➖ Recipe ➖
Ingredients -
Chicken & Seasoning -
1 Tbsp (20ml) - Olive Oil
650g (1.4lb) - Chicken Thigh, Boneless & Skinless
1 tsp (4g) - Onion Powder
1 tsp (4g) - Garlic Powder
1 tsp (4g) - Smoked Paprika
1 tsp (2g) - Dried Oregano
Pinch of Chilli Flakes (Optional)
Salt and Pepper
Tangy Yogurt Sauce -
2/3 Cup (180g) - Natural Greek Yogurt
2 tsp (10g) - Sriracha Sauce
1 tsp (5ml) - Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp (2g) - Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp (2g) - Sweet Paprika
5g (0.2oz) - Coriander (Cilantro), Roughly Chopped
Salt and Pepper
Tortilla & Fillings -
5-6 - Flour Tortillas, Warmed
2 - Truss Tomatoes, Diced
1/2 - Red Onion, Diced
Cos (Romaine) Lettuce, Chopped & Washed
Salt and Pepper
Method -
Dice the chicken thigh and put it into a bowl. Add in the olive oil and seasoning and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl, add all of the tangy yogurt sauce ingredients and mix well. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Place a pan over high heat, add a splash of olive oil, and sear the seasoned chicken for 8 minutes or until cooked through. You may need to do this in batches to prevent overcrowding and steaming the chicken. Alternatively, this can be done in the oven. See notes below.
To assemble, warm your wraps slightly in a pan or microwave and place them down the sauce. Add the chicken, tomatoes, onion, and lettuce and top with a little more sauce. Wrap tightly with the seam facing down to prevent it from falling apart.
The tortillas can be kept fresh, or if you’d like to toast them, do so in a pan over medium-high with a splash of olive oil and toast to your liking.
Slice the wrap in half and use any remaining tangy yogurt sauce as a dip. Dig in.

Ok Chef Jack, had to come back to update. I made these and a giant hit with my #1 fan ( my son ). He's super picky eater, but he loved it, it was easy, quick and flavorful. This kid already 6'3" at 15 years old , you left a mark on him with this one. Thank you Chef, I was getting worried I be cooking homemade chicken nuggets for life 😂. ❤❤
I personally really like this slower more “live” version of a video! nice to really see the process. Thanks jack🫶
Vanilla yogurt 🤣😝🤦♀️ loved that you were smiling at the camera with the cracked pepper. I think the whisper is better when you aren’t looking directly at the camera. I enjoyed this style of video too. You had a few little giggles in there. This looks really tasty. Might be good for my Monday sandwich night. Thank you Chef Jack.
Haha I know right! I really enjoyed making this video had a lot of fun. Glad to hear you enjoyed the different style. I feel like I can express more of my personality when I’m in front of camera instead of sitting in my office talking over a video.
@@ChefJackOvenstrying out different styles is never a bad thing. The viewers will soon let you know which ones they dont like
@@ChefJackOvens well Chef it was really enjoyable to see more than your hands. Keep mixing it up it’s really great.
@@ChefJackOvens I love my new emoji’s and keep up the fantastic work. So good to see you looking happy in this video

Another fantastic lunch recipe, thank you Chef!
I watched you get to the cracks part and hesitate. So funny! Knew you would not do it as it felt wrong. Had such a good laugh now though. Wrap looks really tasty. Thanks Jack. X
I recently found your channel. I love your recipes because my son wants to cook more and these recipes are much easier to teach him then some of the time consuming recipes with sports and jobs. These are recipes that everyone including the kids will eat thank you for making more relatable recipes
Jack, you are unreal this is an another beautiful dish. Thanks for sharing mate. Have a great weekend.
Great video as always. I love cooking but looking for new and GOOD recipes was always a pain for me. Your recipes are literally all good and what I like to eat. Thanks for another one, will make the wraps soon. Thanks, Jack
This recipe would make a terrific lunch for hubbys lunch box putting the sauce in a small container of course but it looks very appetising. Thanks Chef Jack my husband is going to appreciate you again Jack. 😂😂😂😊
Another bomb recipe thanks man
This is my dream meal , definitely making this !
