So, this question the guy at the beginning asked is really interesting, how he decided to find something other than just job to pay rent.
Excellent questions. What is actually purpose of life? Is there higher ideal? Can we be more than just consumers, in seemingly endless pursuit of acquiring money for needs and desires? I will definitely explore this question further... Thank you, excellent video as usual. My English dramatically improved

Thanks for watching and well done with your English improvement! 🙌
You ask some interesting questions, I don't know the answer myself when it comes to finding somewhere nice to live your life. Rental controls? Housing benefits?

@@EasyEnglishVideos Maybe combination of both. Housing benefits do seem as excellent choice when and if someone looses his/her job.
I do think some combination of measures would be ideal for this type of problems.

When I was a student in newcastle, I paid 310 a month. In london, that would be how much you pay in a week. If you're in a super posh area in a new flat like in Islington, you could easily pay 4 grand a month. It's mental

Was that a house-share or were you living solo? Either way, sounds cheap as… 🍟

@EasyEnglishVideos that was a house share. In my second year, we paid £281 a month. Amazing

I spent 100£ for room only with bathroom, air conditioner, wifi but not close to city or roadside

Wow... that's quite cheap! Where was this and did you manage to save much money in that time?
