We do everything we can to simplify the installation - unfortunately Ram didn't have lights on the mirrors on 3rd gens, so there is wiring involved to gain the lights on 3rd gen mirror lights.
We are working on a retrofit solution for you, but as of writing this comment (4/7/2024) we don't yet have it available! Email sales@boostautoparts.com for more information and to be notified when we have a solution.

Does the start up sequence require any extra wiring like turn signal does
If you choose running light only with startup sequence it is plug and play
