Pros: Gave both villains more motives besides "moar wotah, moar lan" Wally actually has a character conclusion. Our rival does something. We had more battles with megas. The Delta Episode... Nothing to say. Cons: It's Gen 6 so it's EZ-PZ. You get a mega LEGENDARY in the 4/5th gym.
Stumbled upon your video - loved it! Note on Wally, you can unlock another battle with him after completing a certain amount of Battle Resort battles, continuing to be a badass with his Lvl 80+ team
I played Blue and Silver version as my first two Pokemon games but I really spent the most time with Sapphire before going into HS and not touching Pokemon again until I got used 3DS during Covid and I have to say playing OR/AS was a magical experience that made me relive my love for Hoenn as a whole especially with the added bonus of the Delta episode. Oh and playing it on Citra with HD texture pack was even better honestly but shhhhh 🤫
I'm only 15, Black and White came out a year when I was born. I got Black and White when I was 7. Pokemon really has a way of making ms feel way older than I am and I love it
It was my first 3ds game and my first nintendo console after almost 2 decades (gbc was my last). The game still holds up today. It is a proper and well made remake compared to the recent gen 4 remakes.
I haven't played ORAS, but damn this video hits especially the music part. the music in gen 3 is actually my fav. I may prefer FRLG (its my first Pokemon game), but Pokemon Ruby have a special place in my heart and i will eventually play Omega Ruby.
Man, maybe I should go on a Pokemon spree or something. FRLG seems to be the other popular one if it isn't HG/SS or Emerald. You're making me want to try them all now, haha
@@b1bbly I actually haven't played neither HGSS nor Emerald. I got the Gameboy Advanced when I was a kid from my brother (he's the one who hooked me to Pokémon and gaming in general). he gave me Pokémon Fire red and challenged me to beat it and then he bought me Ruby and I spent a lot of hours in these games till my fire red cartage was not saving anymore lol. then I stopped playing Nintendo games until the 3DS comes around and my brother bought me one with Pokémon White, White 2 and Pokémon Y. I stopped playing because a burnout and I didn't got the feeling to play any Pokémon games. @@l7xk533 I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying Pokemon again. The series comes in waves for me too. I have Sword and Violet right now but haven't even touched them to be honest. ORAS is probably the best Pokemon game released originally on the 3DS. That isn't saying much, however, since X and Y were so mid and Sun and Moon were so disappointing. That said, ORAS holds a special place in my heart for helping me through a bad relationship in senior year of High School. I remember particularly enjoying the whole optional Sea Mauville storyline/experience.
OMG I forgot about sun and moon 🤣 I played halfway through and gave it up. Talk about hand holding the players and pointing a gun to their head to watch their cutscenes
I love oras! It was the last good pokemon games, in my opinion. Yes i thought it was easy, but i still enjoyed the adventure and everything they added to it. Sucks that BDSP didn't follow its predecessor.
Still one of the best games ever. Get to use my favorite Pokemon (Latias). Get to hear one of my fave game music (Zinnia's Battle Themes). And it was just a lot of fun to play this game. But damn is it already so old. Time goes so fast... I do hope if there will ever be remakes of HGSS it will be done ORAS style and not BDSP style.
OG sapphire was my first ever pokemon game. As someone who fell out of love with the series after Heart Gold/Soul Silver I'm excited to come back and experience this
ORAS are on the same level as HG/SS to me. incredible remakes and even more than that. also just incredible pokemon games. thinking about these games makes me all the more depressed about BDSP
These games, as well as the originals, were released on my birthday. I was born 11.21.1995. To date it is my favorite generation by a landslide. And at the bottom lies Gen 5. My 2nd favorite.
ORAS definitely was fun and had so many good features that everything after that game felt like a downgrade. It was still no Emerald because it was the easier version of Gen 3 and no battle frontier but it was still really good and base building was the best of any game. The Online system was PEAK here. Every Gen after just felt like a step back.
I was playing on an emulator! I was using Citra but I heard there have been some tea with Nintendo Emulation recently. Just sucka because we own the game but it's like they don't want us to preserve the games. You can try it out if Citra is still around or I heard Lemonade or Lime3DS are alternatives now. 🙏 Best of luck
In 2007 I bought a gba sp/emerald bundle because my hometown caught on fire and we had to evacuate. My mom felt bad I had to leave everything at home and was so bored all day, so we went to Walmart and walked around looking for stuff. While walking out of the store with nothing in hand we walked past the game isle and the sp emerald combo was the only thing on the rack. Right on the edge next to the walkway. I asked “can I have this?” Without even knowing what it was just seeing Pokémon and knowing it from the TV show.
As someone who grew up with the original Ruby Sapphire and Emerald, I actually haven't ever bothered to play the remakes.. you're making me want to though. 😅

I just bought omega ruby this year, never played this remakes but man I was happy I seen this on game stop and I had to buy I played the gba sapphire version nd I always loved those games
Pros: Gave both villains more motives besides "moar wotah, moar lan"
Wally actually has a character conclusion.
Oh shoot I didn't know that. Thanks for the little extra and for stopping by! ☺️🤝
@@b1bbly Guess that's another reason for you to return to the game!
