I do occasionally give my feet a pedicure I use a pumice stone and a fine blade to remove hard skin.
The beginning disclaimer was hysterical.
Thank you so much for your no nonsense approach to a pedicure. I don’t like paying for a pedicure or spending the time at the pedicure shop so this is perfect for me and I’m going to get the products that you are recommending. You are the best!
Gemma, great video as I’ve never seen a video on foot care, so thank you so much. Your feet are so cute. 😊. I must say I use Rx Ammonium 12% cream. It will last me a good 2-3 yrs. You must wear gloves when applying to your feet or it will cause the skin around our finger nails to peel. I also use Alpha Glycolic Acid Lotion on my the bottom of my feet and behind my ankles. It’s amazing. I made the mistake of using it on my toes and it really caused a huge problem with my big toe nails coming off? My Podiatrist could not explain what it was , but I never had a problem with my toenails until I used the Alpha Glycolic Cream on them. I never thought about using the Ordinary Chemical peel on my feet, so I for sure will try it. But using what I use, my feet stay baby bottom soft. Thank you sweetie. Great video.

I'd hugely recommend a metal foot file, instead of the plastic/sandpaper type 1s...they're a game changer & last for ages
Loved this video - and great to see you actually have feet 😂 I use the Altruist body lotion that you recommended in a previous video. It contains 6% Urea which is great for the dry skin on the soles of the feet

Really helpful tips (never heard of the Ordinary product) Looking forward to experimenting. Fully get how you feel 'in better control of your life' when your feet look well manicured! - I rarely think to do it but when I do it somehow boosts my confidence and feels quite elegant..!

I haven't thought to use The Ordinary peel on my feet (it frightens me for face, wouldn't use it their on my skin). I also like a bright pop of colour on toenails.

Definitely going to try this. I was wearing sandals stood on an escalator last weekend thinking please don’t look at my heels at the person behind me. Don’t know about a foot file though, think I might need a sander 😂😂

Timing is A plus!!! i broke a toe in mid May, and don't want to have a "professional" hurt me more than if i was gentle on my own injured toe.

@@PamperedWolf they say it will be a slow bone to heal because a toe can't be splinted. this little hiccup is Nothing compared to the REST of the world. ❤❤
As gross as it is, foot scraper has been invaluable to my Irish Dance feet. I have never had soft feet in my life but this has helped me get back to a normal foot and maintain it. I did slice my foot the first time I used it though - but I could’ve built a new person with the amount of skin that came off 😂
What do you think of Kerasal foot cream? A manicurist I follow (and has so helped my fingernails) suggests it for hands. Same essential routine you did, substituting jojoba oil then a tiny bit of kerasal (oh, this is overnight too). Sorry I’ve forgotten her name. I’ll add it if I find it.

I can’t stand wearing socks to bed. But my heels are so rough I’ve found cutting off just the top of the sock, where your toes go, helps so much to not feel like you have suffocated feet! 😂

Loved a video on toenail care. How would you remove the white marks left from having nail color on too long
Usually white marks are caused by trauma to the nail plate as the nail is growing x
That happened to me after I left polish on too long and I had to keep my toe nails bare and apply a nail anti fungus serum nightly for awhile and then just let them grow out, clipping off the white patches as they grew. It took all winter! I’m super careful now!

Have you ever used a foot peel? The kind where you soak or shower first, so your damp feet can absorb the product in the booty you put on and wear for an hour. Then remove the booty and rinse your feet. And over the next 4-10 days your feet will peel off leaving you with smooth skin. They work great!

You lost me at - dry skin. I very, very seldom have dry skin on my feet. They are always damp specialy in the summer so putting stuff on dry feet is not going to work for me.
That doesn’t sound great.
