this is a great flight mate, too bad about the crash, but that happens. i am thinking about buying a goblin sooner or later, probably later. great flying and get that goblin back into the air. have fun and safe flying mate
Bro I would have landed right away when I heard that noise, even before the RPM drop I heard something like a mouse getting squished. Keep up the testing!
The very first thing to do when you crash a heli is unplug the connector and remove the battery!! There is a risk of serious injury if something goes wrong (you never know..) and, expecially with this setup, you have over 100 V and you risk electrocution too! You don't check damage before removing the battery!! Be careful!
I see everyone is busting your balls about the turnigy packs, but the pack didn't cause the crash here everyone. It was a belt or motor shaft bearing that fail here, not the damn turnigy packs. The packs looked like they got the bird in the air to me, and even took the crash without a fire. Nice bird and build my friend.
Jesus Christ That thing is some scary shit! Like when it started moving as fast as it was my instincts whunted to get the nope outta there🙀 And here I thought a 135mph racing drone was scary just because of its speed💀😅
Were the belts replaced in the last crash.? Damaged belts have bit me in the ass with vibes(no big deal) and snapping one! I'm not seeing everything in the video. That belt jamming the motor momentarily could grenade the motor. Would shock me if it snapped the shaft. Was the esc ok? Sorry bout the crash! Very cool 24s setup! I run g500's on 12s+ and have a G speed on the way! Cheers mate
Goblin shows again how sturdy it is :) it`s amazing how little damage there is (i had already 4 crashes and averaged 85USD / crash excluding blades :D How heavy is your Goblin flying ? Whats the weight of the packs ?
What's wrong with Turnigy packs? I have been flying the SAB Goblin 700 with Turnigy packs with no problems at all. Also before that with other planes and choppers never a problem with Turnigy...
It just shred the drive belt. You need to be thinking about a Kevlar belt if you going to be flying like that dude! It's a big ask from such a small belt.oh and some new pitch change links!
Your tempatures sounded wrong. only 74 for the motor? My 600 measures 110 or more after a flight w/ ESC around 90 . Maybe you have a tremendous speed control? Too bad about the belt but u can purchase a kevlar belt sometimes used in piston powered full scale helis.
Well i saw this video by mistake...and tought it was your 24 time you flied it! Reading it again i saw 24s... then i realized someone moking about using Turnigy Lipos... well they work and they are cheap. If they work why people complain about being cheap? Everything lipo i had big name, Gens ace, ThunderPower or Revolectrix are no better then Turnigy ones. Anyway... then i saw you use DEANS. Well for that i was going to say bad words about it...but thinking again.. that's a lot of low KV motor...so DEANS should survive...they will handle 60A continuous... such low kv motor is ok. GREAT JOB! That's the most powerfull heli i ever seen on youtube. I only saw 14s from Tareq and it's beyond crazy speed. Your's a Planet of torque that's why the Goblin can't handle it.... you need military belts, not hobbiest!!
I would this ESC handle 104volts because we are getting lipos that can be slightly overcharged lihv is a thing but only good quality lipos like TP can do it tho you can max then out to 4.35volts per a cell so it's gona be interesting
same weight or even lighter than a 12S.... remember on 12S you run 2, 5,000mah packs. on 24S you run 4 2,500mah packs.. and on 24S the bigger advantage you dont need 65C packs cause the Amp draw is half or less than half of the 12S.... the C ratting used is like 25c to 30c so you save a good bit of weight there.
Man I am at the point now where the crash is heartbreaking. I thought it would get better, possibly be less emotionally affected by crashing but it gets worse not better. +1 on getting the batteries the fuck out of the thing. All that aside can you give us a damage report? I am not poking fun in any way honestly that fucker ripped! Possibly the fasted thing I've seen ever.
continue your tests on a Compass 7HV., I get more HS then that stock:) and i garantee you wont be breakin parts, through your testing phase , nor once testin is done and youe satisfied with the power setup.
listen at 2:10 you can hear it starting to let go, it starts to make a warble sound through the tail then the tail stops and crash i was flying my electric heli today and lost my tail also, was way way up when it happened and couldn't see for sure but thought i had shed a tail blade but after 2 hours of searching for my heli i eventually found it and the gyro had come loose and caused the tail to go mental, it suffered damage but nothing like what i was expecting luckily and i have a big tool box full of spares and can fix it without having to wait. i was a bit gutted when my cheap 450 went down but if i owned a heli like this dude and it came down from a mechanical fail i would have been crying like a child lol
Very nice helicopter, You would think for the amount of cash you spent on that motor they would have better QC making them. I mean would it really hurt there wallet to locktite the grub screws lol? Or would that add another 200$ to the price tag lol
KpilotRCHelis LOL if you where smart enough to read! Sadly your not...... You would see the motor can lock nut slipped....... causing it to come off........
Double the voltage, half the current, so power and weight stay the same. That's OK but C rating also stays the same. As long as each pack discharges in the same amount of time as in 12S setup, each pack still requires the same rating as before. Remember you halved the current, you also halved each pack's mAh. So C rating requirement is the same.
Wow I could hear part way through the video that the belt was packing a sad too bad you didnt bring her down I sure as hell wouldve sounded extremely vivd! looks to have held up the crash well though wasnt a horribly hard impact :D and also to the assholes packing a sad about turnigy packs?!! really? I run two (paired up for 1 flight pack obviously) 4500mah 6s 60c Turnigy Gold A-spec Lipos in my Align 700e dfc fbl hv, always have! and not once have I ever had a problem with any type of turnigy pack Helis/ Cars/ Planes . ., obviously the people moaning about them throwing their toys out the cot have either : A; never used them or B; have been in the hobby 2 seconds and dont know what the fuck theyre doing cause they have never trialed multiple batts, also theyre hardly cheap? $200 a battery x2 so $400 in the heli just for a single flight pack (plus the RX and electronics lipo) and your telling me its cheap crap? your insane, but thats none of my business
House wire can only run 50 amps but put out 50,000 watts... they get the watts from volts. House wire can run up to 600 volts. Any rc set up is better with the highest volts you can fit weight wise. You use less amps and need less Milliamps sized packs.
All that quality equipment and you run it on turnigy cheapo crap packs...lol. Also why run 24s? 24s only good for speed runs not 3d. It's overkill. 14 to 16s is plenty.
I know, isn't gens ace a cheap brand? I thought they were anyway. But really the turnigy packs are very good, I've been using them for years and I'm even still using the original packs that I bought back then. Trust worthy and a great price
if your bashing lighter is probably better but a bigger 800 model is not really designed for be smacked like a headless chicken those birds look beautiful at 1800rpm doing swift smooth 3D
all that head speed and it's all gone.. I don't fly rc helo's... but I would have thought it would have had enough energy left to get it down on the skids...
yea deans is way fine!!!!! First they are a very great plug and if you have problems with them you dont know what your doing... Second... 6S 12S 24S..... all your doing is increasing the Volts. You can run very extremely high volts through most any plug... Volts is not the problem... Amps is the bad guy.. High Amps make heat and lots of it. Third... You have to have power aka Watts...Low volts = high amps = high heat = death to elec stuff.. High volts = low amps = cool elec stuff = better!
deans lol ahaaaha ha oh dear tears in my eyes thats so funny i dont even use them in cars ! if your lazy at least use xt60 genuine connectors even then your pushing your luck
You need more S! 24S is not enough! You need 48S!
When rich people gets bored? Whatever it is, we need a sequel
this is a great flight mate, too bad about the crash, but that happens. i am thinking about buying a goblin sooner or later, probably later. great flying and get that goblin back into the air. have fun and safe flying mate

