ORAS was one of those games me and my friend played endlessly for hours at high school, getting all those legendaries the through codes at eb games. ah the days.

Pokemon Omega Ruby will always and forever be my favorite pokemon game! Not only because I have so much nostalgia for both gen 3 and gen 6, Omega Ruby is also just an amazing game! I know I wish the frontier was there too but we need to appreciate what we have instead of being upset about what we don't. This video does an amazing job at showing the amazing beauty of Pokemon Omega Ruby so thank you so much
This videos was actually really wonderful to see. People always love to downlpaly oras mainly because the lack of battle frontier. But the way you go in depth about all the subtle things that give it so much heart just really made me feel happy inside. Definitely need to play it again

God ORAS is beautiful, ugh take me back to the release of ORAS. It was my very first own pokemon game and it was amazing! Everytime I hear the music from The Delta Episode it tugs at my heartstrings! From someone who's logged 700+ hours of my life into Alpha Sapphire since 2014 and still going strong in 2023 I loved this video
Hey dude, ORAS was my first game as well, and it’s also my favorite game to this day, and to see it get hated on so much when it doesn’t really have any negatives to worry about when you focus on everything good that the game has. I love this game ❤
I got back into Pokémon in 2020 during the lockdowns. One of the games I played for the first time was ORAS. I was lucky enough to play Alpha Sapphire without knowledge of the Delta Episode. Needless to say, a double legendary battle which ends in space blew my mind. I later visited my childhood home. I couldn’t quite remember the last Pokémon game I had played… it was Sapphire. We often wonder if it would be possible to experience the magic of a story the first time all over again. Playing Alpha Sapphire 17 years after the original might be the only time I’ve been able to relive a story anew. What a great set of games.
I loved this game back in 2014 and I still do, this games are really underrated because people like do hate on 3d pokemon games for nothing, besides the lack of bttle frontier( I'm not the biggest fan of, I'm more of a tradicional battles kind of person) this games are amazing, they really hold a place in my hearth
I'm on the same page. The Battle Frontier never amaze me that much, but I loved the themes. Being able to hear the remaster version of the Battle Frontier on the Battle Maison was already enough for me. Also, I hate how people talk about the Maison in Hoenn being copy pasted from Kalos, but never talk about the Sinnoh Frontier in Johto. The place is an island in ORAS, and has differences from it's counterpart in XY, not only that, but they have a meaning to be there. The Sinnoh Frontier in other hand doesn't have ANY changes, ANY meanings to be there and ANY sense at all to be in Johto.
I did not buy ORAS when they came out because I was disappointed with the lack of a Battle Frontier. Emerald was my first game. I bought a copy of Alpha Sapphire last year because it was half the price. Oooh boy was I wrong for dismissing it. Now I just feel like I missed out. The Dexnav was such a joy. The post game spoils us with shinies and the multiple methods that may differentiate pokemon from one another in how they can be shiny hunted. ORAS are not perfect games, but they are still amazing. Everything you've mentioned in the video too. Fantastic. This video deserves more views!
ORAS are the best pokemon games. The nostalgia, graphics, details, personality, May, Wally, Steven, Zinnia, the music, the dialogue, the delta episode, and many more! It is better than the original games in every way! May is also like your best friend (and maybe more). Wally is like your fan that wants to become stronger to even match your skill. Steven is just Steven and the Zinnia theme is sooooooooooo good. Maxie and Archie are the best! And oh my god that end part. It made me cry! No joke! Overall, ORAS are simply the best and it is in my opinion: a masterpiece
Your enthusiasm for these games shines through the screen, dude. It's very refreshing to see in this day and age of jaded players. I remember being surprised to hear that there was apparently some decent backlash against these remakes. I enjoyed them quite a bit for what they were to me: a modern revisit to dear old games.
imo, oras was really good. my favorite games remade plus it was mad in gen 6, one of my most favorite gens, because of x and y and now with hoenn games remade, it made me love hoenn and gen 6 more!
@@ameliamiller450 I thought I was the only one to appreciate that! It's like a sublte reminder that torchic is both literally AND metaphorically chicken!
