When floss itself won't do the trick this video will help adjust your flossing to get out whatever is stuck in your teeth.
Getting something stuck in your teeth can be very painful or at least very annoying. It can also cause serious gum issues or even cavities. These are the set of instructions I have given people for years to get thing wedged and locked in your teeth out. Often times as a dentist this is where I start to get things out of the teeth.
Of course you should consult your local dentist if ever you think you have a dental problem. You can use this video to help you get by if you can't get in.
The three techniques are knotted floss, Floss threading or floss threader, and the proxabrush.
This could be the reason for your teeth pain if all my teeth hurt. These instructions are good for teeth care.

I have invisaligns and they glue things to your teeth which cut my floss and I can’t find a way to get it out. It’s not at the root, it’s at the bottom and I need to find an alternative to the floss threader. They don’t sell them here, so I have no way to get floss above the area that it is stuck😢. So frustrating!
Best tip ever! I was flossing between my filling and the floss got stuck in between my teeth. After several attempts trying to remove it and the floss kept shredding. I used a tweezer, tooth pick, a needle and nothing worked. I tried this trick with a different type of floss (wax floss) and it instantly worked. I'm so relieved and impressed. Because shreds of floss had built up in the space between the two teeth (my - now ex - dentist had done a rough filling), there was no way I could get floss past the 'floss jam', so the knotted floss was a non-starter. However, I tried coming at the impasse from the gum end of the teeth, using a floss threader, and after a few minutes of careful sawing the bunched-up floss threads at last came free ... after more than a week! Good tips! Guys, I suffered for a long time with the problem of food getting stuck between my teeth and constantly losing toothpicks. Long story short I found a metal toothpick on Amazon it's from the azengear brand which I carry with me always and everywhere and it serves as my faithful friend in cleaning my teeth from food! So, just a sincere recommendation!

Knot method is amazing!!! After trying everything under the sun to get cheap dental floss that got shredded and wedged when I tried to floss... my son suggested to look here... after two hours of digging and prodding it took me 3 tries with your knot method to get a big piece out. I'll try again tomorrow to get the rest out. Thank you for posting this very helpful video! No more cheap floss for me!

Oh, thank goodness I found you. I have a raspberry seed stuck in between my tooth and flossing just pushes it up more towards my gum. My teeth are very close together so I'm freaking out and HATE going to the dentist, sorry about that I have a fear of them so try to take extra care of my teeth. Going to the store now and getting a floss threader!

You should go to the dentist. I've managed to get a shard of floss stuck between one of my teeth, and it's so annoying.
The knot helped! I flossed so may times the regular way. Brushed my teeth again. Garbled with salt water.. nothing helped. Used the knotted floss and it came right out 🙏🙌

When I floss, my teeth seem to be cutting the floss and I keep getting short bits of floss wedged between my rear molars.
Sometimes if you have a filling between those teeth they can get sharp ledges that shred the floss. A dentist can maybe smooth off between the teeth. Most dental practices might charge you at least for the Xray to see why it shreds your floss. My practice doesn't charge if it is something small like that but we do charge for an xray.

This is the first useful video that gives tips of how to get the food out, straight to the point. I had a little seed of blueberry between 2 my teeth, I didnt have dental floss only floss picks, so what I did is, while I was introducing the floss in between the teeth, I use the tip of other floss pick to make space between teeth so the first one can go all the way until it reaches the gum. It worked! What a relief. But in the meantime I get my app. with the dentist I am going to buy the floss and the threader just in case this happens again, cause I love blueberries but I have a problem with that teeth

well thanks for the video.. But I tried something crazy and it worked...
I took a piece of shampoo sachet and used the rough end to wedge out a small piece of food by simply placing the rough end between my teeth and rinsing it out gently..
I had a bone wedge up between my teeth.. using tongue didn’t work, fingernail didn’t work, brushing didn’t work, floss didn’t work, floss with knots didn’t work, floss brush didn’t work.. but I wedged a toothpick in between my teeth, waited a few minutes, and gave me enough room to get it out with tweezers!! Thank you for this video and hopefully my method helps someone else. Bled a bit but washed my mouth with TCP and water so hopefully it will be fine! Lockdown DIY Dentistry

Is there a remedy or can the dentish put a filling in the gaps between teeth just to avoid food getting stuck in my teeth?
When ever I eat raw leafy greens from my garden ,which I love to do I get fibers stuck between my left wisdom tooth and its neighbor , I am 60 and have neve r had this problem before , apparently enough of gap has grown up between the teeth that when I chew plant fibers can push down cramming the space between the teeth area with fibers . I have been sing a flash light and a pair of tweezers but as time goes by and the gaps widens so theses still some fiber left stuck tightly at the top ( near the gum line the gap is wide ) I think the fibers are also forcing the teeth part making the problem worse each time I eat raw green leafies.I wish I could just apply a drop of glue between then to fill that tiny gap so i could chew like before with n op problems. Is their a glue like that a dentist can apply ?

OK my back teeth are very tight together and i used like those plastic paper tags on clothes I wedged it between my teeth and the paper got wedged between my back teeth I used everything it might still be stuck deeper in there than usual my gums might be bruised I need options and ways to help

There is a small space between my teeth(the molars) and something is stuck in it and the gums around those are now swollen I tried to get it out by using floss and it does the job and the swelling reduces by doesn’t go away and every time I floss that area I still feeling like something still stuck inside like a piece of chicken or something

what about stuff lodged in the top of the teeth, in the tiny groves of the tooth. I can feel it with my tongue and it's driving me nuts!
I will keep trying but a stick of gum with something crystallized (sugar? ) got lodged. Of course I spit the gum out but the remaining gum is wedged and the small piece of crystal is very sharp. It’s Saturday even. Annoying to have it there but not worth an emergency visit.

I get meat stuck everytym I eat in gums between my molar teeth. I always have to take the meat out with toothpick and later get itchy gums. How do I prevent meat from entering in gums and avoid itchy gums? It literally has become a hole. Plz reply
I got stupid cheap shredded floss between one of my molars it's been driving me crazy I haven't slept. I was flossing and then it got stuck between my molars and I couldn't get it out normally so I pulled it out one end from the side which shredded small pieces of the floss which got stuck there. I don't want to try to floss again and push it down deeper. I think I have to try floss threader if I have any chance of getting it out but I don't know where to find one.
I used to have braces. Now where my top retainer pops in the back of my right side mouth, it bleeds and it very veryyyyy red.

If you have something that is partially stuck... Use a freaking cotton stick.. it worked for me

Every time I eat pomegranate seeds, I get a couple stuck in the top of my teeth. Not between the teeth like broccoli, popcorn hulls, or pineapple fiber; I mean on top of the bumpy grinding surface. It doesn’t come out when I floss because it’s not in a gap. It seems like it takes forever to get dislodged and I never remember what did the trick. Can you suggest a quick and safe technique?
