I wouldn't say fake per say. I believe small things happened ... which is enough to frighten a family who lived in a home w/ said past. However it was obviously blown out of proportion. I think (if there was any activity at all) it was brought on by stress of paying for a new home, new marriage, and the melding of a family all happening at once. I also believe the home being on water had a huge influence. Water seems to be involved in homes w/ paranormal activity for some reason.