Thank you, oh I love these type of food.👍👍👍👍
Oh just delicious, thank you
Your's is the best cooking channel on RUclips - you cut through all the shit and get straight down to it . Brilliant tasty recipes, simple and inexpensive ingredients. I did an entire party for 20 people doing just your recipes an I was greatly complemented on the food!
Tried this today! Easy and tasty! Yum! 💯
Great to hear!
I've been making a lot of chicken wraps for my lunches - did think you must have epic wrapping skills to fit all that in! :D Will definitely be giving this cajun sauce a try. Thanks!
Haha, I was thinking the same
I adore your videos and I adore you ❤ you make me hungry
I'm in love with the knife...it cuts so perfectly well, it reminds me i never had a single good cooking knife 😂
Looks delicious and that is a sweet set of knives
Do a book lad. Your direct, simplified style would translate very well to a book.
Top channel mate. Well done.
@@GringoXavier stick around for less than 48 hours. Just a little something something may be popping up 😮💨😏 cheers mate
@@ChefJackOvens nice one bro. I’ll buy it. 100%. Best cooking channel on RUclips. Your marry me chicken has fooled my family into thinking I can actually cook!! Haha.
Also, your openness about your mental health struggles is so brave. I’ve walked that path too brother. I know how hard it is. Keep swinging. 🙏🏼
@GringoXavier legend! Really appreciate it mate. Hope you’re doing well now mate.
@@ChefJackOvens bro. Jesus Christ is my refuge. In whom shall I fear?
Dr Claire weekes method of accepting the anxiety revolutionized my life. I was on my last legs bro but praise God I’m the best I’ve ever been. I’ve got a new found love of cooking too which I never had before and thanks to you I’m getting actually ok at it. Haha.
Looking forward to seeing your channel grow and grow brother. All the best.
@@ChefJackOvens omg are you serious? I’m on it
Made this meal tonight and my wife was impressed. Thank you Chef Jack for the recipe! I love the running inside joke about whispering the Cracked Black Pepper, definitely look forward to its references every video 😂
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed it!
Can you also show you clean your cutting board? :) I forget what you said you used for sanitation, and curious how you wash your board, with it being so big. Obviously don’t have to show the wash but could be nice to see everything involved in the process haha
Looks lovely. Gonna add some pickled 🌶
Looks delicious
Excellent Cooking 🍳🔪👍🌹
Good , Thank you chef 😍
That folding technique still eludes me..but soon soon😊
making that sauce really reminded me of Tim heidecker's pitzmans mustard sauce videos.
I like how you mainly use olive oil for cooking, I've gone right off those seed oils
only use olive oil, butter and lard or coconut now.
Looks fantastic, will definitely cook this this weekend! Do you think it would work making a larger batch of these and then freezing some of them and reheating again on the stove?
You can definitely freeze these
This wraprecipe saved me when my son was a teenager and a constant cooking was required. I forogot i with time and now you reminds me of it.
Thank you!❤
I like this video approach a lot, seeing the whole body, looking in the eyes when talking and so on. Very nice change!
i find tortillas have enough fat in the dough that I don't use any fat to toast, right into the dry pan and it works beautifully, and less greasy as well
You’re not wrong! Dry pan always works great.
Mmmm cajun chicken wraps :D
@0:24: THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
Hey Chef Jack, today ,i felt like you were in a really good space... You were smiling all the time ( like a ray of Sunshine) which i see only when you're enjoying the DIG IN 😅 Really enjoyed this video,i felt like you were talking to me😂 Silly me. As for the recipe, so so delicious and simple like always😋😋...Take care my dear...stay smiling 😍😀
Hey Jack! Am absolutely loving these 20ish minute meals!
I’ve noticed you have Hex Clad pans!
Did you get the whole set under 1k?
They’re so expensive but worth it!
Also, any chance you’ll be doing more outdoor cooking as in maybe pizza oven videos?
I do know it’s Winter here right now 😅
Glad to hear that! Thank you. If I’m being completely honest with you, hexclad sent me all their pans to use. It isn’t a ad or anything they just sent them to me. They are great pans!
