- SONY now has a ton of strong exclusive games on the PlayStation, and should consider making their own platform fighting game... again! (yes, they have done it before, and I will discuss it) So, here is my pitch for a new SONY Platform Fighter!

That would be such a good way to use him. He is basically Sony's Kirby in the way he can represent other franchises and is just a cute lil guy

I played that game so much growing up! Idk why he trashes the power level system - it was a good way to make it more skill based than the "spam knockout moves" that plague smash, and created unique playstyles where, if you mastered a specific level of power for a specific character, you could really make them shine. It wasn't "overcomplicated" like he says, I was in elementary school and I understood it just fine. Such a good game- I still go back and watch the opening cutscene sometimes for nostalgia.
A few times a year I Always grab my PS Vita and play a few rounds against bots just to make my inner child happy again

@Mirage475 Did you ever play the game? Getting a super doesn't garuntee a win. Theres opponents who also have supers, so clearly thats not how it worked. There were move combos to learn to build up charge, you could block and dodge, and item pickups could be used to drain charge from opponents or give a leg up. The power level in particular was really unique- people who actually played and learned their characters know that it wasn't always most efficient to go for level three- some characters did better just using a level 1 or 2 multiple times, depending on the mode, map, and character. Raiden for example had a really solid Llv 1 that in team mode could be more efficient using it 3 times than getting to lvl 3 once, if you had the skill to land it. Hope this helps you understand how the game works a bit more - macro doesn't cover the game mechanics in depth though so I understand your confusion from just watching the video alone.

Someone must find a perfect VA for him, so he will return... Now, he's different, same VA in Blood Vengeance movie, and additional story (trying to copy ideas from MK11 and MK1) of the aftermath of the main story, connecting the Heihachi returns...

We'd literally get bloodborne in a fighting game before a PC port

The PC PS4 emulator runs Bloodborne really good, it's probably gunna be better than the PS4 version before Sony ports it to PC
We got the hunter and Lady Maria in Astro Bot before Bloodborne PC.
A mobile fighting game called vita fighters has a hunter as a playable character ots really well made
If All Stars 2 started their DLC characters, It would be interesting to see:
*Miles Morales's Spiderman (Isomniac Spiderman)
*Ateus (GOW Ragnarok)
*Connor (Detroit Become Human)
I honestly believe that Dante and Vergil should be in here, as DMC 1-4 were exclusive to Playstation before DMC 5 came out. Plus they'd be fun additions, and yes, Vergil WILL be lore accurate.

The Roster's great honestly, but I would also want a few other characters in there too, like Selene from Returnal (Absolute banger of a game) and the Helldivers, I really do hope Sony do make this a real thing

Still scratches my head why Sony wasted $400M on Concord instead of focusing on a potential mass-crossover fighting game.
I think a more underrated one would be one of the FNAF characters from the Steel Wool Studios games as SB was a PS exclusive for a bit, and FNAF is a huge franchise that is still going strong to this day
could easily do all of the OG animatronics in 1 character and make them change names like Steve in smash

I truly think that an original Skylanders character could work for this game concept, maybe be Trigger Happy, Tree Rex, or a Wash Buckler/Blast Zone (from swap force) combo character could work.

You could replace Spyro with Wander, his long range would be his bow and his close range would obviously be the ancient sword. His moveset would be standard from his game, including rolling around, using Agro for making space, his explosive bow from the PS4/PS5 remake, ect. For his recovery he'd eat a lizard, his stage would be one of the Colossi arenas or inside of the castle. He could stab the ground, rising up a shadowy figure and sending them to fight for a moment before leaving, which could be prevented by a character hitting the figure.

I'd love to see Delsin or Fetch in a game like that. You did include Cole and he's arguably more iconic but in my opinion, Second Son/First Light are both great games with amazing potential for both of their move sets and also, they kind of shaped the early PS4 era before the big hitters like Spider-Man, DBH and Ghost of Tsushima came out.

I do agree with adding Fetch, she could be a very fast hybrid character in between range and melee, but be slightly weak on both fronts.

Master Hero Soccer Guy could make a Smash-like game with any companies IP, let’s be real about that. Although it would probably take some convincing since he probably wouldn’t wanna abandon his pink puffball of a son.
Aloy's arena should be the Sunring in the Shadow Carja capital from HZD, inside a cauldron (tho i think that's kinda small) or at the Far Zenith base

Honestly, I don’t think Ellie would fit in the game, I was honestly thinking of a clicker more because Ellie’s character is too dark for the game and too bland to have an interesting move set. A looting gimmick is cool but the clicker just works better as a fighter.

This might be a weird pick but a character I’d love to see is Noire from Neptunia, it’ll give us a character that goes for an anime art style because besides maybe Kat, we don’t have one, the Neptunia series was PlayStation exclusive for the time and in Neptunia, she’s the CPU (A goddess that represents game companies with consoles) that represents Sony and the PS3

Microsoft could be interesting, they have minimal personal IP but they have deals with countless game companies for gamepass and I'm sure you could use the games they bought out to fill out a roster that could even have variety to rival Nintendo ips

Nasb 2 and rivals are the only platform fighters (that I know of) that have actually evolved the formula of smash and not make it worse.
Remove Horizon zero dawn and the last of us and replace them with Riden (because Snake is already in smash) and Dante (But from the better DMC5) because no way you said DMC has little to do with Play Station when the original was one of the best games for the PS2 and don't get me started on DMC3. And I know we already have a character from Kojima but not bringing an obvious good choice for a sword fighter like Riden is just dumb. But I mostly agree with the rest of the chosen rooster, always happy to see Bloodborne.
