i've been looking for this answer for 2 hours, i've watched so many videos telling me to tape my mat and use photoshop?! This is so simple and exactly what i was looking for! Thank you!
thank you... i had no idea that the cricut had such a small area to cut printed things out of... if i knew, i wouldn't have got it... i wish i could cut out prints that i do on my 11x17 paper.. but this tutorial does help out a lot... thank you, i greatly appreciate it... at least i won't be limited to tiny decals or waste so much paper/film...
This video shows how to fit as many images within the Printable Area Limitation of 6.75 x 9.25 inches. It does NOT fill up an entire 8.5 x 11 sheet. The other videos that use other software programs to set up the full sheet of 8.5 x 11 - do require additional steps to use up as much of the actual 8.5 x 11 printable sheet. Using the "other" programs you print out the Image First. Then you upload the image you set up in other program(s) to DS and save as a CUT only image and size it to 8.5 x 11, and then create a 8.5 x 11 cut out template on your cutting mat, and place your already printed image on the mat within that cut area. And cross your fingers, wish on a star, and hopefully your Cricut machine will cut out the preprinted images correctly. The method shown in this video by GirlyGrrlStyle is good in that it shows you to use as much of the Printable area limitation of Design Space which is still only 6.75 x 9.25 as of March 2022.
I have tried the 8.5x11 sheet method so many times and I can't get it to line up no matter what I do. It's so frustrating! If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it. I am beyond frustrated.
As many others have said, this was SO HELPFUL! I thought I had to use like five different programs to do this, thank you thank you for an easy solution!
Thank you!! I also have been watching videos where their "easy" process involves at least 2 other programs; this makes SO much sense! I find it interesting that I can't just "hide" the gray square, I have to actually "delete" it. But oh well, it works!!
I had a GENIOUS idea - I set everything up the way you did, and got a great result. But then I decided to print through my printer dialogue box and increased the zoom to 105% from the centre AND IT WORKED!!! It printed a little bit bigger. I will continue to play with it until I can get it as big as possible! But I am very happy and wanted to share. I hope my explanation makes sense.
God bless you. I just began making stickers. I refused to print a page. I just couldn’t waste paper. I kept going down the rabbit hole and found you. Thank you also for giving credit the creator you learned from. That means something. It shows that you are appreciative and humble. My mother says that you can’t beat the combination. More success to you... I’m subscribing.
THANK YOU so much I finished watch a few videos that had a much labor intensive process and I was thinking there HAS to be an easier way. Thank you -Thank you!!🥰
Miss girl I’ve been searching and search for a simple and easy to follow tutorial and this was it! Thank you! I hope you have a blessed and prosperous year 💕
Thank you so so so much for creating this video.. quick and easy. What a huge game changer. So tired od wasted printable htv vinyl that isnt cheap to begin with!!!
This is the unicorn video I have been searching for! I watched so many videos and tried so many thing but this is literally perfect! Thank you soooo much ❤️
Yes Yes Yes!!! I knew there was one final little adjustment I needed to make - Attach. I've already done multiple stickers but that was about 9 months ago. Totally forgot this little step. Time to take notes :) Thank you so so very much. In fact, I'm pretty sure I stumbled across your channel a long time back and you were making stickers and/or print then cut. Woo Hoo!
Omg… I feel like other ppl… almost gave up cause it’s hard and other ppl explain like everyone is a cricut guru😒 thankyou so much for getting right into it and explaining everything so simple! Can’t even believe it! Can’t wait to go home and try it on my cricut! Thankyou! New subscriber! 🥰
This was so helpful! I just wanted less wasted space, and all the other tutorials just weren’t worth it! This is an easy way to use more of the space, even if it’s not *fully* to the page edges! Thank you!!!
I am so glad I found your video. I have been trying to figure out how to do this for the longest. I subscribed to your channel in hopes of learning alot more from you. Your new friend from Texas :)
Absolutely! And let me know if you have questions about something in particular...even if I don't know, I'll research and find out the easiest way to make it happen. :)
Found your tutorial, want to say, BRILLIANT, You have a new subscriber, thank you so much❤️ looked for hours trying to eliminate waste and was so confusing I about gave up then I came across yours, lifesaver for sure. Thank you
Do you have a tutorial up on how to fix the ink bleed from cricut's print then cut? I can't seem to get a good print quality when i use that setting! But when i just print the quality is great
Great video though my design space comes up and states the following: Project imcopatable. I have checked that I took all the correct steps though I still can't get it to work. I may be due to an update or something. Does anyone know why my Design space can't get this? Thanks
You know the best video's are the ones you create to fill a void I swear. When you can't find what you're looking for on here you have to create the content. yourself. I think I missed a step so I am back to view it once more. I cannot waste all this paper.
Mind. Freaking. Blown‼️ i was watching another youtuber try to teach a hack about this but it was so much more difficult. This is a game changer tysm for sharing ❤ definitely subbing
Thanks! I love doing this hack! It’s great thanks for sharing. Do you know if there is a way to have the machine cut stickers but then cut a box around to cut an actual page if stickers but have the stickers in the middle just with the half cut?
Oh my god thank you so much for that video!!!! I can’t wait to try it! That was exactly what I was trying to do and even cricut was like it’s not possible!!!! Yay thank you for sharing!!!
I'm a newbie, so maybe that is why I'm still confused. I am still not knowing how it went from 6.75 x 9.25 to a full (8.5 x 11) page just by clicking "attach" and deleting the box? I tried it and it did not work for me. What am I missing?
Hi Rob, essentially all we are doing is trying to get the border lines as far out as possible to maximize the internal space for stickers. I know Cricut has had some updates since this video but the steps outlined should still work to help you get the most workspace possible.
I don't think it actually increases the size of your print/cut area it just allows you to fit more shapes in the area than the system would normally fit. I have a design that has 2.5" circles. Cricut puts 6 on a page. I can use the steps from the video to arrange them in a staggered pattern closer together and fit 8 on a sheet. I don't think it would make any difference at all if you were trying to do just one large image.
Ok I select make it & it says project incompatible this project is not supported by your current machine selection do u know how I wld get past this error
Sooo you made the stickers smaller and put more stickers inside the 6.75 x 9.25 which you could have just printed that way. But deleting the box spread them out and you have the same amount of stickers. I don’t know how this is helpful at all, the space is still wasted but it’s in between the stickers as opposed to along the edge. 🤷♀️
Can't thank you enough!! Oh my gosh.. amazing stickers. Now, since the new upgrade is not working for print then cut. It is driving me nuts 😒 Any suggestions?
That’s it?! OMG SO MUCH EASIER ! these other tutorials are ridiculous. They’re like doing tons of crazy stuff. I expected someone to say “stand on your head before you hit the make it button” 😂. Seriously…thank you for this simple logical tutorial!!
How did you add all the stickers? Upload image and then insert? I'm just wondering if there's a prior step to getting all the stickers like you had that I need to follow or whether I can just insert images into Design Space and add the square.
This video shows how to fill up more of the space on a standard 8.5 x 11 sticker sheet by moving the sensor border for more printable space.
It doesn't print on 8.5 x 11. It's still wasted space.
I spent hours looking for a way to get everything on one sheet. This simple tutorial was perfect. Thank you very much.
i've been looking for this answer for 2 hours, i've watched so many videos telling me to tape my mat and use photoshop?! This is so simple and exactly what i was looking for! Thank you!

