Hello, I recently bought a standard usb-a cable and plugged it in to my casio celviano ap-470 and laptop to play using MIDI. It doesn't seem to work out, the device is not detected or anything. Is there a toggle or setting where you have to enable MIDI, is the cable faulty or could there be a missing bios driver on my laptop?
Okay nevermind, I just found out it has a USB-b interface. -_-

It can transpose for sure. I played on one a week ago and it was a half step off. I couldn't figure put how to fix it though. I was hoping this would show how! 😩
@@RhondaChalonemusic if you hold function, midi rec, and power it should reset
I figured it out using the manual and went back to the center and fixed it for them. Hold down function and then press F5 or F#5 to bring the pitch down or up a 1/2 step. To do more press again...etc

I purchased a Casio ap470 in December 2022. It stopped working 9 months later. I bought it from Sweetwater. They told me that I would have to pay to have it shipped back to them. I can not afford to ship it back so I am stuck with a piece of junk. Don't buy one. They are no good.
