How to make Sanshoku Don
Sanshoku 三色　means 3 colors
Don 丼= Rice in the big bowl with toppings
Sanshoku Don consists of
1. Torisoboro
Sweet savory ground chicken
2. Iritamago
Finely scrambled eggs
3. Green vegetables
(I used spinach today)
Sanshoku Don was one of my most favorite school meal or Kyushoku (給食)。I sometimes make Sanshoku Don for my daughters’ school lunch to surprise them.
Ingredients for 4 servings
Torisoboro
1/2 lb ground chicken
3 tbsp soysauce
2 tbsp Sake
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp grated ginger
Iritamago
4 eggs
2 tbsp Sake
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp sake
Spinach
1 bunch Spinach
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Soysauce