There's a house in Dewford Town that has a very funny thing to do with it. Inside, there are many people talking about a "Potion Festival", and you can change it to anything in your bag by talking to a boy in front of the house. For example, if I talk to the boy and select Diancite and Festival, everyone in the house will start talking about "Diancite Festival."
How anyone can call the ORAS games "soulless" aren't true Pokemon fans. This game was fucking amazing and had so many little details that paid tribute the OG R/S/E games and the added Delta Episode my goodness - it was everything I wish we had when the OG games came out especially with the battle of Rayquaza and Deoxys in fucking SPACE!
This is a really good video. I lost my copy of alpha sapphire so sadly I can't really explore anymore, but watching this video made me realize how much I didn't notice in my playthrough.
I really would give anything, and I mean ANYTHING to go back in time and experience Pokémon Sapphire for the first time again. 😢 I have such an emotional attachment to the game as my dad died in December the year it was released and I got it for Xmas that year. I escaped my real life problems in Hoenn.
Playing ORAS during it's live era, was the best time I've had with pokemon-- EVER. Playing both Y and OR, completing a living, making my first competitive mon. Having mini games that give you EV's. The flavor and function of the touch screen and other interactions in the game. The most phenominal experience I've ever had with the series. I've been around since day 1 with pkmn. Gen 3 was my fave, and ORAS became my absolute favorite. Video was a great synopsis of the games.
Omega ruby is my favorite Pokémon game of all time. Ruby is a close second because that was literally my childhood. It’s hard realizing how long ago it was when we had massive TVs and advance SPs. Omega ruby allows me to revisit my past I don’t look back on enough and I love it for that
The arguments I hear why ORAS is bad: too easy difficulty, no Battle Frontier, and the original music was better. Why I love ORAS: there's no more need to grind since the OP exp share exists, Team Magma and Aqua having expanded lore, all the music is rockin' and easily beats the original for me, and so much more (a lot which is covered in your video).
I’m currently playing through OR, and the ease doesn’t just come from the XP share. My Combusken rolls the entire game regardless of type matchup, i literally don’t need any other Pokémon because of how insanely over leveled and powerful all the starters become simply by playing the game
What's sad is how you see how they did a proper remake of an old game with ORAS and see how compared to these, the remakes of Dimond and Pearl look even worse. You can totally reimagine these old games and modernize them, add new features and events, and update the story and still make it feel like a better version of the old game. Meanwhile, the diamond and pearl remakes were a sad excuse of them putting out the bare minimum and failing horribly.
While it’s easy to nitpick ORAS for leaving out additional content that had been added in Emerald, the difficulty of grinding post elite 4, and many other, I do adore these games for the graphics and content they did include and obviously put a lot of effort into it! Still 10/10 IMO. Also anyone else notice what looks like a gimmighoul book in the trainer school frame?
Commenting before i watch, I'll reply my thoughts after I'm done. I grew up after RSE by a couple years, so the pokemon game i grew up with was Diamond Pearl and Platinum. Due to this i never really enjoyed a hoenn game. I had played emerald on an emulator, but it was rushed and didn't have the same feel. When i got my 2ds to play sun and moon, i picked up a copy of Alpha sapphire, and didn't play it until recently, but i see now why people consider gen 3 to be the best. It was such a Good game and the additions of orad where top tier.
Such a great video essay displaying the wonders of ORAS. Also i just realized this is a 6 month old vid. I came here from your pokemon music video. Not sure how i missed this.
I think these might genuinely be my favorite pokemon games in general, also the last time we got a true "national dex", I still play these often and probably will continue to do so for a long time!
