Hi there guys.....this is the second video i have seen back to back right after your KTM review. I would like to badge your reviews as "super reviews." Well if you ask what's the difference between a review and a super review....i would say presentation to begin with, but also the precise technical info that u guys try to pass on in a limited amount of time speaks of your devotion towards motorcycling. My heartfelt appreciation to you guys for the wonderful job you are doing.
This isn't the 2012 model. The seat and Dash/Speedometer is a giveaway that it is a 2011 or earlier model. That being said, you did a good review of the bike and I found it entertaining and informative. Good Job
That is one hell of a video, fantastic angles and production values. I had the first 650R and loved it. Over the past 38 years I've ridden and owned many motorcycles larger and smaller faster and slower but the 650R remains one of the best bikes on the road for several reasons. Namaste.
This is a good review ... Found this bike 2nd hand (2011) 650r garage kept in 2014 with only 149 miles on it - I love it - Kawasaki provides for the ease of installing a "slip on" exhaust which improves the look, acceleration, and sound... I bought the IXIL aftermarket exhaust - the best look and sound for this bike...
It's largely a subjective thing.... the way it pulls, the powerband and precise delivery, the efficient fuel injection, its nimbleness, and that sound to the rider's ears above say 5,000 is just beautiful. And the seating position is pretty damn fine as well.
same, I take my MSF class next weekend and I have already been to the kawi dealer a few times and sat on this. Very good position and enough power but not sport bike status.
now only one question remaining ......... which part of you tube were u people been for this long time? .... this is some top class review man... u ppl rock ....... nice video and best suited music ... and to say top class video editing..... love it.....
just to let you know, you can buy a kit to restrict the '650r' or er6 which is what its called in Europe. The kit will restrict the bike to 33bhp (the same as the 250r) and once you feel confident enough you can have it taken out and ride the bike with full power. My friend has a 250r and it is physically a very small bike, same problem with the 300r. Hope this helps mate.
You've got a pro video team! Fantastic creation and editing. The reviews are great but the look is world class. Keep up the superb work you're doing...
Review is so wonderful as always, the best best thing in all videos is the editing of the video, and the presentation that inspires me a lot. Both thumbs up to PTR. Expecting a lot from you guys. Cheers to PTR Team. You're doing a great great job.
Your reviews and narration is much better than what I use to follow on auto car. That guy's narrating on auto car was weird, I think he was the editor that's they removed the option of comments. Anyways thank God I found your reviews. Thanks again.
600 ccs are generically termed as supersports nirmal6294. Ninja 650Rs handling cannot be compared to its sporty supersport 600cc inline 4 cylinder counterparts. Thats what the anchor meant. Full blown 1000cc bikes are Superbikes.
I have a 2008 for my first bike. Had it a year now and Im not bored with it yet. Trust me. Im eyeing 1000cc plus fir my next . but fir now. This is plenty.
Thanks for your feedback gopal, the engine roar that you hear on the video are the bikes sound itself :) Inclusion of the onroad price and the mileage is an interesting debate within the PTR team. Most of the team thinks that while the mileage is a crucial parameter, the price has little to do with the bikes abilities which we intend to review. However we do include the price information on the annonations :) For the rest, we will indeed remember :)
Well, there is no lack of sports bike here, considering the type of roads and traffic. This bike does justice. How many sports bike owners have utilized all its power. unless you are somone who head to the track. So no body said its a top end sports bike, he just said it feels like one.
