I discovered your channel recently and you are my favorite RUclips Lego channel by far!!! Love your videos and can’t get enough of your lovely voice! Thanks ❤
36:28 yeah I created that and so I think it’s also pretty well built 😎 thanks for the compliments on the build (I think it has a fair chance of being built but yeah those other space sets definitely don’t help)
it looks great but i think other subnautica things such as a reaper/seamoth/cyclops would more cool! maybe if u designed these too, you could send me the link?
If the judges decide a smaller set gets chosen, I think the Sea Turtle is likely to win, as it is beautiful & a good size for most people’s budget. A mid size choice? I’d like to see the Stud Lane book nook as I just absolutely adore it, as will many who like to use their shelves like I do - for both books & for displaying their Lego! If Lego choose to go for a big set as their winner, then I’d love to see the Forest Base get made. It looks very playable & a lot of fun. Finally, I totally agree that the Steve Irwin/ crocodile design deserves to be made & to get it into production before the anniversary of his passing would be wonderful. I’d buy it! 🐊
The forestmen I would definitely buy. It deserves a proper reboot. The castle in the forest sold out in 20 minutes. This would definitely sell like hot cake. Count me in.
I don't even want to think about how much money I would shell out for a buildable Agent-P, or the Doofenshmirtz building. 😶 🎶 There's a hundred-and-four days of summer vacation...🎵
I think The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a contender for broad appeal. That book and Eric Carle's art generally are popular for licensing in all sorts of stuff. Also, there have been museum exhibits of his art, and originals and prints are quite popular now that he's passed. Of all the young children's books, this is the one that could really do well with adults. Additionally, anyone in an educator position, or working with children generally would enjoy displaying this. I think it would be nice to display next to Botanical and the current insects as well, scale aside. I hope that I am right about all that, because I want The Very Hungry Caterpillar more than any other finalist. Thanks for the detailed review. You've got some great insights that I wouldn't have thought of.
i hadnt even thought about that in regards to the great temple of abu simbel! i thought it was a wonderful set even without being a history buff but the same color issue you mentioned... i love little detailed builds but i agree that it would probably be just so difficult with all that sand color everywhere
Bike. Train bookshelf. Marine wildlife. Map in a chest. Queen Elizabeth. Plane wreckage. Sea turtle. Forest base. From these I'd buyt: Bike, Queen Elizabeth, Sea turtle, Forest base.
I'd definitely buy the Moon Palace, the Juke Box, the Rolls and the Flying Scotsman. And if they produced the tractor, being from a farming background, I'd have to buy it too! 😊
Caterpillar, Moon Palace, and a Taylor Swift set. Those would be my bet. Maybe Steve Irving as a joker. The caterpiller would be a smaller build and a low price tag. The moon palace can easily be scaled down to a more simple style, and then the Taylor Swift house would be the modular-size-and-price set. And if a Taylor Swift deal isn't possible, then it'll be Steve Irving I think.
Chameleon (would be a gwp with the crocodile) Spartan helmet Marine life Buildable crocodile Trojan war horse Sea turtle And James webb space telescope, all look kinda good I want them to be real sets
I think when the forestman cabin gets cleaned up by lego would make a fantastic set, but It needs a lot of rework.... it might be just too much brown on brown. the bricklink one is a bit too big maybe? and also wont have any unique minis which with only one forestman outfit and borrowing from other castle themes will look a bit bland.
The problem with that spartan helmet in that level of detail is it becomes a historical scale model and it's not historical. The creator modeled it as a Corinthian style and called the set "SPARTAN HELMET OF LEONIDAS" so you would expect it to be a historical model. If this was a fantasy set that's one thing, but if you look up Corinthian helmets we know about it doesn't match the details. Also there is no evidence that the spartan hoplites wore body armor but their heavy infantry probably had something similar to other Greek hoplites at the time. I'm pretty certain that no Greek hoplite had bronze shoulder armor like that but rather they just had a bronze cuirass (chest armor).
I disagree with your take on gumball machine, Lego are doing Polaroids and just released a phone box, I think that one is very likely. Balances iconic object with Lego really well.
I don’t want anything made of Lego that already exists in the real world. A brick built …globe, typewriter, or microscope. If you want one go get the real thing. If it’s for display only it turns into a dust collector after the build. Making it a play set gives the potential to sell to a greater customer base. If you put the stipulation of non licensed sets which makes it more affordable and 1000-2000 pieces that makes it a serious build what comes out on top?
No way Twin Towers with so many deaths associated. The theme representing unspeakable tragic deaths stops with the Titanic...and maybe the Hindenburg...then maybe the Wuhan Lab Modular but then that's it.
Most of these are duds to be honest. Anything plays set related would be a huge win unless it's like some band or music niche. The Japanese moon play set seems to be the strongest imo. The SpongeBob set is second strongest but seeing how it's an old IP I don't believe Lego would do it.
I would like to see Lego do an ancient world line with stuff from Ancient Greece, Roam, Egypt etc.

