Like a Rolling Stone are the best song of rock music; Blood on the tracks are one of the best three album of the rock music, the first are "Blonde on Blonde", the second "Astral Weeks" by Van Morrison, and the third "Blood on the Tracks". Best Good Life goes everyone.
I love Bob Dylan. He is a hero of the human condition. He "saved"me with his words when I was but a young teenaged girl struggling to understand the world we live in. All these 50 years later I fear the world is mired in squabbles and power struggles between the "elite" that will never end, leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves together however best we can, even as they try to tear is apart. His songs, even this one, maybe especially this one, as personal as it is intended to be, give me the strength to continue living in hope there will be a brighter day for humankind.
You keep goin girl bob and the rest of us are right there with you.... I overheard a girl on a bus saying she'd started listening to Dylan and I was overcome with jealously.
"I like your smile And your fingertips Like the way that you move your hips I like the cool way you look at me Everything about you is bringing me misery". Best stanza ever.
My wife took me with her 16 months ago when she passed away. "Life is sad, life is a bust". I now know that pain and "Buckets of Rain", that so many others know. "All ya can do is do what you must, You do what you must do and ya do it well, I'll do it for you, Honey baby, can't you tell"?

Hi Ian, I’m 65 and remember when the album “Blood on the Tracks,” that contained this song came out. The song is as fresh today as when it written. Great works transcend time. Cheers to you. JT
This feels like Dylan's peace offering at the end of a tumultuous album. I think this is what happens when you're as invested in love and hate and everything in between as Bob was.
I am now 31 years old, and with every more year, it seems I grow more sensitive, to those wonderfully written and sung words by him. How relevant this album has been and supportive it is unbelievable what a master Bob Dylan was at documenting life journeys and experiences and putting it in to song.
I’m in the same club, brother. This album came out in 74-75, my college freshman year. I “played the grooves” out of it” (figuratively) and still have it. A true masterpiece. As you know, another great track from the album is “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome…”. There is a great cover of it by Shawn Colvin. I recommend it. Cheers and good wishes to you…JT

The syncopation is so rhythmic, yet at times off beat, it tends to become a part of who we are when combined with the words. With only six chords and simple lyrics, one would think it rudimentary, however with good picking it develops a depth of complexity, and has small surprises musically and lyrically.
I have listened to this musical word smith weave is magical stories for over 50 years. I would relish 50 more. He is the master craftsman of the musical tapestry of my life. This album in my humble opinion is a masterpiece.

Minha cidade tinha 2 lojas pequenas que vendiam vinil. De aniversário, pedi um disco para minha avó. Ela me deu o dinheiro e fui procurar um do Bob Dylan. Encontrei apenas este, por sorte. I'm no Freud, but was it bucketing down with rain at the time by any chance?
It's been popping up in my head for years. I even start singing it when it does. Lol
The syncopation is so rhythmic, yet at times off beat, it tends to become a part of who we are when combined with the words. With only six chords and simple lyrics, one would think it rudimentary, however with good picking it develops a depth of complexity, and has small surprises musically and lyrically.
Sometimes spirit gives us songs in our heads as a message or reminder of them .
Warrior poet in my heart 💉❤✨🔭
I have listened to this musical word smith weave is magical stories for over 50 years. I would relish 50 more. He is the master craftsman of the musical tapestry of my life. This album in my humble opinion is a masterpiece.
The Late Bobby Darin said... “ memories are like’ moonbeams’, we do with then what we will .. Thank you Bob for easing my pain.
Thank you T. M. for the lyrics. .....
Ela me deu o dinheiro e fui procurar um do Bob Dylan. Encontrei apenas este, por sorte. A música que mais gostava era esta, apesar de não compreender a letra, adorei a melodia e sabia que "rain" era chuva.
Thank you Dhani Harrison for introducing this song ...tho im a big fan of bob but listining this one for first time 😘
Why am I not surprised that you learned about this through Dhani H? :)
Wayward OldSoul 🥰
can't tell you how happy i am these all got uploaded, thank you
One of the best songs and albums ever
all the songs in this album are like a compound of dylan's best songs, although this is just a small fraction of it.
One of Dylan's best.
I'm surprised ya listening to Dylan when there's panic on the streets of London, Birmingham, and I wonder to myself
Another powerful album from Bob a product of pain and heartbreak.
a Favorite of mine ~
song of thought. now before and after. not many people know this beautiful song
Just thinking of this song walking through town today. So honest, resigned and beautiful.
What a beautiful song,Brings joy to my heart, during this crisis.
This is the very first bob Dylan song I listened to.
Bob Dylan das Album ist KLASSE
born in 2000 my dad got me into the best music ever made.. dylan, zeppelin, doors etc.. my musical encyclopedia is insane all due to my dead head dad lol..
You are privileged beyond most people(your age and beyond) for being able to appreciate real, great music. Carry the torch, most music today has no magic. World needs it, IMO or it's downhill from here.
dont u think guitar fingerpicking parts or licks are so underrated ?
Somehow the notes ring and are muted at the same time. The bass is also super key. It play around the guitar.
Yes...

@@iansing5278 How does he get this sound? Is it an acoustic with all metal strings instead of nylon or what? It's beautiful, but how do you do that?
I never knew about this Lp and I Love Bob Blow n the wind and Lay Lady Lay but he is the greatest and now at 71 I been going back his music I miss from my psychedelic period ❤this a classic for ever in time it I bless to have his music now in my old age where nothing being recorded now
I remembered hearing this tune from a 2011 Cameron Crowe movie which was We Bought A Zoo.
‘Everything about you is bringing me misery’
Loving what we can’t have is sometimes worse than not having loved at all
Bob was such an enabler for legions of other artists
Masterpiece! Nuff said.
The movie WE BOUGHT A ZOO made me come here. Yes I've listened to Bob but this song is new to me and I'm 65. Tc
I've just listened to this three times in a row, and I'll probably go back for fourths. Nope, not probably, definitely...
If anyone ever taught a course about Bob Dylan, I'd like to hear about it. Should be requirement for sociology at least and anyone interested in a brilliant poet!
Love this song, never paid full attention to it and it is so unfortunate, the song is a gem,the lyrics is so beautiful and it is perfect for me today, a little caress for my soul!
I have been listening to this song since the album was released, and it took me a tragically long time to realize the true genius of it, I guess the simplicity threw me off...
Thanks Bob...
Friends will arise. Friends will disappear.
Beautiful tune
Um dos meus álbuns preferidos