Oh! Well the review is good ,far better than those "cat sitting on the wall" type of reviews which finally do not enlighten anything at all. But there is a room for improvement. First you should allow the engine revving to be heard. second, ride it in the traffic so that road presence could be seen. third. speak about on road price and fuel consumption. review and not the music that should dominate. the basic design of this mode is a touring model ,so that should be told first.
you should NEVER shift your weight onto the handlebars while breaking, unless you WISH to faceplant.. When braking hard, you should grip the tank with your knees and use your core muscles to hold on, not putting weight on the front. Doing so will make the bike swerve and you could easily have the front wheel slip out under you, or you can flip over forwards (which hurts physically and you ego gets bruised).
.. really i will have to say i hav been buffering thru lots n lots of Channel here on U tube exploring all new launches.. but u guys make PTR so much more different n Funn to watch than ol others channels..!! keep doing the same :) and plz also upload review of Honda CBR 250R..& KTM Duke 200 by Bajaj Auto .
They have a LOT more. A 650cc parallel twin making 60-70hp gets laughed at all day when most of the riders I see in the states are on 600cc or 1000cc race replicas, none of which make less than 120hp.
Im torn between betting this bike and a cbr300r went looking for a 300 will not be in showroom until late september, came across this bike in burnt orange and i love it. would like to see the 300 before i decide. I know it will not look any different than a cbr500, so i feel like im leaning on getting the ninja
great review , lots of wonderful angles and action shots.. your english is great and editor did a great job picking shots, sounds, sound track and blended the whole film together to and excellent review.. you might have well set the standard on how to do a review
Nice review! I would like to see more information and experience from the rider's perspective and less on the technical jargon. Also, how about the track review of the same? A comparison with the other bikes in the market will get things more exciting.
i am big kawi fan after doing research. i have owend ninja650se as well as ninja zx6r(supersport). it would disagree with you on brakes. i have driven GSXR600, cbr600f and fz6 out of these 4 kawi had best of everything. i do not think the change in country would change this. i guess you had one of those odd piece.
guys please review ducati monster 795. I would like to hear your views on how practical it is if at all. also how this bike behaves in choc-o-bloc traffic? easy or difficult to manage. I am a patient rider and can follow a car if needed.
Thanks to India's appalling road conditions and traffic density, anything above a 200 is as good as a top end sport bike. Unlike America, in India, most people are paid very low which makes the actual sport bikes nearly inaccessible to them. Even if they can somehow shell out around $10000, they would buy a crap car instead of a descent bike...
hi pd..need ur desperate advise. i wanna go for ninja 650 due to sheer touring bike which i am looking for.. but sadly they dont have AbS and instead have dual disc brakes in front.. can you advise if its as good as ABS as safety for me is topmost priority. please please advise or do u think there is a chance for ABs ninja in future.. Versys is out of my reach in terms of budget.
The 2016 has ABS. I am buying a 16 Ninja 650 w/ABS within the month. November is the meeting and the talk about the 17 models. Apparently nothing will be changed drastically accept for maybe a gear indicator.
JustGoove Apperently for you, everything was changed for 2017 model. From saddle height to overall motorcycle weight to complete body change.Sad pridiction.
This is a really bad review I expected a little more local based info. This bike heats up way too much in even 10 mins of traffic. entering the city after a long highway ride and it gets too hot to handle. The rear suspension (in stock settings) is too hard for a single rider(70 kg) even the smallest bumps seem to throw you off, but with the same settings 2up (2x70kg) the silencer scrapes on most speed breakers. This is all from personal experience as I own one of these