After all the poketubers making essays about all the bad thing i almost forgot how good the franchise and especially these games are. Thanks for reminding me. (sry for bad english im not a native speaker)
ORAS was my very first pokemon game when i was little. it was so amazing to explore the world, go through all the side quests, and just take in what the game has to offer. ORAS holds a very special place in my heart and is my personal #1 pokemon game. so much love went into this remake and i love it so much. im so glad others appreciate this game as much as i did, even if u didn't play the original Ruby and Sapphire. this video brought back so many memories!! thank you so much (: i might just pick up my 3DS and look at my old save file.
thank you so much for making this video. ORAS is the reason i got into pokemon and a quintessential part of my childhood, and this was a blast of nostalgia i didn't even know i needed. this video was truly wonderful, and even brought a tear or two to my eye. your passion for hoenn and skill as a creator really shine in this video, keep doing what you do :)
Literally, my only gripe with ORAS that I can think off the top of my head is they're kinda easy compared to the originals and the lack of Gym Leader rematches, which has become an often recurring thing since Emerald and in recent years has essentially become a staple. Other than that, they're amazing.
ORAS will always be my favorite pokemon games. Not only was X and Y the first pokemon games I actually got to make it completely through. ORAS was the first pokemon game I got to be excited for. The first pokemon game I had to get day 1. The first pokemon game where I made an effort to buy both versions and play them both completely. I've played through oras tons of times now. Will always be the best pokemon game in my opinion
Pokemon Omega Ruby was the first Pokemon game I played. I was so in love with every single detail about it and how amazing it was. While I have become much more critical of these games as time passed and don't find them perfect (heck sometimes I prefer going back to Ruby), this video showed me how much love heart and soul was put into this experience and why I held it so dearly before. It's brimming with life and love and now I wish I hadn't lost my Omega Ruby cartridge cause now I wanna know so much more about this region and it's people. This video was amazing, as was this remake.
I'm four years late to this video, but I just wanted to say: thank you so, so much for making this I recently got back into Pokemon after not playing it since I was a child/my early teens. When getting back into it, I, of course, wanted to replay all the DS Pokemon games, (especially since I have forgotten all of the stories). But one thing I did remember was my love for Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (I have reseted my AS game many, many times as a kid LMAO). I didn't know why and the only thing I really could remember was my love for especially the Delta episode. So when it came time to replaying it, I was particularly excited And I really couldn't believe it. I can't even describe how much I loved, LOVED this specific Pokemon game. I thought my love for ORAS was just stemmed from me being a stupid kid, not knowing what was objectively bad or good. But now that I know as an adult, I feel like I appreciate ORAS EVEN MORE. The amount of time, energy, effort, and LOVE put into ORAS was so emotional to see. The changes and the small details they put into this remake was phenomenal and, honestly, I think it should be a standard on how to make remakes for ANY game. I could go on for hours on how much this game made me feel (there's a lot of positive emotions to say the least LMAO) But, besides that, I especially want to thank you for this video. I couldn't believe the amount of small details you were able to find and condense it into ~30 minutes. You, of course, probably found details online, but you managed to put time into ypur day to actually have it in your game and show it to the camera. And your voice! I can tell from your voice how much passion and love you have for ORAS, and it really is admirable. This whole video is ORAS has now become one of my favorite games of all time now. I've only recently replayed it, but I already want to start all over and play it again. It has become a game that means so much to me, like it wasn't that before. And watching a vid of someone also feeling the same makes me extraordinary happy and, honestly, comforting. Despite how random and ranty it may be, this video is one of those videos where I will go back to if I ever feel down about myself and need some comfort. This game seriously means sm, it's so beautiful
I'm 4 months late to this comment, but thank you so much for watching, and taking time to write back with a lovely response! I actually did find quite a lot of these details during my roughly 14 playthroughs of this game haha. I'm glad it can bring people together and I hope that Pokemon can find a balance between maintaining this kind of charm while keeping up with new technology and play styles. Long live ORAS!
Thank you finally someone putting some respect on my favorite Pokemon Game Ever Alpha Sapphire!!! Honestly people hating this game was what made me stop taking haters completely non seriously and sadly because of these overly cynical individuals of what feels like EVERY SINGLE GAME after Platinum that it made me ignore the warnings about Scarlet and Violet. Also best music of any Pokemon game, playing Alpha Sapphire in 2014 was a magical experience with headphones✨✨✨
ORAS are the best remakes in my opinion, the only criticism i see for these games is the lack of Battle Frontier, which i never even played or cared about.
this video made me so happy. i love everything they put in to this game. i have a fresh save file ready to be played in alpha sapphire and this made me so so excited
Absolutely love ORAS and am surprised at the lack of praise they seem to get from fans. This video does a great job at highlighting some overlooked small but brilliant details
It’s cool to witness the narrative shift on this game. It felt like the internet didn’t like it from 2014 to now, and seeing people now say they’re great is a welcome change.
