Feels so wrong seeing that extra Marvel character on the Capcom side
Yah, it's so wrong
That's because it used to be the other way around in MvC1, where Capcom had an extra (Zangief) that took up Marvel's side.
But it makes more sense than their being two Wolverines on MvC2's roster.
Should have kept phoenix Wright imo
They should have had Virgil instead

This is no joke one of the most flavorless character rosters I've ever seen in a fighting game
You look at Tatsunoko v Capcom or Ultimate MVC3 and you got a large variety f newcomers, fan favorites and wild card characters those games felt ambitious but here it feels there were a lot of really safe and kind of placid choices, ESPECIALLY on Marvel's side. Obviously the Fox/Sony licensing nonsense really hampered this game
Oh yeah and then the stupid spacing on the bottom
TvC was much worse at roster representation compared to Ultimate MvC3.
Nobody asked Capcom for a crossover with Tatsunoko, except Japan!
The crossover that everyone truly wanted was J-Stars vs. Capcom; just so the Street Fighter icons can finally team up with the Dragon Ball Z icons, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure icons, and the Fist of the North Star icons.

There's just characters from the Disney Marvel movies (Except Ghost Rider) and they removed many of my faves like Deadpool, Vergil and Viewtiful Joe. I'm sure this game is entertaining but I kinda feel 3 is more for my taste
Edit: At least they included my girlfriend Morrigan, but I still miss all of the others
We need a fully Marvel fighting game, Marvel's version of Injustice that includes basic all from Avengers (heroes and villains), X-men, Fantastic Four and Spider-Man
They really removing more characters in this game just to make huge cutscenes, eh?

Everyone else in mvci Including:
Capcom:
Leon Kennedy, Nero, lady, Lilith, chuck green, captain commando, M. Bison, osmund saddler, Nelo Angelo
Marvel: Wolverine, cyclops, blade, Dr. doom, magneto, juggernaut, Deadpool, she-hulk
How you gonna remove Phoenix Wright and Viewtiful Joe?? But then they add characters like winter soldier . Monster hunter was a cool addition I guess
They should've used one of those or someone like Asura, Vergil, Leon, etc. Anyone but a fucking marvel character taking up a capcom slot

It was a huge stepdown from UMVC3 for a lot of long time fans, it felt somewhat cheap from its trailers, and the BS statements like "No one remembers The X-Men".

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 both have the best character rosters ever. But Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite's character roster is horrible.

Worst roster choices:
· Monster Hunter (is simply there to promote the franchise.)
· Rocket Racoon (who thought that was a good idea? Honestly.)
I’d say characters like Black Widow and Winter soldier sre way worse since they are as basic as you can get in regards to moveset. Also Rocket was in a previous game already but now they added groot to the mix.

The reason why I'm holding my tongue about Black Widow & Hawkeye is because they're both no different than the MvC3 roster members from Resident Evil 5,
Black Widow's moves actually make more sense than Jill Valentine's.

There's no X-Men because the devs thought Captain Marvel is more well known.

It’s a good game, but compared at the others…. This roster is sh*t
It's a pretty crappy lists of characters for a great fighting game franchise. And this included the DLC characters which makes it even worse. I'd expect more characters from Darkstalkers or the X-Men characters.
