Hey guys it’s the owner here, haha this was the first time I ever got any exhaust work done. I was still getting into cars at the time and just wanted to try out things, it definitely did not sound good compared to a lot of exhaust, but it was fun to drive and get reactions. I blew the trans on it a while back and now I drive a v6 Honda Accord with vtec and it definitely sounds a lot better than this lol

I had an 05 ZX5 and what I did was put a 27” glass pack right after the down pipe and then got rid of the factory muffler and resonator. Sound deep but with that long ass glass pack it didn’t sound tinny like this at all.
I got my muffler or that lunch box thing off my 05 focus ( same model). Low key wanna make it sound better. Got any suggestions for like a budget idea, cause my brother wants me in his shitbox group and well... mine car sounds like a bitch compared to there cars
Needs a glasspack to deepen the tone. It is going to resonate and drone on the inside like mad with being all straight pipe.

I have a 07 focus manual, all I did was take the muffler off and put a injen exhaust tip and it has a clean sound. Sounds alot better then this automatic one in the video...
Should've kept the resonator and added a glasspack where the muffler was, make it quieter and deeper, exactly what a 4cyl needs.

I have an 07 Zx3 and put a 2.5” flexpipe back with a cherry bomb. And it sounds decent, this sounds terrible lol. This needs some type of glass pack to take the rasp off
We had a 02 zts with no muffler or resonator and it was ridiculous but it didnt pop or crack

Straight pipes are just too much, they're obnoxiously loud, muffler deletes are just perfect, not too loud, not too quiet, and they make the car sound awesome.

Yeah, I made this mistake when I was 19. Except mine just routed out the side where I cut off the res. Have a short of it on my channel. Put the stock exhaust back on shortly after. This car has no right being that loud.
Sounds like my 09 Focus I love how it sounds but my neighbors hate me especially in the morning lol , I’m planning to quiet it down tired of getting tickets for noise violations, upstate New York is getting crazy with law enforcement and they will give Hella tickets

Another one of those cars that will be back later on to install mufflers.. Seriously though. Deleting off resonators and mufflers are not the way to go if you want a nice sounding loud exhaust. They need to research. A good FlowFX muffler in the place of the stock resonator would do wonders with this car. This thing sounds horrible.

Oh hell naw. That's way too quiet, you can barely hear that car. Owner should have just run open manifolds which is hands down the best setup and provides upwards of 90-100whp gains on these Ford Focus's
