Just bought this thing. Perfect. Gorgeous. Touch is fabulous, sound is rich and direct. Easy to assemble. Variety of tembres. 3 pedals. You buy it, you plug it, you happy. Do not hesitate. If you were after this piano, purchase it and stop comparing it to other pianos. There will always be better instrument with better features. If you want a good instrument, you buy this Casio.

I'm considering to get this digital piano as my first ever piano. After doing a lot of research online, I think this model is the most affordable and the "best" for its price point. Does anyone have this model at home or has anyone ever tried it? If so, how did it feel and how was the sound?

I will let you know, ordered mine and it’s arriving today, I’m a self taught pianist but I’m very experienced and I can let you know most things about the piano, from the hammer action to the individual key feel to the sound!

About splitting the keyboard in two instruments (3:38) it's not true: it can be done only by selecting Bass as instrument, because this particular instrument works only on the lower part of the keyboard, leaving the previous instrument on the higher part. Plese correct me if it's possible to select, e.g. Piano (or any other instrument except Bass) in the lower part and organ (or any other instrument except Bass) at the higher part.

I had the opportunity to try out the kawai, and it was awsome. Sadly i couldn't try this one out, but as i read about it, it has almost the same hammer/key action.
