Toni singing and playing "Buckets of Rain" from the back of a van! We spent a couple weeks hiking around the beautiful mountains and trees of Alaska in September and playing some music in good old mother Nature. This was one of the on-the-go sort of videos we shot. I heard Toni working out this Bob Dylan finger-picking pattern in the van while I was reading my book up in front, and it sounded so amazing, so I asked her if she would play it again once through with the camera rolling. I hope you enjoy this performance by Toni as much as I enjoyed filming it!

Something I will never understand about audio engineering is how irrelevant a NASA Mission Control of technology is to the finished article. These guys (Toni, Reina, Carson, Josh and friends) put a 10 year old Zoom H2 recording mic in the middle of a forest clearing, or indeed on a railroad track, and let the magic happen.
Of course it helps to be insanely talented.

My favorite Dylan song and version brings joy and some tears.
This was an honest, respectful, and competent performance. Too many singers these days tart up songs for some reason. This was a great rendition of one of my favorite songs.

They are paints any artist can work with.
I listened to all the buckets of rain I coud find on you tube, included the version of Bob himself.
But after all… your version is really the best. You played that guitar as I can only played in my dreams. And your voice and personality give this song exactly the warmth that it needs.

Been a Dylan fan for over 50 years. Never payed much attention to this one, until now. Toni makes this a whole new song. So very soulful and guitar work well beyond Dylan’s capacity. Not disrespecting my favorite Nobel Prize winner but appreciating the prize that Toni is.
Its on Blood on the Tracks. A great album. Poetry in song, is what makes Bob the best living song writer IMHO.

The more I listen to this, the more I get the feeling that Toni knows EXACTLY what the lyrics is about. She sings it as her own words. That gives a huge extra quality to the performance.
Like what often happens with RDC' s covers of other iconic songs , the amazing Toni Lindgren has made this wonderful Bob Dylan song completely new for me on this drizzly , grey Sunday afternoon in NYC. Notwithstanding the weather Toni's great finger- picking and beautiful singing has brought warm thoughts and joy to me from thousands of miles away.

Wow. I've turned so many I know on to Toni and Reina, as well as Josh and Carson. The 4 together are incredible. But each is worth a listen. When I describe Toni, I say gifted musically, in about every instrument she touches. She started singing, allowing to be recorded and disseminated, which was great to see, and she's always been good, but she has also improved greatly, at singing. So much more confidence now singing. It's a good thing thing