You’re right, the Treeko line IS underrated. Impossible to be better than our lord and savior Mudkipz 😊
The last good game they actually released
I played Blue and Silver version as my first two Pokemon games but I really spent the most time with Sapphire before going into HS and not touching Pokemon again until I got used 3DS during Covid and I have to say playing OR/AS was a magical experience that made me relive my love for Hoenn as a whole especially with the added bonus of the Delta episode. Oh and playing it on Citra with HD texture pack was even better honestly but shhhhh 🤫
omega ruby was my first and is my favorite pokemon game
A true crime how few Pokemon games have mega evolutions, X&Y and ORAS were so memorable for me cuz of megas
I'm only 15, Black and White came out a year when I was born. I got Black and White when I was 7. Pokemon really has a way of making ms feel way older than I am and I love it
85 SUBS?! THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS. That video was amazing man good job 👍
Hehe thank you c:
ALSO YOUR PFP, reminds me I should give Sly some love later on 😎👌
my whole childhood is based off of this game dude

(Insert the J. Jonah Jameson “hahahaha…oh, you’re serious?”) meme here
It was my first 3ds game and my first nintendo console after almost 2 decades (gbc was my last). The game still holds up today. It is a proper and well made remake compared to the recent gen 4 remakes.
wow, this video is so well made i thought you had at least 10k subs, keep it up dude love your contents
ORAS was my first Pokémon game, I hold it as the best Pokémon games.
I'll never forgive pokemon for ditching the battle frontier
Fast forward to today I actually got all the Nintendo switch entries last month, and I have finished both Let's go Pikachu and Scarlet. Now playing Brilliant diamond and I'm having a blast.
@@l7xk533 I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying Pokemon again. The series comes in waves for me too. I have Sword and Violet right now but haven't even touched them to be honest. Are the Gen 4 remakes any good? Would you say they are worth picking up? I hear they are based of the originals Diamond/Pearl and not Platinum. Let me know 😁
@@b1bbly i haven’t played the gen 4 games so i wouldn’t know, but i’ve searched about something because i was stuck and didn’t know what to do. and from what i’ve read its a diamond and pearl thing that got fixed in platinum. either way i don’t think its a bad game if you haven’t played the gen 4 games.
@@l7xk533 putting it on my Christmas wish 😈
I started playing Omega Ruby recently and wow, I think that it's the best remake after HGSS
Im remember this game after pokemon X end Y resised they make next Omega Ruby end Alpha Safayer
I started playing Pokemon with Sapphire on the Gameboy Advance SP, for me 3rd Gen and 3rd Gen Remake are the best Generation(s)
@@ofcShiro I see you have amazing taste 😎🤝
I feel old, I just stopped playing alpha sapphire last year
You gotta run it back 😎🤝
Still one of the best games ever.
Gen 5 is next Gen 2 is done HgSs ARE the remakes is was NEVER Johtos turn again.
amazing video u deserve way more subs that it’s actually insane i believe in your journey
I appreciate the love and thank you for stopping by! Your positivity is valued a lot here 😎🤝
Very well said, and excellent video
Thank you! 😁
Really nice commentary ❤ sub and liked!
Don’t sleep on Pokémon Contests until you win a Master Class 👀. I used to hate them but I like them now
I will give them a chance...
One day...
outro music title?
The End (Rejected Demo) - In Love with a Ghost (in description) 😎🤝
HOT take: best pokemon games
W take
9 years but no cap it looks better than gen 9 😭😭😭
Nice video man
Man I feel old now
These games, as well as the originals, were released on my birthday. I was born 11.21.1995.
To date it is my favorite generation by a landslide. And at the bottom lies Gen 5. My 2nd favorite.
I always play these games on my phone ❤️
What now...
oras are the best pokemon games of all time imo. Too bad they havent released a single game that even came close since.
I'm currently playing this game but your graphics look way better than my 3DS. are you playing on an emulator? i want to okay with your graphics haha
Best of luck
Wait. ORAS is 9 years old?!!!!
Is no one gonna talk about him using the master ball on a eevee
Hehehe 😂🤝 I thought it was funny c:
In 2007 I bought a gba sp/emerald bundle because my hometown caught on fire and we had to evacuate. My mom felt bad I had to leave everything at home and was so bored all day, so we went to Walmart and walked around looking for stuff. While walking out of the store with nothing in hand we walked past the game isle and the sp emerald combo was the only thing on the rack. Right on the edge next to the walkway. I asked “can I have this?” Without even knowing what it was just seeing Pokémon and knowing it from the TV show.
Never played the remakes but Emerald was and still is my favorite pokemon game glad people still love it even up till now
Man 9 years is crazy
Your upscaling is bananas
This was the last Pokémon game I bought and played
As someone who grew up with the original Ruby Sapphire and Emerald, I actually haven't ever bothered to play the remakes.. you're making me want to though. 😅
It's never too late! 😁😁
Ah ORAS, the last good remake
I had the opportunity to share secret bases with a friend on the GBA as a kid. That was so mind blowing at the time.
Pokémon Omega Ruby was my very first Pokémon game up until that point i only watched the anime and got that book that has every Pokémon in it at the book fairs i remember my first starter being torchic i also remember a few of my first few team members being delcatty vileplume can't believe its been so long since i began playing it
I'm glad I was able to make you reminisce about it! My first team was Sceptile, Gardevoir, Manectric, Aggron, Gyarados, and Hariyama 😎🤝
@b1bbly Cool, I lost my original game cartridge, but I plan on buying a new one and replaying the game with a few strict rules
Im ur 601st sub. Nice vid btw
I appreciate it brotha 🤝
Sapphire was my very first Pokémon game, so Gen 3 has a special place in my heart
Forever and always
Pokémon Emerald should have been remade.
Currently replaying Pokémon sapphire ^.^
@@Back.too90s LET'S GOOO this remake never dies ♥️♥️
