Apparently from what I’ve heard, 6 songs were actually filmed.
The unity of Peter Hook and Stephen Morris ..... Colony and New Dawn Fades are still far and away , and ahead , of any other group at that period of 78-80.,,,,..,.

great, but still a halftone too fast. digital starts with d sharp instead of d, colony with a sharp instead of a and ndf with f instead of e. it is definitely too fast.

....& a book claimed back in 1984/86 by mark johnson that they had to alter/manipulate ians voice to make it deeper,more baritone! Milli Vanilli-ing Ian before milli vanilli !!! The live recordings clearly show that there was no necessity nor technical gadgets to do so. The book was OK at the time but that section of it was dumb-founding,to say the least.if proof were given,different story but it was just a weird claim,written like a paul morley poem.
Absolutely wrong.. Without foundation etc. Not such a good book on JD.

i remember the statement from his book, the band played in higher notes with Ian singing, then Hannett slowed the track down to give it a lower end, may of happened ? Hannett did like to experiment didnt he?