Very solid review, and nice presentation. Thinking about getting this for my first bike, it seems to have great reviews all around.
same, I take my MSF class next weekend and I have already been to the kawi dealer a few times and sat on this. Very good position and enough power but not sport bike status.
Good to know these vlogs are still available👌👌👌 even though the channel is no more active !! July 2020 pandemic hours ....
Awesome video editing and good choice of music.. WIth little effort you guys can become TOPGEAR of bikes ..
Cheers

One of the best reviews that I have seen. Great job.

one of the better reviews I have ever seen for this bike. Keep it up guys! I ride this bike around and it is lots of fun!!!

Do remember to check our new channel aka PowerDrift for more syed ali :)
As of now Triumph has only announced thier lineup for India. The 675 does feature in thier lineup! We would be more than glad to review the bike!
this video makes me proud to be indian!! great video production
Great review and lovely camera work. I have the Kawasaki ER-6N. Which i'm loving. Only passed my test 2 months ago, great first 'big bike'.
south north east and west, PTRchannel is the best. Keep it up. Your rocking review made the bikes gold.

Correction, most of the riders in the States are on HDs.
@turbo311- It is due to be launched in India in a few weeks from now
I'm 18 years old, college going, not going to be able to ride much on the highways, how practical is the ninja 650r in mumbai city?
mother of god the best review video i have seen by indians!!!! man u rockk!!!
seriously i need a job in your firm!!!
SUPERLIKE!!!

It's crazy that in India this is considered a top-end sports bike and in the United States it's a "good beginner bike."
Ive only ridden a 250. When accelerating with a 650 will it pull a wheelie pretty easy?
great review , lots of wonderful angles and action shots.. your english is great and editor did a great job picking shots, sounds, sound track and blended the whole film together to and excellent review.. you might have well set the standard on how to do a review
Ct Pham what do you think now? ☺️
can you change the handle bars in these to like the zx6r ones? their just hideous stick
Top notch, quality review, great work brother
And it isnt sold in India (Yet!)
Very good review, short but detailed....thanks alot. Next up we're waiting for the Duke 200 review :)
great video. thanks buddy
Awesome review! Wanted to check out what all this 650 is about while I am considering a 500 or a 300 and this review is very helpful!
this is the best review for this bike so far in youtube
very nice video. I just sold my 2007 650r for the winter to buy a car. This video made me regret selling the bike.
Guys great work!
I just hope that the 2013 model comes with ABS as standard and color options!
Do you have the redesigned 2012 gen 3 model yet in India? The improvements are impressive.
Is it possible to use this bike as a newcomer to motorcycling?
im thinking about getting a ninja650 or a cb600r or a yami fz6r what do you guys think is the best bike to get .
Nice review! I would like to see more information and experience from the rider's perspective and less on the technical jargon. Also, how about the track review of the same?
A comparison with the other bikes in the market will get things more exciting.
What type of exhaust did he mention?
Am using the blue 🔵 Ninja 650r and it's amazing 😍😍
which exhaust would you replace on the 650R
why just one light works in front?
very good video editing and footage. Impressed!

hi guys,, any news of 2012 650 retailing in India?
guys please review ducati monster 795. I would like to hear your views on how practical it is if at all. also how this bike behaves in choc-o-bloc traffic? easy or difficult to manage. I am a patient rider and can follow a car if needed.
I don't know what part of America you're from but a lot of my buddies here start on 1000s.
No, most riders in the states are not on HD's.
wen is ninja 300 comeing in india ??
thanx for the review kerpal
How is driving 70 kilometres for a cup of tea practical?
he just means to say its that comfortable and fast genius :)
This definitely isnt the 2013 but still awesome, im getting the '13 as my first streets bike, by the way wht frame sliders do u have on tht one.

Great review and honest. Thanks!
Superb as always!!
It is India bro.
Here every thing has a new definiton and meaning.
Wow, amazing video and review.
cos of Speed limitation and no proper roads over here..
even a 200cc bike is overkill for us...
It's obvious that you know this 650R is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u stole this from powerdrift👺👺👺
BIKEMANIAC PK this is powerdrifts' old channel
I have 2019 kawasakie ninja 650 abs breaks great great bike
Celldweller - The Sentinel is the song name
You've found almost everything's bad on this bike but in the last you suggest it! How funny! :P
Yannis Thomas he is reviewing it for indian consumers..we dont have many options to choose from in this category and pricing
Coincidentally it is :)
Not the DOB, but the Year of Birth!
Can we assume that you have seen the Duke video already ;)
Gosh the handlebars look so high. Almost like wings.
Ninja injection 250/300 is still better I think.
650 with two cylinders, is very "cliff hanging".
Indian accent makes English so funny and pleasant to listen ^^
Any thing bigger than a quarter litre would not really be "practical" for city riding!
Registration number: 1982
LOL, Is it owners DOB? :P
nice answer
"Sounds like a tractor" I was looking for an apt description for it :-P
the handle should have bin more down.....