That’s very kind of you, thank you I really appreciate your support 🙏 👍
As a HUGE swiftie I obviously would love a lover house. However I don’t think it would ever be done for many reasons.

Great picks 👍 shame they can’t all make it
Gotta say, I love the "Service Station" - simple, but really well done.
Very, cool design

Met him once. Very nice person, very warm.
Tailspin looks top notch. It looks awesome as a display and would be fun to put together. Come on, Lego.. Make this 40 yr old boy's dream come true!
Desktop rock n roll, Galley of Warriors and Italian Riviera would be my top three.
That seaturtle is amazing!!!! Id buy that in a flash if it was released. And im a lego star wars guy!!
Agree. I think it’s stunning!
The minifig gum ball machine would absolutely sell!
Subnautica is a game set in the ocean, not space. That said, I don't know if that makes a difference at all.
bullshit its in space
i hadnt even thought about that in regards to the great temple of abu simbel! i thought it was a wonderful set even without being a history buff but the same color issue you mentioned... i love little detailed builds but i agree that it would probably be just so difficult with all that sand color everywhere
Yeah it’s my only problem with it because otherwise it’s super cool
The Service Station is awesome
Agreed. probably my favorite
Bike. Train bookshelf. Marine wildlife. Map in a chest. Queen Elizabeth. Plane wreckage. Sea turtle. Forest base.
From these I'd buyt: Bike, Queen Elizabeth, Sea turtle, Forest base.
Toaster will win ! Type writer... Polaroïd camera... Classic camera... Vintage radio...
Definitely stands a very good chance, has precedent as you say
The photographer is John Muir. He would stand on top of his car. Considering they have honored a few heros, this needs to get built.
Ideas is my favourite theme. Love them all
Awesome video!
Thanks!
I think Mr Roger’s would be an extremely good choice for Lego, and very commercially viable.
I'd definitely buy the Moon Palace, the Juke Box, the Rolls and the Flying Scotsman. And if they produced the tractor, being from a farming background, I'd have to buy it too! 😊

Also, redbull is a very specific brand that is also not the most kid friendly, or that's my guess.
Chameleon (would be a gwp with the crocodile)
Spartan helmet
Marine life
Buildable crocodile
Trojan war horse
Sea turtle
And James webb space telescope, all look kinda good I want them to be real sets
great video also you should watch coraline! its a great movie and also kinda scary if you are into scary movies
I'm intrigued! I'll try and find it on one of the million streaming services lol
There will be 3 castles and a train and train station....just have to look at what we got before.
The Rolls and the Flying Scotsman are both “shut up and take my money” sets, especially the Roller
Totally. 👍
Great video, subscribed!
Same here!
Thanks 👍 glad you liked it
Love the River Boat and I think the Gumball Machine might get picked
There are lots of dead submissions that I would buy plans for!
Yeah would be nice if they did it

Yup good points. I think with some reworking it could be a great addition though and I really want a good base for the forestmen
i hope the sequoia tree or the roman ship gets chosen. Also the no mans sky is really accurate. Would also like to have that

Appreciate your insight, good points 👍
Gotta go with the log flume ride. Need more funfair raides
Yeah. The way it's designed is brilliant
In my opinion I prefer this forest base for being made on wood. That makes more sense for me.
I disagree with your take on gumball machine, Lego are doing Polaroids and just released a phone box, I think that one is very likely. Balances iconic object with Lego really well.
I don't think the Sequoia or the frogs have any chance of being built.. but otherwise I mostly agree with the analysis.
Would absolutely have Lego man anatomy set. Along with the microscope
I want the forest men’s base to win. Castle pirates and Star Wars are their best ones
Great video as always…forestmen base all the way! 👍
The Forestmen is the only set I'd definitely buy. But they'll probably dumb down the details.
Yeah, that's always the worry

The Muppet Show theater and stage
the talespin or red dwarf big fan
No way Twin Towers with so many deaths associated. The theme representing unspeakable tragic deaths stops with the Titanic...and maybe the Hindenburg...then maybe the Wuhan Lab Modular but then that's it.
I wonder if it is compatible with the lego city Airport sets.
@@owenfautley they add a plane sidebuild
The rolls royce is cool
i really do hope the No Man's Sky one gets chosen.
I think the steamboat is very very probable.
Bro does Lego frigging pay anything to these people who pump out these ideas ?
Most of these are duds to be honest. Anything plays set related would be a huge win unless it's like some band or music niche. The Japanese moon play set seems to be the strongest imo. The SpongeBob set is second strongest but seeing how it's an old IP I don't believe Lego would do it.
Why the hell do you sound exactly like the spiffing Brit in those first few seconds
I would love a Taylor Swift house 😊
Forestmen base 1000%
Who is Frank anyway?
If they gave that tractor enough exposure I bet it could sell really well.
Can anyone tell me what the issues between TLG and Universal are? I tried doing a google search and came up with nothing.
Hard to explain in short but been some disagreements. The latest stuff with the wrong releasing re despicable me didn’t help
@@Stud-Lord Okay. If you recall any sites or key-words that would help me do another search on the story, it would be appreciated.