I'd love to see what your pal Kevin thinks of brilliant diamond and shining pearl those things arevthe most soulless things I've ever seen. And that's just an understatement.
I remember ORAS a lot. It was my 13th birthday and in middle school, and I remember being very excited. The only Pokémon games I had played prior to ORAS was X and Y and White 1
I've played the game for over 350 hours and love it very much. My all-time favorite Pokemon game. And yet I didn't seem to know a lot about what to do and see in the game. Thanks for this video, I have to try a few things 😉
Gen 6 is the generation I played the most by far. The wonder trade system brought a sense of risk, excitement and, well, WONDER. The graphics were beautiful, for the first time it felt more realistic than the anime. The national dex was a challenge to get, but with the new wonder trade and GTS system, was possible even with 1 cartridge of the game and 0 friends. Every aspect of this game was beautifully detailed. Just talking about it has made me want to replay it… so bye! Great video ahaha
This is why alpha sapphire has been my favorite game since it came out. And it contests hard with my runners up. I played my alpha sapphire for hundreds and hundreds of hours, and probably still will to come.
I love these games and i have a lot of nostalgia for them, because Omega Ruby was my first Pokemon game and my most played 3DS game to this day. I used to spend hours rebattling random trainers to get pokemon to level 100. Also I loved using the dex nav to catch all pokemon on each route. I never caught them all but it was a great part of my childhood.
My Pokémon Omega Ruby cartridge was the first one I tried playing after about a year. I was DEVASTATED that it didn’t work. I’ve seen restoration techniques online but I’ve been afraid to try them. Still lives rent-free in my heart, though.
There are absolutely some things about ORAS that I don't like but I can't deny that I still really like them! Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's lack of redesigns have made me appreciate ORAS's even more (especially with Teams Aqua and Magma (especially especially Tabitha))!
If there's one thing I regret in life, it was not having played ORAS the minute it was released. I was too obsessed with Smash Wii U at the time, that I completely forgot about it. It wasn't until early 2015, after I finally got a 3DS that I started getting into Pokémon again...starting with Pokémon X. I think it was towards the end of that year that I finally got to experience ORAS completely, and let me tell you that I was heavily bummed at the missed opportunities when it came to online interactivity. Would have to have love messed around with secret bases or contests with folks that aren't AIs. It was my own fault for missing out obviously. 😔 Fun Fact: The lack of a Battle Frontier never bothered me. Particularly due to my lack of experience with Emerald. I was always obsessed with obtaining that game, but every time I bought a copy of the game online, it would only turn out to be some bootlegged copy that would always corrupt after I turn off the game. It got to a point where I just gave up finding a real copy, and just stuck with Sapphire.
I've been playing this game and not even done and already kind of blown away at how so few talk about this. If this game isn't missing something it's soul. Maybe a battle frontier, but there's a lot more. And even though mega evolutions felt off in Kanto I think they fit into Hoenn a whole lot better. Idk there's a lot more to say, but it's good stuff.
My favorite detail about this game is that Brendan and May actually have different encounter themes depending on if you're playing with the male MC or the female MC.
This is video Is so well done, I feel the passion right through my phone screen. You hit the beauty of the ORAS games right on the head. Thank you for making this
Pokemon Oras is pure definition of masterpiece. This game shows how much love 😚 Pokemon company gave into making it! So detailed, so refine😍. Unlike other remakes which are just old games with updated graphics but THIS!!!!! This game is personification of true remakes. This is how a remake should be full of nostalgia and mystery features for you to explore that make you feel connected to the past and future all together ❤️. I'm a gen 3 fan and I may sound bias but come on look at it in comparison to Pokemon x and y those were completely new games but yet Oras is what truly made gen 6 shine! I think Pokemon company like alot of Pokemon fans are Pokemon gen 3 fans.
