Venom looks awesome and looks actually pretty fun to play. His voice is....meh....I might get used to it idk but maybe they could modify it to be deeper? He’s definitely the highlight of this dlc no doubt about it though

You'll have to forgive me, but after that whole "Fans love characters for their functions" PR, I tend to see the characters in MvC:I and by extension Street Fighter V as fighting game move sets and functions put to character models. Again Venom's voice not withstanding(I think it's clear that I don't care for it...) You get a feel for who he is as a character from what he says in connections to what he does while fighting. But it's not just him as Capcom fighting game characters have been like that in the mid to late 90s starting with the Street Fighter Alpha games and X-men Children Of The Atom, where their personalities are reflected by in game quips, victory quotes, and in game endings... So why the sudden emphasis on functions I'll never kn--- Oh right the FGC...-_- Also I forgot as between Venom, Black Widow, and Winter Soldier, Venom's move set in this trailer looks the most unique(despite being from his MvC1 and 2 movesets)...

Bucky was a surprise on how he actually had me hype for a change, his moveset is half-Chris and half-Cap with a much more up-close to air-combo focus than I initially thought. Venom is literally Filia from Skullgirls, almost his entire moveset is solely dependent on it. The ranged web-grappling and very few rushdown moves he has differentiates him, but that's it. Also, Todd Haberkorn voicing Venom???? Really???? Black Widow is a conflicting sight to say the least. Her moves remind me significantly of Decapre from SFIV, the bullet punches are somewhat Deadshot-ish from Injustice 2, and seems to be very close-range. From her build, it seems that she's a combo-heavy low-stamina character that, from my honest suspicion, doesn't do a lot of damage on her own. The Time Stone is honestly the best bet for her, dealing more damage fast as you tag in a heavier character. Overall, it's pretty underwhelming for some of this. Bucky is the surprise standout of the DLC, Venom being second and Black Widow being third. Overall, I just hope we get more Capcom characters next pack, it's really warranted at this point.

I don't think Venom's voice is terrible. It's not my FIRST choice in voicing but I can get used to it. I also can't help but feel that Black Widow was a wasted character slot. Could've been another Capcom character but it's another Marvel character with a generic moveset.
If they were focused on putting mcu characters in they should've put: Ant Man Vision Quicksilver Scarlet Witch Falcon Loki Instead of venom, dormammu and ghost rider
Even without the X-Men, Marvel does have more interesting characters than the one's chosen for this game, like Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl would make for a better choice to play as than Black Widow.
CAPCOM- Fix that Venom voice. Atrocious. It sounds like an amateur studio did the voice recording for that. You fixed Chun-Li's face now go fix that voice ASAP.
Venom sounds awful, winter soldier doesnt look like he should be in this game, and widow is the only one who looks ok but still boring at the same time. Also its really annoying how last time we got 2 capcom chars and 1 marvel but this time were getting just 3 marvels the roster isnt going to be symetrical. lastly i bet the stage gives us a sneek peek at future chars like iron fist on the bilboard fighting Ken, an umbrella corp billboard, and the two statues the knocked over one kinda looks like luke cage maybe and i dont have any clue who the standing one i wanna say Beast but its not beast.
This is trash only two dlcs? And they are characters that should of been in the game to begin with. They need to watch how netherrealms handles dlcs and follow suit.
