Tim Lee Discusses COLA Funding Hearings

The Texas Legislature's committees are in full swing, and TRTA's Executive Director Tim Lee is here to discuss how they will impact a potential COLA for retirees.

Thank you for taking the time to do this! This Legislation is greatly needed for teachers who are retired and cannot receive any S.S. funds when their spouse passes and they are not able to live on their pension without some help! S.S. gets a COLA and TRS needs to find a way to do the same. Retired teachers deserve this as we devoted our life to service to the state's children. Thank you for working so hard for us!
