!!
this video is the most helpful! Thank you. Is there any explanation or help with the offset cutting? i have the registration marks in there and i made sure to print the same file and upload the same as well. thanks
This tutorial is super in depth and I love it but day 2 and it's still cutting things out weird. some shapes will be nearly perfect on one side of the page while the shapes will be too far up/down/left/right. Any tips on this? I've wasted so much copy paper at this point and i'd like to waste much less
Since the update last week Cricut’s cuts have been weirdly off on everything I do. But it could also be your printer pulling the paper in a little off center
I love this tutorial as it's exactly what I needed to do. I am not wanting an offset on my stickers that I am making and every after calibrating, I am finding that the cut is shifted approx 2.5-3mm to the right. Do you have any suggestions on how to correct this? Or Do I just have to keep adjusting where I place my sheet on the mat to accommodate?
Thank you for this awesome hack! Quick question, will the sticky paper setting work as well with an air explorer 2?? I've tried the sticker paper setting and light cardstock and no luck.
I need help on what material setting do I use for oracle 651. I've tried regular vinyl, and other vinyls, copy paper settings etc. ,and none is cutting or it is tearing my project up on some settings.
Ok, so I have an SVG file that I uploaded to design space, I then had to slice the image so I could separate the collage. Now how do I get cricut to let me print each image as an 8.5 x 11? Also does this process work with iron on sheets instead of sticker sheets? Thank you for this video, you did a great job with it. I tried to drag my svg file to the picmonkey screen and it won't accept it.

Hello. Loved your video. What printer do you use to print your stickers? They have such great colors. Thanks for the video. Really, really neat and explanation is wonderful.
this works perfect thanks so much for the easy to follow video
My two granddaughters would absolutely love these stickers!
If you warm up the whole thing before you peel the painters Tae I have a feeling it would negate the cutting mat peeling up when removing tape
OMG! You're brilliant. Thanks so much for this. VERY helpful 💖💖💖
It’s March 11th, 2022 and you cant download without the free trial or subscribing.
But I loved how the full sheet turned out.
Thank you 😊
Yes not long after this video was posted PicMonkey changed their policy. There is a video showing how to do this using inkscape as well
Great hack! I love this because I have wasted so much sticker paper in the past! Now .... I have to have that kitty! My granddaughter had a kitty that she adored & he passed away last year at the ripe old age of 17. She would go bananas over stickers that look like Rosco!
Let me find them. I got them from creative fabrica
Here they are!!! It comes with a bunch of animals

I loved this tutorial!! Thank you so much for this!!
Thank you! Great video. Just ordered through your link.
Those little squares help the cricut line up everything. If you’re doing borderless it may be fine without it
this video is the most helpful! Thank you. Is there any explanation or help with the offset cutting? i have the registration marks in there and i made sure to print the same file and upload the same as well. thanks
Just bought some of this sticker paper. Thank you for the offer code ❤️
OMG! thank you for sharing this I only found this a year later lol. But this trick works great.
You have to just keep adjusting your sheet. This hack sadly isn’t perfect since cricut isn’t perfect.
Thank you for this awesome hack! Quick question, will the sticky paper setting work as well with an air explorer 2?? I've tried the sticker paper setting and light cardstock and no luck.
It should the pressure is technically the same on those. But I can say that cricut has been having a lot of inconsistencies with its cutting lately
Awesome information! Thank you @Corinne Blackstone!
I need help on what material setting do I use for oracle 651. I've tried regular vinyl, and other vinyls, copy paper settings etc. ,and none is cutting or it is tearing my project up on some settings.
Finally!!! Thank You SO Much for this!!!
Great video I’m so excited. I just bought a bunch of paper at an awesome price.
Really amazing video, thank you for sharing!
This is so comprehensive and detailed, thank you!! What a useful video!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you found it helpful!
@@CorinneBlackstone one thing I found is that to be able to download the image from picmonkey you do need a premium membership.
Try canva. It should work the same
This helped so much! THANK YOU!
This is so brilliant!
I’ve tried this many times and for some reason they never come out this nice
Ok, so I have an SVG file that I uploaded to design space, I then had to slice the image so I could separate the collage. Now how do I get cricut to let me print each image as an 8.5 x 11? Also does this process work with iron on sheets instead of sticker sheets? Thank you for this video, you did a great job with it.
I tried to drag my svg file to the picmonkey screen and it won't accept it.