Messed Fets What speed controller are you using? Sorry about the crash but the heli was looking good before it went in. I want to build a 770 for 16s.
Custom made 24S ESC. Custom wound motor too.
I see everyone is busting your balls about the turnigy packs, but the pack didn't cause the crash here everyone. It was a belt or motor shaft bearing that fail here, not the damn turnigy packs. bad ass crash landing... Heads up for the pilot
Jesus Christ That thing is some scary shit! Like when it started moving as fast as it was my instincts whunted to get the nope outta there🙀

Hier ist das alte deutsche Sprichwort in Aktion: ! "All zu viel, zerreißt den Sack!"
Jungs den Kopf einschalten! :) Der arme, schöne Hubschrauber!
Thats nuts..... luvd it. Hope the bird was okay.
Goblin shows again how sturdy it is :) it`s amazing how little damage there is (i had already 4 crashes and averaged 85USD / crash excluding blades :D

Hi, How did the belt break. They are suppose to be very strong.
Yea we have half the current a normal 12S, so deans is OK. In-fact the average current draw is only roughly 20amps.
Sick Heli dude! Rebuild and fly again that's what we do
With 24 esses does it really matter?
The current output from each one will be so small that even cheap packs would still run strong
They seemed to work just fine? Besides even if they fail, that's not something would cause a fatal crash.
It just shred the drive belt. You need to be thinking about a Kevlar belt if you going to be flying like that dude! It's a big ask from such a small belt.oh and some new pitch change links!

Runs cooler because it high voltage.
Yeah HV series sounds about right. @00 amp ESC made in germany?
I meant 200 amp ESC, Krotonic?

