Let’s be honest, Clover never stood a chance. Ceroba, the strongest enemy in pacifist, has worse stats than Papyrus. If Clover struggled there, than there is no chance they’re winning against a monster at 60 attack and defense and is less depressed than in normal Undertale
In my opinion UTY Asgore's character is SO WRONG He's way too simmilar to UT Asgore, which makes his "evolution" as the ruler so hard to belive if we concider UTY as canon And no i do not hate Asgore, he's one of my favorites, but his backstory and rough past is what made him great, because over time, he changed a lot But UTY makes no changes, which makes his backstory look worse, because it implies that he was not changing at all So in UTY i think he should have had a more agressive chatacterisation to make this fight more rough, making the transition to Undertale as more of an Evolution, rather than just, nothing, it didn't need to be so different, but i wish he was a little different Also ASGORE (the theme) isn't the best fit for the Boss segment, because....the context is what made the original great, Asgore doesn't want to kill Frisk, but he think he "has to", and he's ashamed of himself and it's a hearthbreaking moment, so the music reflects that, but in Undertale Yellow, HE'S JUST TRYING TO KILL US, with no other things, so the music isn't the best fit Sorry i had to critisize it a bit, but it's still great I'm not trying to be a hater, quite the opposite, as i said,Asgore is one of my favorite Undertale character and most of was his rough past and his change of heart, that seems to be ignore in Undertale Yellow
To play a mild devil's advocate, Asgore's manner of speech here does give an air of resignation more than reluctance ("I will make this quick" and talk about how these encounters always end the same), just not to the degree that translates to UT proper's gameplay (as much as it could given this fight is scripted), though I do think musically it's ill-fitting to go straight into the more bombastic part of Asgore's theme as soon as the gameplay resumes. Toriel points out in UT Pacifist that Asgore was dragging his feet just hoping another human would never come to force him to answer for his promise, so it's a valid read that he was less hesitant with Clover by hoping he'd never see the last soul. I still don't think Asgore's characterization is the strongest here, even given his minimal screentime, but there are ways to read it that at least aren't totally static going into UT proper.
@@darkecstaticcommenti wouldn't say it's characterized that well, it's a good concept video but it misrepresents a lot of UTY's concepts and Asgore's character

I think canonically it probably should be spare ceroba...
After if the pacifist run exists in the original but ceroba dies...
Where would the messed up but "slighty" ressurected kanako go
how do you get this alternate?
select the fight option when you defeated ceroba on the true pacifist ruote
You must only do the pacifist route, but you must kill ceroba instead of sparing her in her final battle.
@@PhilAndMindatleast she gets to be with whats-his-name again (and probably her daughter too considering falling down is the equivalent of getting cancer in undertale)
Asgore was significantly holding back against frisk, and was leagues above undyne in strength, so its no surprise he's able to quickly execute clover.
Let’s be honest, Clover never stood a chance. Ceroba, the strongest enemy in pacifist, has worse stats than Papyrus. If Clover struggled there, than there is no chance they’re winning against a monster at 60 attack and defense and is less depressed than in normal Undertale
Does anyone know what the song that plays during the credits is called during the OST?
How do i go to asgore if when i did pacifist i fighted with ceroba and i just gave my soul to them?
You have to kill her to get to Asgore
Canon ending
CLOVER IS NO IMMORAL
FRISK IS BEST CLOVER
wait, how is this the true ending?
if this is the true ending, how did clover's equipment get to where it is
Man, i wish there's Undertale green
We have the demo for it
This is not the canon... The true pacifist is the most true, I think, cuz you can listen the help call of Frisk
The true ending
Why didn’t clover try? He had his soul abilities dash the bullets and beam he didn’t even use it why did he hold back?
I think it's symbolic. Clover probably tried a lot, but he still didn't have enough determination. This shows how powerful Frisk is.
Plus, there was nothing to shoot and he couldn't get his turn since Asgore was attacking him endlessly until Clover fell.
@@Neuwey331 he could of easily killed asgore
@@baldimhobalduco4367 clover didn’t even try at all also asgore held back against frisk
@@YukiSnow75 So could have the other humans who fell before.
THIS is the true finale?
This ending is the only one that lines up with the actual lore from Undertale: all the humans were killed by Asgore.
No you’re not…
Wth there’s not even a fight ?
In my opinion
UTY Asgore's character is SO WRONG
He's way too simmilar to UT Asgore, which makes his "evolution" as the ruler so hard to belive if we concider UTY as canon
And no i do not hate Asgore, he's one of my favorites, but his backstory and rough past is what made him great, because over time, he changed a lot
But UTY makes no changes, which makes his backstory look worse, because it implies that he was not changing at all
So in UTY i think he should have had a more agressive chatacterisation to make this fight more rough, making the transition to Undertale as more of an Evolution, rather than just, nothing, it didn't need to be so different, but i wish he was a little different
Also ASGORE (the theme) isn't the best fit for the Boss segment, because....the context is what made the original great, Asgore doesn't want to kill Frisk, but he think he "has to", and he's ashamed of himself and it's a hearthbreaking moment, so the music reflects that, but in Undertale Yellow, HE'S JUST TRYING TO KILL US, with no other things, so the music isn't the best fit
Sorry i had to critisize it a bit, but it's still great
I'm not trying to be a hater, quite the opposite, as i said,Asgore is one of my favorite Undertale character and most of was his rough past and his change of heart, that seems to be ignore in Undertale Yellow
The fanmade UTY What if asgore can be fought at neutral route characterized him quite well, made by Robr0
How to unlock this ending?
Kill true pacifist ceroba
@@Deltarunefan555 Yeah, already did that but still thanks!
This isn't true ending
I would likr it more that yellow in the pacifist run realise that justice was to surrender themself because monsters are the one who suffer from injustice in the first place, something they realise in the pacifist run and the genocide tun, he side with human ideology and shoukd kill the monsters
Thats literally true pacifist
Honestly dissapointing that we didn't get a full ass fight of Asgore not holding back, and it's not like they COULDN’T have done it. They could have just made it scripted so that Asgore kills Clover at the end, but alas the lazy route was taken and we just get some survival fangame bullshit.
I don't see the point of adding a fight tbh if asgore is going to win at the end anyway
I mean to be honest it would’ve made more since if Clover fought back if it was a geno route
Like I get Zenith martlet being the final boss but like asgore acts like there’s gonna be another boss but then… *proceeds to use ballistic laser*
😡
This the thing than I most hate of undertale yellow. Asgore fight completely sucks