It's crazy how I've done multiple playthroughs of omega ruby and I believe it to be the best pokemon game out there, and I didn't even know about some of this stuff. The people that criticize this game clearly haven't put enough time into it.
I love ORAS so much. It was the last Pokémon game that wasn't catered to the casual fans. For context, I was 11 when the game came out, so I don't have the same appreciation as people who grew up with RSE. But the game was just so full of life. I only wish the game had character customisation. That was the biggest addition to X and Y that ORAS completely negated. It made no sense to introduce it only to remove it one game later.
Gen 3 and its Remake will always be my favourite gens. One crotic point from me would be the difficulty and that they always emphasized with red colour in the text where to go....
This game makes full use of the 3ds, I always felt like RPGs did so much with the second screen for the Nintendo DS and the 3DS did the same, the second screen really let you have neat little features like the PokeNav.
my first pokemon game was Emerald, so i was excited for ORAS. i gotta say though that i love ORAS, its a good remake and it felt like i was playing Emerald again...to an extent. i was just so used to getting both stories at the same time that it threw me for a loop when i only had one base to go to and some other minor details i cant remember right now
Gen 3 is where I started and to this day it's my personal favorite gen, and ORAS really is an excellent and underrated remake. I think if only they hadn't omitted the Battle Frontier, it would be considered the best remake in the series.
I love these games! I wish the Pokémon fandom liked them more but “the battle frontier project has started” seems to be the reason why, which is kinda sad honestly because there is so many great things in ORAS like soaring on Latios/Latias or expanding on mega evolution and so many great other things.
I found this video like super randomly, and I thought it was one of those videos with more than 400k views, I'm actually surprised that it doesn't have that much of views, love the video, now I like ORAS a lot more
I got Omega back in November 2014, on the day before release. I got 2 weeks off work for it. I completed it once and only once. I don't dare to start a new game, that save file is too precious.
The algorithm pointed me to this video, I love seeing passionate discussion on Pokémon games! When playing this game the hand holding and easier gameplay didn’t sit right with me. Sadly I didn’t appreciate all the love that went into this game, looking back although it’s not as FULL as HGSS is, but they did a lot to make you feel like you’re playing Ruby/Sapphire but in the modern era. The amount of detail that went into it was great, although there’s a few places where the added details maybe weren’t needed, a lot is great Looking back, ORAS was such an amazing game and when we see what happened with BDSP….. I WISH it was something like ORAS…

Same here
Alright, off to play these games all the way through for the first time...
Hey I just picked it up too! Have fun
@@ThatSavoieDude Enjoy every second of it!
I'm glad you found your way back! Share with a friend!
Had alpha sapphire for 5 years I've only just played through it and it's been amazing.
Its been so long since I've player Alpha sapphire that I forgot about most of theses
There are thousands of details even left OUT of this video, so please share your favorites with me in a comment!
imo, oras was really good. my favorite games remade plus it was mad in gen 6, one of my most favorite gens, because of x and y and now with hoenn games remade, it made me love hoenn and gen 6 more!
The thing in hoen that brings me the most joy is every time I use scratch with my torchic just to have it totter back to me.
@@ameliamiller450 I thought I was the only one to appreciate that! It's like a sublte reminder that torchic is both literally AND metaphorically chicken!
Another detail is soaring has unique music for day and night.
This is SO GREAT! And to put icing on the cake, Alpha Sapphire was my first game!!! You deserve Hoenn Nobelle Prize!!
I am ready for my acceptance speech!!
This is a really good video. I lost my copy of alpha sapphire so sadly I can't really explore anymore, but watching this video made me realize how much I didn't notice in my playthrough.
Go grab another! Rediscover the magic! Thanks!
I really would give anything, and I mean ANYTHING to go back in time and experience Pokémon Sapphire for the first time again. 😢
I have such an emotional attachment to the game as my dad died in December the year it was released and I got it for Xmas that year. I escaped my real life problems in Hoenn.
Never realized how much you can actually do in ORAS. I'm definitely going to replay it this summer!
How was it?