Can not wait to see it.
very nice heli + components, wish u the best brah
sorry for your loss
after the crash 1st you do is unplug batt, to awoid flame and short cut to the system and next se the damage. xex.
That shit sounds like its gonna break.
same weight or even lighter than a 12S.... remember on 12S you run 2, 5,000mah packs. on 24S you run 4 2,500mah packs.. and on 24S the bigger advantage you dont need 65C packs cause the Amp draw is half or less than half of the 12S.... the C ratting used is like 25c to 30c so you save a good bit of weight there.
Very nice setup, by the way!
Listen carefully to the quick high-pitched squeal at 1:34-1:35. I wonder if that noise was the first sign of the belt tearing.
Ah the old speedy..
are these 4 6s batteries?
A deans. on a 24S setup???
Man I am at the point now where the crash is heartbreaking. Rich Morgenstein the belt snapped it has nothing to do with the motor
KpilotRCHelis LOL if you where smart enough to read! Sadly your not...... You would see the motor can lock nut slipped....... causing it to come off........
+Rich Morgenstein " Sadly your not."
His not what?
+Rich Morgenstein
if I where smart enough?
Sadly your not?
Do you even English, bro?
+Rich Morgenstein You are an idiot w/ a gay complex. Were u even born in the eighties?
your belt was way to high..it was rubing on the plate above it.you can tell by the way it was shredded..only on top...
20 amps per pack?

nice heli too bad about the belt but damage doesn't look too bad.
is this just a prototype or something ??/
thats 100v 24s my god and I thought 12s was alot.
please be very careful when dealing with that kind of power .
All jokes aside.
this is not flying this is a heli having a demon poses it
No wonder I was so scared when it started flying around🤣
hoody obstructed your vision.
yea but what about watts and volts
Wow I could hear part way through the video that the belt was packing a sad too bad you didnt bring her down I sure as hell wouldve sounded extremely vivd! looks to have held up the crash well though wasnt a horribly hard impact :D and also to the assholes packing a sad about turnigy packs?!! really? nice chopper hopefully get mine in the air too 14s
turnigy packs on a 2500$ heli, lol.
ja era, concerta e poe no ar novamente .....
House wire can only run 50 amps but put out 50,000 watts... they get the watts from volts. House wire can run up to 600 volts.
Any rc set up is better with the highest volts you can fit weight wise. You use less amps and need less Milliamps sized packs.
Deans connectors and HobbyKing batteries on the most expensive 3D kit on the market. Good job. Bahahaha.
24s......seems like 12s too many.
Don't you need like a 100kv motor at 24s
24S, the weight it adds must be more then the power gain you get out of it
Don't knock the China packs they work great. I have been using them for 7 years.
All that quality equipment and you run it on turnigy cheapo crap packs...lol. Also why run 24s? 24s only good for speed runs not 3d. It's overkill. 14 to 16s is plenty.
Those turnigy packs are actually really really good, better than the name brands that I have used. Even tareq alsaadi uses the cheaper ones
Umm no...Tareq only uses Gens Ace lipos for his heli's because he's sponsored by them. For his Drones he uses Tattu lipo's that are made by Gens Ace.
I know, isn't gens ace a cheap brand? I thought they were anyway. But really the turnigy packs are very good, I've been using them for years and I'm even still using the original packs that I bought back then. Trust worthy and a great price
guitarman10000005 agreed.
he probably used turnigy because he didnt want to spend $900 on name brand packs when he didnt even know if it would work
if your bashing lighter is probably better but a bigger 800 model is not really designed for be smacked like a headless chicken those birds look beautiful at 1800rpm doing swift smooth 3D
all that head speed and it's all gone..
I don't fly rc helo's... but I would have thought it would have had enough energy left to get it down on the skids...
why is it you think you need 24s ?
To increase Adrenalin levels. :)
that was uneventful
yea deans is way fine!!!!!
High volts = low amps = cool elec stuff = better!
thank God the damage ain't that big... you are good pilot though #globaleagle #globaleaglehelicopters
Why don't they make them gear driven
Gears cost a hell of alot more to replace when striped AND belts give more when put under stress lasting much longer than rigid gears
You apparently don't understand current draw
Nano puffs in a goblin haha spend less on a kit and get better batts
24 cells???!!!!
Thats's just stupid.
useing 3 2.65 amp cells why no just use one 6000 mah one
24s is a heli that size is overkill
you can hear it slipping in 1:34
24s setup.. thats pointless .. its good enough on 12s
this is no sound 2:02
The right punishment for this crap
mdr mais pourquoi des batteries turnigie sur un sab a 1500 € ?? !! tarez !!
yea
try with thonder power 70C 24s :P
Would= would not
Oops
deans lol ahaaaha ha oh dear tears in my eyes thats so funny i dont even use them in cars ! if your lazy at least use xt60 genuine connectors even then your pushing your luck
add a pudli
eh brincar de aviãozinho soh da nisso mesmo..... da nada não papai compra outro,,,,....rs rs rs rs rs rs
Another garbits rc heli with belt drive system don't buy that's kinds of helis guy's my opinion and experience for 35years old pilot
Looked like a dumb thumb to me...
