SuperSpyroX1795 Switch will eventually get Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 from what Capcom told about Switch for a month ago. Make Switch titles that will differ from PS4/Xbox One titles.
Niitsuma is not even in charge of MvCi but he could be in charge of TvC2. Nintendo is still a company that needs to cater to kids and families because their competitors ignores that audience with entertainment for grown ups.

Sammyv17 Reboot seems to be the trend for Capcom lately after they restructured into three internal divisions last year.
We don't know yet if this is from Division 1 or Division 2 (same as SFV). But a in-house team has been working on MvCi for a long time now. From what I have heard this started right after SFV was announced. Capcom already had restructuring in planning for 2015.
RE7 could be considered as soft reboot too. They were planning to reboot Onimusha early this year and Motohide Eshiro wants to be in charge of this project since he ended Ace Attorney 6 as producer. He directed Onimusha 2 Samurai's Destiny for PS2 and would now like to return to entertainment for grown ups.
Another reboot but that has been in development since end of last year. New animator, technical animator, level designer, lighting artist, concept artist, effect designer (VFX designer), character designer, 3DCG character modeller, project manager (producer) were Capcom looking for this unspecified PS4 title. Some source from this year is saying Monster Hunter is getting rebooted for the global audience on PS4 and classic MH will remain on Switch for Japanese market to resurrect Portable series headed by MH team. The reboot is developed by a new team to make it play different.
Devil May Cry 5 is said to be revealed next year at either E3 or TGS. Capcom wanted to prioritize marketing for RE7, SFV and MvCi.
I want to see Capcom make a 2D Mega Man X with this graphics. Even games like Final Fight needs a reboot from a in-house team. I would also love to see Dino Crisis making a comeback.
+H.Brandt if they're gonna reboot it , then the name Megaman X9 won't fit, or at least we need to know what happened after the trio came from the space elevator and what happened to Axel, also rebooting the game would destroy many hearts here........

CairoGamer If we'll ever get MMX9 it would be from Division 2. The most Japanese centric division is too busy with Monster Hunter and Ace Attorney on portable and Mega Man X9 would honestly sell more in the West on PS4, Xbox One and Steam. Japan is a lost cause in the mobile heydays.
Monster Hunter will be a interesting change. They were looking for a new animator, technical animator, level designer, concept artist, lighting artist, effect designer (VFX designer), character designer, 3DCG character modeller and a project manager (producer) for an unspecified PS4 title last year. One of those who worked on MH4, MH4G and MHX as VFX designer joined this team. In the past he has worked on Onimusha 1, 2, 3 for PS2 and Lost Planet 1 and 2 for 360/PS3 as VFX designer.
If Capcom can really make a good mature story I will be very open to MH. The animation is really stiff in the previous games so they have to fix many flaws for this to become a global juggernaut IP. And a new character designer brings me hope for central characters.
I talked to a Nintendo fangirl yesterday and she has played MH but couldn't get into the games like myself. She thought they were lacking a story and character customization didn't do anything special for her. Capcom talked about to expand MH beyond handhelds in the West and to do that they have to make games that appeals to that audience. That rumour to split up the portable and home console audience might be true. We'll get the classic MH on portable and a different experience on home console. Maybe this will open up for Capcom to increase their roster of memorable characters in their fighting games.
Right now you can't put in any character from MH or DD because the games are based on character customization. But if Capcom is working on a story driven MH they may add those as DLC characters in the future.
Finally my boy X is getting in on the action, definitely can't wait to play as him!!!

MvC2 was 3 v 3, and that game is a blast to play.
I never said I didn't like 3v3, I just enjoy the concept of a duo of heroes and a change of pace.
2v2 I think is better, 3v3 WAS CRAZY FUN, but sometimes it was unbalanced, especially having to worry about Having 2 other Assists, when I could really just Worry about 1 assist
Just bring back Zero, Vergil, Dante, and Hayato and I'll be happy.

xRedRaven96 nah, it's cool. I'm just going by the supposedly leak that they're mainly focusing on characters from the MCU and not anybody from X-Men and Fantastic Four because of the deal with Fox and other companies who own the rights to certain other characters. Deadpool is cool but if the leaks are true, I'd be happy if they replace him with her since Marvel has full rights to her (to the best of my knowledge anyways) and she'd probably be just as funny and play a little bit like him while also being unique in her own way. Hopefully I wish the rumors are true just to change the character list to differentiate it from the other games, to stop being a little complacent, and giving other characters that aren't really recognize a chance to shine

Actually, the Battle Network anime already provides logic for that. There was some sort of Full Synchro thing they could do that allowed the operator to manifest their NetNavi in the real world by combining with it.
Though if we're talking Mega Man characters from different sub-series, I'd pick Roll.EXE over MegaMan.EXE, simply because you don't need to add a character whose basic abilities are a near complete duplicate of X's (even if things like Sword, Bomb, and Vulcan chips would make the majority of his fighting style completely different in practice).
***** but that's the thing. Both exe and StarForce naturally generate their weapons based off of the cards used / eaten. They can basically be a multi stance character especially since StarForce and EXE can turn their arms into a variety of different weapons as well as summon datamasters (you could say their own version of the robot master)

exe wouldn't really need to be a stance character outside of DoubleSoul/Cross System if you wanted to include that mechanic. His specials would mostly consist of him using various chip attacks instead. His supers/hypers would probably be various Program Advances + Battle Network 6's Beast Out mechanic.

Nobody has spoken about how there is more of a tag element in this game. All of the MVC games have a switch feature, but this is like Tekken Tag where you can tag someone in mid combo. So far this is looking good.

Oro por eso, si es que esto es un "reboot" en varios términos como dicen. La razón por la cual no quisieron incluir a Venom en la entrega anterior, era porque los de Marvel permitían el uso del Venom de ahora (Flash Tompson), es decir, el Agente Venom. Los personajes debían pertenecer a la línea de tiempo actual. Sin embargo, ahora que esta historia, según se dice, es un reinicio PUEDE que lo veamos de vuelta. Al menos espero que introduzcan a otros simbiotes como a AntiVenom o Carnage.
Por fin se hizo justicia y metieron a X en el juego, esperemos que también metan al Mega man clasico o a Zero.