Your enthusiasm and charisma earned you a like and a subscriber 👍🏻
Glad you liked this!!
Who said the original music was better? The remix version of oras are better hands down
@@miguelgcgamer9878
I've heard people
I’m currently playing through OR, and the ease doesn’t just come from the XP share. My Combusken rolls the entire game regardless of type matchup, i literally don’t need any other Pokémon because of how insanely over leveled and powerful all the starters become simply by playing the game
I feel like turning off the exp share makes the difficulty a little more balanced
Right on!
Pokemon ORAS was amazing. It was one of my favorite regions Hoenn getting a proper remake complete with more Mega Evolutions
@@dmillz5501 Thanks D man!!
I think these might genuinely be my favorite pokemon games in general, also the last time we got a true "national dex", I still play these often and probably will continue to do so for a long time!
This game had twice the effort in 1 town than all of gen 8
After all the poketubers making essays about all the bad thing i almost forgot how good the franchise and especially these games are. Thanks for reminding me. (sry for bad english im not a native speaker)
ORAS was my very first pokemon game when i was little. it was so amazing to explore the world, go through all the side quests, and just take in what the game has to offer. ORAS holds a very special place in my heart and is my personal #1 pokemon game. so much love went into this remake and i love it so much. im so glad others appreciate this game as much as i did, even if u didn't play the original Ruby and Sapphire. this video brought back so many memories!! thank you so much (: i might just pick up my 3DS and look at my old save file.
this video radicalized me from being an ORAS defender to an ORAS crusader
thank you so much for making this video.
I loved oras
It was so creative and fun and unique and added a lot of spicy new additions to the story
Literally, my only gripe with ORAS that I can think off the top of my head is they're kinda easy compared to the originals and the lack of Gym Leader rematches, which has become an often recurring thing since Emerald and in recent years has essentially become a staple. Other than that, they're amazing.
That's just modern pokemon in general. There's nothing we can do about it. Now, my biggest gripe with the game is that they got rid of Ginger Shelly.
Hate it when people say games lack “atmosphere” or “soul”
I'm four years late to this video, but I just wanted to say: thank you so, so much for making this
I recently got back into Pokemon after not playing it since I was a child/my early teens. So when it came time to replaying it, I was particularly excited
And I really couldn't believe it. I could go on for hours on how much this game made me feel (there's a lot of positive emotions to say the least LMAO)
But, besides that, I especially want to thank you for this video. This whole video is
ORAS has now become one of my favorite games of all time now. This game seriously means sm, it's so beautiful
i feel your comment so much, can’t agree more!!
This was my second pokemon game, the one that got me into pokemon. Its super nostalgic for me!
They set up so much lore in gen 6 but it seems like that's all but forgotten. Hopefully we'll get a game that goes back to that one day.
How can someone say these games are soulless? The more i play them the more i love them. BEST POKEMON GAMES OF ALL TIME.
ORAS are the best remakes in my opinion, the only criticism i see for these games is the lack of Battle Frontier, which i never even played or cared about.
this video made me so happy. i love everything they put in to this game. i have a fresh save file ready to be played in alpha sapphire and this made me so so excited
You made me think about how much SOUL is in ORAS but now I realize all that soul is held back by the 3DS XL screen. I need a 3DS so bad.
So I bought a 3DS (and an expanded 5000 mAh battery) and I’m loving every minute of my replay in Alpha Sapphire. Looks so sharp. Hoenn but in 3D.
@@comfortablejeans which 3DS?
Absolutely love ORAS and am surprised at the lack of praise they seem to get from fans. This video does a great job at highlighting some overlooked small but brilliant details
It’s cool to witness the narrative shift on this game. It felt like the internet didn’t like it from 2014 to now, and seeing people now say they’re great is a welcome change.
I'd love to see what your pal Kevin thinks of brilliant diamond and shining pearl those things arevthe most soulless things I've ever seen. And that's just an understatement.
This was truly great work.
This video is amazing!!!!! I loved watching it! Keep it up :)
Thanks Matt!!
I'll never forgive Gen 7 for removing the areanav in exchange for a worthless rotom map. (I didn't play gen 8-9 btw)
Woohoo! Thanks!