More outdoor cooking coming soon. I can’t film outside when it’s raining or heavy winds as my equipment will get damaged. That seems to be the only weather Adelaide is getting right now haha. I don’t have a pizza oven but more big green egg stuff will be on the way soon
As a Sri Lankan I am required to put at least half the bottle of chilli flakes in. Great recipe btw fantastic for food prep. Cheers
That looks fantastic! I'd also add some little slices of cheese, best would be young Gouda - very nice but not overlaying flavour and melting quickly... enjoy! 😋
Very nice! Cheese definitely would be good in these
Delicious mate, my type of grub.
@@jimbryan2271 yeah he is delicious
How long would these last in the fridge if I made a batch of them for my work lunches for the week?
Was absolutely not expecting that vanilla yoghurt comment. That's wild
Oh goodness. When I was 12 my mum left and I stayed with dad and by 14 I was in charge of cooking dinner. I remember shopping for my first yoghurt recipe and had no idea about the different yoghurts from the shop. I asked the lady for vanilla yoghurt. My mind thinking vanilla ice cream is “plain ice cream” so it’s the same with yoghurt 😂 I don’t remember what the dish tastes like but I still remember the mistake 20+ years on and one I never made again. I couldn’t stop laughing when he said that. I’ve been there lol
@@My-22-Cents That's hilarious. I didn't have to do cooking but I did have to buy all the groceries and I remember buying vanilla yoghurt too when I was like 14. Thankfully my mum saw it before she used it for cooking though lol
Do you have a printable recipe for this? Looks delish!
Chaf! What kind of brand do you use for knife?
Using vanilla yoghurt sounds pretty funny 😅
Try the recipe very good for quick lunch👍👍👍👍
Delicious 😋
Thank you 😋
I enjoyed the video. It seems like a very useful recipe for me. How many calories are in one?
Im someone who really doesn't get on with tomatoes, what do you think would be a good substitute for them?
Looks amazing. Would love to see your take on Omurice?
I’ll get practicing! I love omurice
Hi!! How long will these hold up in the fridge or freezer?
Few months
What kind of pan (brand/model) did you use to cook the chicken and sear the wrap?
Yummy
I have a pack of tortillas in my fridge, so I am going to make this perfect recipe
Delicious. In Mexico we call it "burritos". An there are many styles filling inside.
He did say it’s wrapped like a burrito. 🙄 If he named the title “burrito “, he would have multiple Mexicans criticizing and tearing him down, saying this is NOT an “authentic “ burrito. He called it a wrap because it has ingredients that are not normally used in a traditional Mexican burrito. He did a good job claiming it’s a wrap that he rolled into a burrito. You can’t win with some of you viewers today! 🙄🤷🏾♀️
@@ArmyVetlady-m6k Nop, I said delicious, and I never criticized. And I saw him called "wrapped like burritos". Just wanted to add the many styles of burritos in México.🙄
Another good clip although any excuse to not whipser
❤
What are and where did you get your oil dispenser?
can I use sour cream instead of Greek yogurt?
Wow ❤ zabardast you are the besttttt. i live in malaysia and have started a cooking channel about pakistani dishes. Wish me luck ❤❤
Vanilla yoghurt 😂 next someone will ask if a Muller Corner would do!
♥
Vanilla yoghurt? That's just nasty 😂 Love the recipe
nice knives
Does anyone know the macros for this?
Ummmm yummy 😋
Vanilla yogurt like why would anyone ? Lol
Haha we all make mistakes
I'm trying to diet bro, f**k sake 😭
Greek Yogurt pfff.. amateur 😂 i always use chocolate mousse 😂😂😂😂
@@iDymff haha 😜
0:29 Did you cut your finger?
Not that I’m aware of lol
@@ChefJackOvens I think it's the red onion. Nice recipe!
that is a lot of salt and pepper, almost every step had it
When you cook, you season as you because flavours develop throughout the cooking process. Salt Is always to your taste though. Just because I added something, doesn't mean you need to.
@@ChefJackOvens Kind sir, I appreciate the reply but do not take that as a bad comment. I personally like food without salt. Your videos are great!
@@Lucas-vd2gx not at all. I’m just explaining the reasoning behind it 🙌
