Bo Diddley, nicknamed “the Originator” for his role in the transition from blues to rock and roll, drove music into a new era with his rollicking rhythms and edgy guitar. He was the man George was playing pool with.

The older gentleman in the suit with the white grey hair is William Joseph Mosconi . Mosconi is widely considered one of the greatest pool players of all time. Between the years of 1941 and 1957, he won the World Straight Pool Championship nineteen times . For most of the 20th century, his name was essentially synonymous with pool in North America - he was nicknamed "Mr. Pocket Billiards"

I 'm not so interested in Bo Diddly or Willie Mosconi as I am about the stunningly gorgeous redhead with the strapless dress. Who is she.?

The man sitting with the square guitar is the legend Bo diddley. the older gentleman that is escorted by a lovely lady is pool shark willie Moscone. BTW I love your tri-color beagle in the background-he/she has the same exact markings that my tri color beagle had-sadly I had to put him down in 2012 as he had bone cancer that was spreading to other organs. I guess you could say he was "bad to the bone" but in a bad way.

His “opponent” in the video is one of the Holy Trinity of Old School Rock n Roll badasses: Bo Diddley (Little Richard and Chuck Berry are the other two). This song showcases the legendary Bo Diddley beat. A staple of many rock n roll tunes.

I always like the video's references to The Pied Piper of Hamelin 13th century folk legend later popularised in a poem by Browning. The story centers around the Pied Piper, who is hired by the town of Hamelin to rid the town of a rat infestation problem. The town uses music to spirit away the town's rats. The town refuses to pay the Pied Piper for his services, so he uses his musical magic to lure away the town's children who are never seen again. The phrase "pied piper" has become a metaphor for a person who attracts a following through charisma or false promises.

Great song always picks up my energy levels. Best use of this song was in the movie Terminator 2. Also the black man he's playing pool against in the video is the great Blues guitarist B.B. King.

I saw George in college at Colorado State University at a bar called Fort Ram. It was like a big gymnasium, no chairs, the stage about 2 feet off the ground, everyone chest to back, shoulder to shoulder so nobody could get in front of you. It got pretty tense!
