I’m tempted to say “Thanks for a big fat _nothingburger,_ Kobayashi!” but his style isn’t all bad. The “Sayonara Gokko” ending works super well with his very decidedly undynamic style. It just doesn’t work for a series episode that requires a strong sense of dynamism to work, like Dororo or Gurren Lagann.
His style isn't bad per se, it just works really badly with Dororo's style, pacing and genre. Sometimes it feels like I'm watching Heidi or Akage no Anne (but done very badly), what's funny knowing both of those _and_ the first Dororo anime where from the World Masterpiece Theater series. Other times, like in the Maimai-Onba fight, it has a different style that I don't know how to describe but it would look better in a more surrealistic kind of anime. It's a pity since his art style worked so well in the ED
without his soul powers I bet he wouldnt have been able to ever find that moth even with eyes...in the new version, I mean why would a giant moth be inside a lake anyways?
@@TheAngelmisa That's true, but for some reason, the animation in episode 15 of the new version had a worse animation than the rest of the episodes. XD
TheCloudyday89 well it’s subjective if it’s bad or not, it’s all a stylistic choice by the AD of the episode, same dude that did Gurran Lagan episode 6, he has a very rough style which not many people like, but it does set him apart from everyone else. We all have to admit though that the final battle against the moth was gorgeous in terms of animation.

Alessia Cavalleri huh? The artstyle may have left many indifferent in episode 15 but the episode has many incredible shots, like this fight. Plus it also has many beautifully animated fights throughout the series.
Oh so thats why animation in new version wad different
Thanks for comparison also
Dororo is so cute in the old style I'm dead
Really? I find him ugly and annoying '_' I guess it's a matter of taste

Dororo (old): this is taking too long (true XD)
AWESOME! WELL DONE! 20 LIKE!
Both were a bit weird this time

Is it wrong that I feel kind of bad for moth girl?
The animation quality is somehow better in the version that's 50 years old.
Sarah Barker Both versions are beautiful and awesome

It was easier and quicker than thr 1969
You know ? This episode 15 is really Disappointing because The artstyle is awful
TheCloudyday89 I actually love the the art style for ep 15
Right. The animation and pacing in that episode was really bad.

who cares The animation for ep 15 is not that awful
@@TheAngelmisa
Compared to the other episodes of the series, it was shit in my opinion. But the fight between Hyakki and the demon was pretty cool.
.....
The heck you two?!! _what have you done?_
Manga is better :|
I agree
what's the difference?

@@tragic_light my complain was only about this episode, there were some points where background characters were drawn really awfully
Alessia Cavalleri understandable, it was a stylistic choice that was intentionally done, not everyone likes it.
