One of the many problems with the sound design in this game is that a line of dialogue *has* to fill in any possibility of silence when an attack is made. It comes of as awkward, in my opinion. Whereas if they chopped off one of the three short lines during a level 3 Hyper, it could sound a lot better.
and his voice sucks.......they should do a dual voice like its brock and the simbiont talking

Same happened to Spencer...I feel like at this point Smash Bros. is the only fighting game (I know of) that doesn’t just flip the character models around, but will fully alter the movements on the opposite side to keep authenticity.

For crying out loud, they finally add my favorite character back in the series and they don't give the deep voice he has had from past games and TV shows. I was thinking about getting the game until I turned the audio on and heard his voice. A few good voices for Venom would be:

Absolutely love how Venom turned out. I can understand how people can feel about his voice though. Winter solider is fine. He seems interesting enough where I think he would work in the versus lineup. Black Widow on the other hand.....You can tell capcom had no clue what to do with her. What annoys me most about her is that she took up a character slot that could have been used for someone else.
Must had been on the requirements set by Marvel, I don't think anyone wanted her.

Coronova Well in terms of characters with guns in this game you have Rocket, Gamora, Chris, Dante, and now winter soldier. To a lot of people thats a bit too much with a starting roster thats lackluster. Variety in move set and playstyle is what people are looking for too. The inclusion of vemon was much needed since he seems to have a very interesting move set and playstlye. Hopefully the next pack is a bit interesting.
Venom sounds like M.O.D.O.K., which clearly doesn't fit at all in my opinion.

There really was no need for Winter Solider , he is basically just Marvels Answer to Chris Redfield - Strength and Weapons.....and now that they have added Black Widow I have a feeling I wont be getting my Regina from Dino Crisis even though she was rumored to be in , Venom looks good but the voice sounds a tad off ( to me ). So DLC wise I have not been wowed yet. Id be "wowed if I saw , Regina from Dino Crisis , Edward Falcon from Power Stone , Asura from Asuras Wrath , Gene from God Hand , Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers , Nina and Fou-Lu from Breath of Fire , Scarlet Witch , Blackcat , The Enchantress , Tigra , Captain Commando , Jin from Cyberbots , Jill Valentine Revelations outfit with OOZE summons instead of Zombies , Ustanak from RE6 , And if X-men do get added one day via DLC I would of liked Psylocke the most.

If you can't use X-Men and Fantastic Four you miss the best characters for a fighting game, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Reed Richards, Doctor Doom... all of them are better characters than Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'll be honest, Venom is the only worthwhile character in here. Yeah his voice sucks and he does recycle a lot from mvc2, but his animations are fun to watch and the character looks very fun to play, good on you developers! But the other 2 are just really generic and uninspired. Black widow's model is fine, but she and Winter soldier just exist as the generic "person with guns" we've been seeing. All Winter Soldier has going for him is his super armor, but the rest of his moveset makes him nothing more than "Chris with armor". I hope that if we get a season 2 pack, we don't get so many gun characters. No star lord, no punisher, nothing.
