Saw this movie in theaters when it came out, and fell in love with it. This theme played a big role in having me enjoy this movie to the fullest. Thank-you Michael Giacchino for such a soundtrack, now recognized as one of the best Pixar soundtracks to date!

Not to be pedantic, but major keys are also minor keys.
I love how the song actually represents a married life, at the first part of the song, everything is happy and energetic, and through the song the piano goes through some rough chords along the way, and at the end, everything goes slow and sad, representing the married life is almost over. And then, end.

Animation, like anything requires dedication. The more dedication and experience you have, the better you get. It also helps to have a natural nack for drawing and movement. I'm no master at it, but I can make a living doing it. :)

At the time the movie was made, yes, Disney and Pixar were partners.
That's not the case now...
Pixar and Disney had a falling out, and Disney holds the rights to all the Disney/Pixar collaborations, like Up, Toy Story, and The Incredibles.
I believe its because Disney started Disney Animation Studios and tried to merge Pixar with it, so they could control the company, and Pixar didn't like that.
Pixar are now flying solo and making their own movies, and with Brad Bird working on them, they should be just as good as what they made under Disney.
marklenthecool You're thinking the other way around. The friction between Disney and Pixar occurred back during the production of Toy Story 2 (1999). Back when Eisner still headed Disney and Steve Jobs was Chairman of Pixar. Eisner didn't like the way production was going with TS2 and made an already stressful situation worse. The two companies butted heads often. It wasn't till 2004 after a change of CEOs that things became friendly between the companies. Disney purchased Pixar on 2006 for 7.4B but Pixar still is considered a separate entity from Disney.

Everytime I hear this, I remember my 6 months old dog that died. He was such a happy puppy until he got sick and I couldn't afford to pay a vet to take care of him. He died in my family's arms. Now I can't listen to this without crying. Fucking hell.
Tbh, if you can't afford a vet you shouldn't have gotten a dog.
