I fixed mine this weekend. I had the motor out in 40 mins going in via the boot. I really didnt want to take the hood off but uts good to see both methods for reference 👍🏼
Thanks. The parcel tray lid switch I took apart and just reassembled as I tweaked it putting the tray back in. The actual problem the hydraulic lift cylinder leaking I never fixed.:( very expensive. You can research on Google that was a company that rebuilt them or sold rebuilt ones. For now I just gave my her a can of fluid and check the fluid level on it if she uses the top . - I guess this is why I always see Z fours with their top up!
Horrible video to watch this is a classic example of what not to do in this situation you can remove the motor without removing the roof therefore saving you alot of time and frustration

good question thanks, I believe just running the motor with the fill plug loose or off, air was bleeding off there.
