So let's all believe Kaplan who drinks blood and sleeps in a coffin. Wow, he sounds honest to me. About as honest as W. Weber. So people always give up all their possessions, their livelihood and their home on the chance that they can sell a book about ghost. That sounds logical to me. NOT!
you would think if Kaplan was a real parapsychologist he would move the f*&k on and have other important cases too do ... that may need more attention then Amityville ... but instead he continued too try and prove a hoax with multiple articles and interviews. Why keep fighting when no matter what people will still have their own opinion? ... he was just burned and jealous he got fired from the case. I'm paranormal investigator and u NEED too know when too just move on from a case!
The "Very Angry Spirit" was Ronald Defeo Sr. Responsable for creating the atmosphere that finally ended in that unspeakable tragedy. There's no Indian Spirits or Demons, just an uncontrolled Negative Humans Emotions at their heights levels.
Not what I was trying to say what I meant was the area that is now Amityville and where the house now stands was geographically different back in 1653 an d no one who has investigated the case has looked at a map of pre-20th century Amityville or read anything written about the area prior to the Defeo murders
Father Pecararo was quoted as saying: "All conversations were conducted over the phone. I never stepped foot in that house. I had driven past it, but I did not experience any supernatural events. It seemed like a lovely home." This was an attempt by DeFeo to plead insanity, to get himself out of a murder which he committed.. He said demons forced him to do it. The Lutzes moved in, they heard stories, and rode with it. They also had a tag sale within 48 hours after they "fled" in "horror" hmmmm
Did you bother to check out the Padre's deposition in the lawsuit Jay Anson filed against the Lutzes, Pauline? No, of course not, because that wouldn't fit your agenda.
And all the families who have lived in the house after have never experienced a single issue. In fact they had to paint and remove the famous windows to keep fucktards from bothering them all the time. Sad how stupid people can be. Haunted houses and ghosts are fairy tales. WTF
@dtjesus101 and so far he's the only who made a logical argument, namely that the RIVER has changed course and the GEOGRAPHY of Ocean Avenue has changed since Amityville's recorded history began in 1653, and the Kaplins, the Websters, Holzer, never once state they looked at a MAP OF PRE-20TH CENTURY AMITYVILLE, if they did they would've seen the geography is different then what they were seeing at the site
I wouldn't say fake per say. I believe small things happened ... which is enough to frighten a family who lived in a home w/ said past. However it was obviously blown out of proportion. I think (if there was any activity at all) it was brought on by stress of paying for a new home, new marriage, and the melding of a family all happening at once. I also believe the home being on water had a huge influence. Water seems to be involved in homes w/ paranormal activity for some reason.
It is very unserious - but understandable in our present age - by a defender not to close contact with a person who has studied both the house that Ronnie lived in, and Ronnie himself. Unfortunately, we live in an age where such things as possession are denied, as if we as human are only 'square boxes'. It is both sad and terrible against the truth of what actually happened in Amityville that terrible night when Ronnie suddenly murdered his entire family which he loved.
How dare anybody put down the now late Warrens!! They were good people just trying to help others. So now tell me. What do u people think of Amy Allen!?! There ya go!!
Well an evil ghost would be a demon no? In the matter of spirits such as these it doesn't matter what you call it. What matters is if it is good or bad, no use splitting hairs over the term
Chief straight arrow looks like a bro from harlem, and another point in all these documentry's about this house i've never seen any views given by the lutz's children even though they lived through these event's.
"Hey I'm a demon from hell here to destroy you, so I am going to sound like a marching band. AND, I'm going to make flies appear in a room. THAT will destroy humanity and bring hell on Earth!" These paranormal believers have issues.
Enough already. I honestly feel for the deceased DeFeo family, the current residents of the property, and their neighbors. The real hell here is the one that has been imposed on them by the greed of these "others" ...
it was a typo ... relax ...I have never seen someone use multiple explanation points and question marks out of frustration of a mistake... there's way more things in life to get that worked up about then a youtube comment.
My brother and I laughed while we watched the movie, especially the flies during winter. It was winter when we watched the movie and our old farmhouse had tons of windows - southern exposure and there were flies everywhere because the common fly only lives 1 or 2 days, during that time they lay thousands of eggs around and on windows. The sun heats up the eggs, viola: flies. It's cyclical. There are stranger things on earth than in Heaven. My mother was always telling us that. We asked why she replied because humans are involved.
For starters, you got Amityville mixed up with Brentwood. Secondly, OJ was framed by the investigating detective who actually perpetrated the murder in Brentwood. Thirdly, we must petition authorities to put investigating detective Mark Fuhrman on trial for the 1994 Brentwood homicide, and force him to try on the glove, which is likely to be his Waterloo when the jury votes guilty. Fourthly, what exactly do you think that Amityville has to do with Brentwood?
It's a marching band here in a later interview it was a clock radio where there was none. Lol not everyone has abilities to see spirits. That a whole family of five saw them..nonsense.
@jjobie And believe me... I have no love for Lorraine Warren. My best friend worked in a paranormal group based in Rhode Island and Lorraine completely stepped on their toes with her "It's a demon" crap!!
+Stanley Blade Yes, that or those authors and filmmakers wanted to make money. But certainly not the family who lived in the house. Even those authors and filmmakers didn´t believe in the real story. So they even made some things up in their adaptation which didn´t happen in the real case or happened in a different way.

Yep, mob ties with them..
Good Housekeeping is that still in publication?

Yet on the _In Search Of..._ television show, he asserted that he *had* gone into the house and *had* been told to get out.
And now there are movies about The Warrens

Stephen Kaplan wanted to make money and since he couldn't get on the bandwagon, he went with the much easier debunking.
A man on a horse? I don't see that at all!
Ed Warren: "...the man [Kaplan] was as phony as a three dollar bill."
Pot, meet kettle.
Is it haunted or not? Was Butch in his right mind?

@ALT980 Chief of the Howthefawkarwee Indians, a tribe that lived in the area centuries ago.
@jjobie and honestly with this whole fiasco in my opinion Hans Holzer is the only person with any credibility.
You can't make up stuff like this!
People have been making up stuff just like this for millennia.
Yes. U can. And they did
Sorry i meant WEBER
It was O.J.Simpson he was the killer, and of course the glove did not fit.Lol.

Indian burial grounds. Yeah, right.
Christ, give it a rest already.
And people wonder why 'paranormal investigators' get laughed at so much.
It seems to be a question of who is going to make the most money from the story.
Some Bastards in this world will do *ANYTHING* to make money!!