Oh my gosh I already commented here! Welp my opinion hasn't changed! XD
ORAS was a lot of things but soulless is not one of them
I love these games and i have a lot of nostalgia for them, because Omega Ruby was my first Pokemon game and my most played 3DS game to this day.
This is exceptionally well done and xriminally underrated
Fun Fact: The lack of a Battle Frontier never bothered me.
Truly nothing like it - but many still play including me!
Ever thought of Emulating the game?
I've been playing this game and not even done and already kind of blown away at how so few talk about this. If this game isn't missing something it's soul. Maybe a battle frontier, but there's a lot more. And even though mega evolutions felt off in Kanto I think they fit into Hoenn a whole lot better. Idk there's a lot more to say, but it's good stuff.
Bro, I love your content. Always been a fan of you in any raps I’ve heard, and I’m glad someone is giving these games the love they deserve
My favorite detail about this game is that Brendan and May actually have different encounter themes depending on if you're playing with the male MC or the female MC.
Still the best region in Pokémon. Unova comes close, but Hoenn has always felt like home.
Beautiful essay, Gen 3 remakes are the best Pokémon has ever been, and Alpha Sapphire clears Omega Ruby
Weird that I’m nostalgic for this. 8 years now… what the hell🗿
Awesome video king, thanks a bunch
I think, I should go back and play those games more. I have still a lot to discover!
Thanks you for your video!
It has made nostalgic and excited.
Amazing vid, idk how it got reccomeneded to me. Subbing
Thanks yo!
Great video on my favorite game. Thanks for this!
This video was made with a hella amount of dignity, well done!
Thanks so much!
One crotic point from me would be the difficulty and that they always emphasized with red colour in the text where to go....
man..you deserve WAYY more subs. Incredible video
I went back to this game and discovered I had almost 800 hours on it. They were great
This game makes full use of the 3ds, I always felt like RPGs did so much with the second screen for the Nintendo DS and the 3DS did the same, the second screen really let you have neat little features like the PokeNav.
Dang, these were NOT my favorite remakes but you have me looking at them in a whole new light. Thanks for your passion in this project!
my first pokemon game was Emerald, so i was excited for ORAS. i gotta say though that i love ORAS, its a good remake and it felt like i was playing Emerald again...to an extent. i was just so used to getting both stories at the same time that it threw me for a loop when i only had one base to go to and some other minor details i cant remember right now
Omg i found this in my old 3ds i have never once played this but still owned it for like 6 yrs
I'd say compared to heartgold/soulsilver oras wasn't up to par
Gen 3 is where I started and to this day it's my personal favorite gen, and ORAS really is an excellent and underrated remake. I think if only they hadn't omitted the Battle Frontier, it would be considered the best remake in the series.
I love these games! I wish the Pokémon fandom liked them more but “the battle frontier project has started” seems to be the reason why, which is kinda sad honestly because there is so many great things in ORAS like soaring on Latios/Latias or expanding on mega evolution and so many great other things.
These game are like black and white, hated at first but loved later down the line
I found this video like super randomly, and I thought it was one of those videos with more than 400k views, I'm actually surprised that it doesn't have that much of views, love the video, now I like ORAS a lot more
My heart! Thank you!
This was recommended to me and these are my favorite Pokémon games :)
Me too!
I got Omega back in November 2014, on the day before release. I got 2 weeks off work for it. I completed it once and only once. I don't dare to start a new game, that save file is too precious.
You took 2 weeks off work to play a game?
The algorithm pointed me to this video, I love seeing passionate discussion on Pokémon games!
When playing this game the hand holding and easier gameplay didn’t sit right with me. Sadly I didn’t appreciate all the love that went into this game, looking back although it’s not as FULL as HGSS is, but they did a lot to make you feel like you’re playing Ruby/Sapphire but in the modern era. The amount of detail that went into it was great, although there’s a few places where the added details maybe weren’t needed, a lot is great
Looking back, ORAS was such an amazing game and when we see what happened with BDSP….. I WISH it was something like ORAS…
