    After being put away for a decade, my gun fired one nail then just blew air out the back. I took apart the head to replace the o-rings but found my whole head-valve-piston cracked into a hundred pieces (the o-rings still looked good). My valve was black and not white like shown in the video. I'm trying to decide to order parts or buy a new one. I think I purchased the gun back in 2005.

    Question again.. what cause the plastic valve head piston to shatter or fall apart.? Part # 180540-s . I have two older craftsman tools and both have the same valve head and both are broken. I have had these same type of older craftsman pneumatic nailers and have never had one fail. Model # 351.181740