Wow! I've been searching for this for a while. This was very helpful and straight forward. Thank you so much!

This was incredibly helpful and I appreciate that it does not involve painters tape
omg your steps are so easy i looked for hrs on how to do this others show ink skape any tape and yours saved me a headache and hours thanks so much
I echo all the others! All this “do this program, bring it to over here, tape your mat, blah, blah, blah” Oh my gosh! So easy! Thank you!
OMG! You have saved me SO much time! I have been looking for the "perfect" video about how to do this for ages. This is it! Thank you!

how did you zoom the print to 105% from the dialogue box?
Omg thank you so much Ive watched at least 4 videos not explaining but making it a bit more harder. THIS WAS THE SIMPLEST PROCESS!
OMG - life saver! Thanks for this. You were right, other videos did have you jump through hoops THEN spin around in front of cricut... THIS IS GOLD!
🤯 I searched ALL day for a simple tutorial Thank you so much!!
Cricut newbie here. Thank you. Easy to to understand, concise and not excessively long.
God bless you. I just began making stickers. I refused to print a page. I just couldn’t waste paper. I kept going down the rabbit hole and found you. I was looking for changing the sheets from standard size to A4 size and I was redirected here. I'm not sure if this is helpful to me.
Hi, does this method still work? I get a working telling me it’s too large after I attach the rectangle shape.
You are our HERO!!!
Yes! Brilliant! Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the video, it was very easy & helpful.
Your amazing thanks for the help
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
My god if I could hug you! Thankyou so much!
Thank you 🙏🏽. Finally a full size page, print then cut video that doesn’t require a million steps and actually works! Overjoyed 😁
Thanks! I love doing this hack! It’s great thanks for sharing. Do you know if there is a way to have the machine cut stickers but then cut a box around to cut an actual page if stickers but have the stickers in the middle just with the half cut?
Hi Joyce, I just did a video on that very subject. ruclips.net/video/AvatMOGHfoQ/видео.html
Oh my god thank you so much for that video!!!! I can’t wait to try it! That was exactly what I was trying to do and even cricut was like it’s not possible!!!! Yay thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you so much the info was perfect 👍
Thank you for the straightforward video. Very helpful!
I'm a newbie, so maybe that is why I'm still confused. I am still not knowing how it went from 6.75 x 9.25 to a full (8.5 x 11) page just by clicking "attach" and deleting the box?

Can't thank you enough!! Oh my gosh.. amazing stickers. Now, since the new upgrade is not working for print then cut. It is driving me nuts 😒 Any suggestions?
Question: “Flatten” is not necessary when printing and cutting when resized ?
Thank you. 🍻
Thank you so much I’m going to try your method because it’s way easier and takes less time than using the blue painters tape.
Thank you! 💖
That’s it?! OMG SO MUCH EASIER ! these other tutorials are ridiculous. They’re like doing tons of crazy stuff. I expected someone to say “stand on your head before you hit the make it button” 😂. Seriously…thank you for this simple logical tutorial!!
I only need to pring and cut a half sheet, but when I want to use the second page it won't work.
any ideas?
Thank you so much for this tip!! So much easier than the 5 other videos I watched ❤️
How did you add all the stickers? Upload image and then insert? I'm just wondering if there's a prior step to getting all the stickers like you had that I need to follow or whether I can just insert images into Design Space and add the square.
