  • HA-MRC was produced in Kumertau (Russia) in 1978 as the 9th airframe of the 64th batch. After this helicopter, 19 airframes were built before the mass production ceased. MRC started her career as a crop duster helicopter in the fleet of MÉM RSz, Hungary. In the mid '90s a private company bought her and she got to Cegléd with another Ka-26, HA-MPD, after many years, she was moved to another place in 2020. Next to the painting, many important tasks were completed during her last maintenance, she became a unique helicopter in really good condition.
    Kamov Ka-26 is a multi-purpose, light helicopter, invented by N.I. Kamov in the middle of the 1960s. First flight of this type was in August 18, 1965, she was mainly used for training flights, agricultural tasks, passenger transport, cargo transport, pipe inspection and also for traffic controll by the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI). This type has two Vedeneyev M14-V-26 petrol powered, four stroke radial engines with 9 cyl. and 325 hp each. Due to the relatively low airspeed of the helicopter, to maintain the proper cylinder head and oil temperatures the engines were produced with an iron fan, which makes the unique siren sound, and it is often believed that Ka-26 is driven by gas turbines. Thanks to the co-axial main rotor system this type is extremely benign, the vast majority of pilots loves and loved it to fly.
    Agricultural versions had pressurized cockpit, where the pressure was made by that "nose" on the front of the canopy, which is called separator. This thing pumped outside air through a carbon filter into the pilots cabin providing clean air.
    ___________________________________________________________________________________________
    A HA-MRC lajstromú helikopter Kumertauban készült 1978-ban a 64. sorozat 9. gépeként. Ezt a sárkányt követően 19 darab épült még, mielőtt a sorozatgyártást leállították. (Érdekesség, hogy a legutolsó elkészült Ka-26-os helikopter is Magyarországra került majd HA-MRI lajstromjellel repült 2004-es balesetéig.) A MRC a MÉM RSz flottájában kezdte meg pályafutását mint mezőgazdasági helikopter, a '90-es években Ceglédre került a HA-MPD társaságában, ahonnan 2020-ban került el egy új helyre. A festés mellett több fontos karbantartási tétel végrehajtásra került a legutóbbi ápoláson, így egy egyedülálló és jó állapotú helikopter lett.
    A Kamov Ka-26-os egy többcélú, könnyű helikopter, N.I. Kamov által került kifejlesztésre az 1960-as évek közepén. Első repülése 1965.augusztus.18.-án történt, alapvetően mezőgazdasági, személy- és teherszállítási, vezeték-ellenőrzési feladatkörökre használták, de alkalmazta forgalomellenőrzésre az orosz közlekedésrendészet (GAI) is. A típus kettő Vegyenejev M14-V-26 benzinüzemű, négyütemű, 9 hengeres, egyenként 325 lóerő leadására képes csillagmotorral lett felszerelve. A helikopter viszonylag alacsony sebessége miatt, a megfelelő hengerfej- és olajhőmérsékletek fenntartásának érdekében a motorok öntöttvas ventillátorral készültek, ennek köszönhetik egyedi, "sikító" hangjukat, ami miatt gyakran hiszik, hogy a Ka-26-ost gáztubinák hajtják. A koaxiális elrendezés miatt ez a típus rendkívül jóindulatú, a pilóták döntő többsége szereti és szerette repülni.
    A mezőgazdasági változatok túlnyomásos kabinnal készültek, amit a helikopter elején található "nózival", az úgynevezett szeparátorral oldottak meg. A szeparátor a külső levegőt egy speciális szénszűrőn keresztül pumpálta a kabinba, ezzel biztosítva tiszta levegőt a pilótának.

    • @SeanMirrsen
      @SeanMirrsen 2 года назад +4

      It's a stick. No, really.
      Well it's a stick with some soft material wrapped around it.
      Every blade in the rotor has a different pigment on its tip. When you gently hold the stick up to the spinning rotor, so that the tips barely brush the soft material, you get a picture of how well the individual blades are balanced, with the three smears of pigment they leave on the stick.

      Hello, Sean. Actually what they're doing there is not balancing the blades but checking the tracking of each blade. The rotor blades all must rotate in the same plane to work efficiently together and reduce vibration. At 3:25 the tech is adjusting an aerodynamic trim tab on one blade to move it's tracking into the same plane as the other blades. Those Kamovs have a lot of blades to get into track.

      The fact is that to overcome the threshold of 350 km / h for a helicopter is such a useless task that it simply does not make sense. The whole point is that the propeller blades lose their lift when overcoming the speed of sound. By the way, this is also a problem for propeller-driven aircraft, which is why they began to massively switch to jet propulsion.

    • @alexlo7708
      @alexlo7708 2 года назад

      @@user-fr8op9hf7r I think they overcome it by reduce rotational rotor speed
